Hello dear one,
This is davidji and welcome to today's meditation.
Before we soften into our practice,
Let's reflect together for just a few moments on the nature of emotion and the sacred art of liberation.
Emotions are energy in motion,
E-motions,
Rising and falling like tides within us.
They are not who we are,
They are not permanent,
They are sacred visitors,
Here to show us what is alive inside,
What longs to be seen,
Felt,
Held,
And finally set free.
But often we grip these emotions,
We wrap stories around them,
We bury them or replay them endlessly,
And over time we forget that we have a choice,
A choice to breathe,
To feel,
To witness without attaching,
To release without losing ourselves.
Emotional freedom is not the absence of feeling,
It is the art of allowing everything to flow through you without clinging,
Without resisting,
Without drowning.
It is the ability to stay in the center of the storm and remember that you are the sky,
Not the weather.
In the ancient teachings of Vedanta and Yoga,
This liberation is known as moksha,
Moksha,
Freedom from the binding of thoughts and emotions,
A state of inner release,
Of peace that is not dependent on what's happening around you.
The sacred mantra that we'll use today is Aum Moksha Hritham,
Aum Moksha Hritham.
Say it out loud with me one time,
Aum Moksha Hritham.
It's an invocation of that freedom,
That flow,
That return to your truth.
Aum is the universal vibration,
The seed of all sound,
The sound of creation.
And moksha is liberation,
The unshackling of the heart,
Pure emotional freedom.
And Hritham,
The rhythm of existence,
The heartbeat of the universe,
Reminds us that everything,
Even pain,
Has its place.
Everything,
Even grief,
Can move through you with grace.
And when we silently repeat this mantra,
Aum Moksha Hritham,
We open the doors to healing.
We invite our nervous system to soften.
We tell the trapped emotion,
You are safe now,
You may go.
And so we breathe,
And we let go.
Not to escape our feelings,
But to create space around them,
To see them as they are.
Waves,
Not walls.
Messengers,
Not masters.
Today we do not resist.
We do not cling.
We do not judge.
We simply allow.
We soften.
We breathe.
We become the spacious sky.
And slowly,
Breath by breath,
We remember that we are already free.
So let's meditate.
Together,
Let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And ever so gently,
Let that go.
Allow yourself to gently settle in.
Feather your nest.
Remember,
Comfort is queen.
Always keep moving towards comfort throughout your practice.
And remember to make it gentle.
Make it easy.
This practice of yours is a gift.
So let's take another long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And release as you fully surrender.
Let your shoulders drop.
Allow your face to soften.
Fully relax with each breath.
And with our next breath,
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath into your eyes.
Giving your upper lid permission to rest so gently on your lower lid.
And release the breath.
And let's breathe one more time.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
Into that gentle space between our upper lid and our lower lid.
Feel the softening come into you.
And begin now to feel yourself arriving.
Gradually,
Calmly,
As if you're stepping barefoot into a placid stream,
Where the breeze moves slowly and everything speaks in whispers.
Right now,
Allow your breath to become a sacred companion.
Not something you control,
But something you follow gently.
Like a ribbon of light drawing you inward.
Next breath,
Silently begin to repeat.
Om.
And feel this mantra like a soft vibration across your chest as you inhale.
Om.
Let the vibration ripple inward.
Soundlessly,
Like light slipping through silk.
Allowing the mantra to ride your breath.
You are slowly,
Peacefully stepping into a soothing river of release.
Each breath dissolves your armor.
Each exhale carries some weight away.
And you don't need to know where it goes.
Simply trust that it is no longer yours to hold.
And continue to let the breath carry you like a leaf floating gracefully downstream.
With quiet surrender.
Let your spine lengthen effortlessly.
And let your belly soften without needing to try.
Let your jaw hang with a comfortable looseness.
Feel how easy it becomes to simply be.
And now drift your awareness to your heart.
And imagine this space as a door slowly opening.
And behind it,
A field of light.
Warm,
Soothing,
Radiant light.
Still.
In the space of simply being,
Let the mantra rise again.
Om.
And know that embedded in this mantra is a blessing for you.
I am free.
I am whole.
At each repetition,
Notice that your inner landscape is becoming more relaxed.
Quieting.
Opening.
You are not the fear.
You are the space around it.
And the longer you rest in this space,
The more everything begins to shift.
Now breathe into your belly.
Let it rise with easy grace.
And surrender back out as you effortlessly heal.
Feel your heart getting lighter and lighter.
Your river of emotion once dammed up now flows calmly again.
Flowing as it was always meant to.
You are being soothed from within.
So let yourself rest here in this blissful unfolding.
The waters are warm.
The sky is wide.
The wind is still.
And let's begin silently repeating over and over.
I'll watch the time.
And when you hear me ring the chime,
Just sit gently with your eyes closed.
So let's begin.
Allowing the stillness and silence to settle in.
And now,
Dear one,
Let's begin our gentle return.
Emerging slowly,
Peacefully,
With soft awareness.
Notice your breath again.
As a friend.
Feel me as a vessel of grace.
Feel your presence as a quiet miracle.
And bring one hand to your heart and one to your belly.
Feel free to ever so gently open your eyes as if waking from a sacred dream.
The world is still here.
But now you are different.
You are relieved.
And as you walk throughout the world today,
Anytime you notice any emotion that's bubbling up inside of you,
Allow it.
From the sweet spot of the universe,
This is davidji wishing you a beautiful day of liberation.
Keep meditating,
And I'll see you in the gap.
Namaste.
