Hello,
This is davidji and welcome to the daily insight.
Let's find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Let's gently feather our nest.
Once you're comfortable,
Together let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time together.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently release it.
And remember comfort is queen.
So feel free to adjust yourself.
Keep moving towards comfort and keep watching your breath.
Keep witnessing.
Keep observing.
Let's explore the concept of attention.
And right now your attention is on the breath as it flows down into you.
And as it flows back out.
And just watch.
Simply witness.
And notice that your mind is calming.
Notice that your body is relaxing.
And keep witnessing.
Feel the breath go way down deep into you.
And feel it fully release as it leaves you.
There's nowhere else to be.
There's nothing else to do.
Except to be right here.
Right now.
In this sacred,
Precious,
Present moment.
And let's silently witness as we receive,
As we accept,
As we allow.
And then as we release,
As we surrender,
And as we let go.
Your body.
Your mind.
Your world is in constant dynamic exchange.
Receiving,
Accepting,
Allowing thoughts,
Sounds,
And physical sensations into you.
And then releasing them.
Surrendering them back out.
Letting go.
Everything we take in,
Everything we absorb comes into us.
Merges with us.
And then flows back out.
And this is known in the ancient Sanskrit teachings as ritam.
The rhythm of life.
So let's just witness the rhythm of our body,
The rhythm of our breath,
The rhythm of your heartbeat.
Right now,
Just witness existence.
Now we can take this practice even a little deeper.
By planting an intention.
An intention that allows us to be in rhythm.
In rhythm with the universe.
In rhythm with the tides.
In rhythm with the sunlight.
In rhythm with the seasons.
In rhythm with the world around you.
So let's invite the intention into our awareness of ritam.
Of rhythm.
Of alignment.
Of flow.
Of grace.
Of ease.
Just invite these intentions into your awareness.
Into your mind.
Into your heart.
Into every fiber of your being.
Invite them in.
Allow yourself to become them.
With each beat of your heart and with each breath that you take.
Just allow yourself to align with the rhythm,
The ritam of life.
Notice your breath as it flows more deeply into you.
And notice how your body reacts.
As your lungs fill.
As your chest rises.
As your lungs empty.
As your chest eases.
Notice as you walk throughout the day,
You're in alignment.
You're in flow.
Your cadence and the cadence of the universe is fully aligned.
So let's just witness for a bit here.
And feel yourself settling.
Feel your heartbeat and the heartbeat of the universe aligning.
And synchronizing.
And we can take this deeper with a mantra.
We'll use the ancient Sanskrit vibrations.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om is the universal vibration.
And ritam is the rhythm of life.
The rhythm of the universe.
The rhythm of existence.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Say it out loud with me one time together.
Om-ritam.
And now whisper it.
Om-ritam.
And now begin repeating it silently to yourself.
As you repeat this mantra over and over and over and over,
You may notice that it changes.
It may become louder or fainter,
Faster or slower.
It may become jumbled or distorted.
That's okay.
However it changes,
Don't resist.
You may even drift away to thoughts or sounds or physical sensations.
All part of the process.
And as soon as you realize that you've drifted away,
Ever so gently drift back to om-ritam.
And this is a silent practice,
So I'll watch the time.
And when you hear me ring the chime,
Just sit gently with your eyes closed.
So let's begin.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Om-ritam.
Sit gently with your eyes closed and let the stillness and silence settle in.
And now together with me take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time and let's feel that rhythm.
And release.
And now let's celebrate our flow.
Let's seal this meditation by chanting the hymn of the universe,
The universal vibration,
Om.
Together just one time take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Om.
And when it feels comfortable you can slowly open your eyes.
You can drink in this sacred,
Precious,
Present moment.
And know that deeply embedded within you is alignment,
Flow,
And ritam.
Your heartbeat and the heartbeat of the universe are fully connected.
And over the course of the day if you feel disconnected or overwhelmed or out of sorts,
Simply remind yourself.
Come back to the mantra.
Just come back to the mantra.
Om-ritam.
And effortlessly step back into that flow.
From the sweet spot of the universe this is Devaji.
Have a beautiful day,
A day of alignment,
A day of connection,
And a day of sweet ritam.
Keep meditating and I'll see you in the gap.
