Hello sweet soul,
This is davidji and welcome to today's meditation.
Let's ever so gently settle in.
Let's feather your nest.
Remember comfort is queen.
Always keep moving towards comfort throughout the practice.
Remember to make it gentle,
Make it easy.
This practice of yours is a gift.
So let's begin by taking a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and ever so gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and release.
As you fully surrender,
Allowing your shoulders to drop,
Your face to soften,
Your eyelids to gently close and your body to relax.
Before we drift into the soft embrace of silence,
Let us pause here in the fertile soil of this sacred,
Precious,
Present moment and remember who we truly are.
So much of our daily experience is shaped by identity,
By the roles we play,
The stories we carry,
The names we answer to and the masks we wear for the world.
We call ourselves by our jobs,
Our relationships,
Our wounds.
We speak in labels,
Mother,
Teacher,
Seeker,
Survivor.
And slowly,
Quietly,
Over time,
We begin to believe that these definitions are all that we are.
But beneath every name,
Beneath every mask,
Beneath the swirl of emotion and the echo of thought,
There is something deeper,
Something timeless,
Something that was never born and cannot die.
Something that does not need to be improved,
Fixed,
Earned or achieved.
It is the pure awareness that sees through your eyes.
It is the still witness beneath your breath.
It is the silent,
Spacious presence that existed before your first thought and will remain after your last.
In the ancient Vedic teachings,
It is called sat-cit-ananda,
Truth,
Consciousness,
Bliss.
This is not philosophy.
It's not a metaphor.
It is your essence.
It is your true nature.
And right now,
Even as thoughts dance across your awareness,
Even as emotions pulse,
There's a deeper space within you that remains unchanged,
Like the sky behind the clouds,
Like the still flame in your heart that flickers behind your ribs.
And when we touch that space again and again and again,
We step out of doing,
Out of thinking,
Out of becoming,
And we begin being.
We return to the centerless center,
The boundless vastness,
The sacred spaciousness that is pure,
Unbounded consciousness.
And from that space,
All healing flows,
All forgiveness arises,
All love becomes possible.
This is the paradox of true spirituality.
You do not need to become anything.
You simply need to remember who and what you've always been,
Still,
Infinite,
Awake.
This is what the ancient yogis discovered in caves,
What the sages touched in silence,
What the mystics felt in prayer,
And what your own heart knows in its deepest,
Most quiet truth,
That you are not the thought,
Not the breath.
You are the awareness in which all these things arise and dissolve.
So as we now move into our meditation,
Let us release our grip on identity.
Let us shed the costume,
Loosen the storyline,
And allow them to softly,
Innocently,
Effortlessly drop away.
Let us abide in the soft light of presence,
In the still waters of awareness,
In the oneness of spirit.
So in the ancient teachings,
The vibration,
Sat,
Cit,
Ananda,
Sat is truth,
Cit is consciousness or knowingness,
Ananda is bliss.
If we can have that weave through us as we move through life,
Knowing that we are truth,
Consciousness,
And bliss,
Resting inside this flesh casing,
Then no matter what unfolds in life,
We can return.
There are many ways to access sat,
Cit,
Ananda,
Truth,
Knowingness,
And bliss.
And today,
Right here,
Right now,
Journey with me and allow me to guide you back home.
So let's begin.
Right now you are being held and lovingly supported in the sacred shelter of the universe.
And let your body settle deeper into the surface beneath you,
Like a stone sinking to the bottom of a still lake,
Gently.
And take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Allowing your eyelids to ever so gently float closed.
And release that breath as you drift into the sacred space of your heart.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through our nose.
And exhale slowly through your mouth.
A breath of release.
A breath of release.
Let's do that a little bit more.
Inhale,
Calm.
Exhale,
Surrender.
Inhale,
Softening.
And exhale anything that's weighing on you right now.
Let the breath begin to breathe you.
Let the wave.
And ever so gently,
Bring your awareness to the top of your head.
And imagine a soft wave of quiet light pouring down,
Melting into your heart.
Melting into your scalp,
Your forehead,
Your eyes.
Let the light settle behind your eyes,
Like moonlight.
And feel your cheeks relax.
Feel your jaw unclench.
And ever so gently,
Rest your tongue in that space right above your two front teeth.
That's called fire point.
This simple step will relax all the muscles in your face,
Your jaw,
Your neck,
And your shoulders.
And notice a sense of ease that's flowing in and through you,
Down into your neck,
Your shoulders.
Feel them soften under the touch of grace.
And just allow this gentle energy to drift through your arms,
Flowing like warm honey into your hands,
Your fingers,
Where everything becomes placid and still.
And notice your chest rising and falling with no effort,
Just breath.
Feel your heart bathed in peaceful,
Tender warmth.
A sacred quiet lives here,
And it's welcoming you home.
Let that comfort now ripple through your torso,
Down your belly,
Into your hips,
Your legs,
And finally into your feet,
Grounded,
Soft.
And now imagine that with every breath,
You're floating in a vast,
Endless ocean.
Made not of water,
But of silence,
Of soundlessness,
Of spirit itself.
There's no edge,
No boundary,
No name,
Only presence.
And as you breathe,
You notice you are no longer the body,
No breath of the universe.
You are the spacious sky.
You are the stillness between the stars.
And with every inhale,
Feel yourself dissolving.
And with every exhale,
Feel yourself merging.
Dissolving into calm.
Merging into soft,
Silent peace.
Dissolving into stillness.
Merging.
Merging into serene awareness.
There is no longer a you that's breathing.
There is only breath.
You that's listening.
There is only silence.
There is no longer a you that's meditating.
There's only spirit.
At ease.
Pure.
And just float here with me.
Let the waves of bliss rock you,
Gently.
Let the tide of soothing silence carry you.
Let's float.
Sit gently with your eyes closed and let the stillness and silence settle in.
And feel your intention still pulsing in your heart.
The intention of being fully present.
Feel the healing you've invited.
Feel the safety you've created.
And ever so gently,
Rest your hands on your tender heart.
And lovingly whisper these words.
I am truth.
I am pure,
Unbounded consciousness.
I am Sat,
Chit,
Ananda.
Take another long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And allow your eyes to open.
Feel the room that you're in returning.
And feel yourself relaxed,
Peaceful,
And profoundly free.
From the sweet spot of the universe,
This is davidji wishing you a magnificent day.
Keep meditating and I'll see you in the gap.
Namaste.
Www.
Davidji.
