Hello,

This is davidji and welcome to today's meditation on moving from resistance into freedom.

From your most constricted self to your most glorious expression.

From warrior to warrior.

Wherever you are on that spectrum right now,

Let's see if we can replace the voice in our head that tells us we can't,

The voice of lack,

The voice of second guessing,

The voice of not trusting,

The voice of fear,

The voice of disappointment,

Let's see if we can simply replace that with the voice of yes,

The voice of yes I can,

The voice of I trust,

The voice of let me give it a shot,

The voice of if not me,

Who?

And if not now,

When?

Let's fill ourselves with nourishment and empty what does not add value.

So first let's settle in.

Remember that comfort is queen.

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down,

Gently feather your nest,

Always keep moving towards comfort.

Why?

Because if you're comfortable you come back to your meditation and if you're not comfortable,

Maybe you won't.

So let's create an environment that we're always happy and gleeful to come back to where we always see meditation as a gift rather than a chore.

A place that's safe.

A place that's nourishing.

A place where we can be in comfort.

So feel free to look around,

Drink in your surroundings right here.

See the floor beneath your feet,

Feel that support on your back.

Feel the seat beneath you.

Now,

You are being held in the sacred shelter of the universe.

Breathe in that safety right now and release it and feel the security you crave.

Together,

Let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and ever so gently let that go.

Let's do that one more time and allow your eyelids to gently float closed.

See how softly you can rest your upper lid on your lower lid right now.

Feel yourself in that softness and continue to watch your breath,

Continue to witness your breathing as you inhale and as you exhale.

There's no need to force.

There's no need to concentrate.

This is that moment to fully relax.

Maybe you have something heavy on your heart.

Maybe something's weighing on your mind.

That's why we're here right now.

We have come together right now,

You and I,

To heal.

We'll take the time right now to release what no longer serves you and find some relief as we journey together.

Notice that your mind is calming just a bit right here.

There's nowhere else to be,

There's nothing else to do except to be right here right now in this sacred,

Precious,

Present moment.

See if you can give yourself permission right here to simply witness,

To observe,

To watch as your chest rises and falls with your inhale and exhale.

Allow your shoulders to drop in this moment.

You can time it with an exhale.

And as you breathe in now,

Feel that breath move into your heart.

And as you exhale,

Feel tension leave any constricted part of your body.

Maybe there's some tension in your temples,

Maybe a tightness in your throat,

Maybe a sensation in your heart.

Maybe there's a knot in your belly.

Wherever you feel a physical constriction right now,

Now drift your attention to it and take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath into it.

And ever so gently let that go.

Sometimes when we are in the midst of a crisis or a conflict,

Or when we're struggling in some way,

We can feel like that moment will go on for eternity.

But that's not the case.

And the secret lies in the ancient mantra of King Solomon,

Who spoke the immortal words,

This too shall pass.

And sometimes we need a reset to snap us out of that mindset.

Essentially a re-mind.

So if you were looking for a reminder,

Looking for a sign to shift your awareness,

This is it.

So as you continue to watch your breath flow into you,

As you continue to feel the release come from your exhale,

Maybe you can place your fingertips,

Your hand,

Or your palm on that part of you that feels anxious,

Constricted,

Tight,

Heavy,

Worrying,

Filled with uncertainty or overwhelm,

Or just plain stress.

And keep breathing as I guide you here.

Keep watching your breath.

Keep witnessing.

And just receive my words as you feel your feels.

Let's find that place in the body where you are resisting,

And just keep breathing into it,

Allowing it to open,

Allowing it to receive the healing.

A lot of times our suffering is caused by us resisting.

Resisting what is,

Resisting what might come,

Resisting a repeat of the past.

But if we can shift from resisting to allowing,

Accepting,

Receiving this moment,

And suddenly there's nothing in the way.

Suddenly we feel that release,

We feel that relief,

And we notice the calm.

And just about now,

Perhaps that swirl outside of you and inside of you is slowing down just a bit,

Just a bit.

And let's come back to our breath.

Just watching it,

Not doing or trying,

Just breathing and witnessing.

And let's ask ourselves a few sacred questions here.

First,

Let's ask,

What am I grateful for?

What am I grateful for?

Who are the people?

Who are the beings?

What are the situations and circumstances for which I'm truly grateful?

What's all that stuff in my life that I'm grateful for?

And just allow your gratitude list to unfold right here.

And next,

Let's ask,

What am I resisting right now?

Here I am in this sacred,

Precious,

Present moment of infinite possibilities.

What am I resisting?

Am I holding on to certainty?

Am I holding on to taking something personally?

Am I holding on to a certain moment from the past or an expectation of the future?

Can you see it as a blockage?

Can you see it as an obstacle on the path?

To your emotional freedom?

Can you begin to give yourself permission to loosen your grip?

That's where our freedom begins.

Simply giving ourselves permission to loosen our grip.

If you fully let go,

Then your palms are open and you can receive all the magnificent gifts of the universe.

But as long as you're holding on,

Nothing new can enter.

So let's take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath into our heart and as we exhale,

See if we can begin the release process.

Exhaling out what's weighing us down.

Elizabeth Winkler refers to this concept as moving from prison to prism,

The prison of the mind,

The prison of the heart,

The prison of our body.

Shifting and expanding,

Allowing and accepting.

A new way,

A new world.

And stepping from these prisons into this multi-dimensional prism of elevated awareness,

Healing,

And peace.

See that blockage,

That obstacle of resistance and wherever it resides inside of you,

Breathe into it.

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and release it as we exhale.

Let's do that one more time.

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in and release.

And now that we've loosened our grip,

We're giving ourselves permission to loosen our grip.

We're fully released.

Let's invite in Moksha,

M-O-K-S-H-A,

Moksha,

Liberation,

Emotional freedom.

Let's breathe it into our heart and flow it back out into the world.

Again,

Let's breathe it into our heart.

And feel it ripple throughout every fiber of our being.

Let's breathe that Moksha,

That freedom into our heart.

And allow it to fill every crevice,

Every nook and cranny of your heart as you let that breath go.

And now,

Simply keep breathing,

Keep allowing.

Feel free to use either of these two mantras,

Either OM,

Moksha,

Or Ritam.

OM is the universal vibration.

Moksha is that liberation.

And Ritam is the rhythm of the universe.

When we use that mantra,

We align our heart with the heartbeat of the universe,

Providing us comfort and protection.

We can step into our true warrior nature.

The other mantra we can use is,

This too shall pass.

This too shall pass.

Reminding ourselves of the impermanence of all existence,

Wherever you are right now,

Whether you're at the top of the mountain or the bottom of the valley,

This too shall pass.

Whether you're at the crossroads or a fork in the road,

This too shall pass.

Whether you are in agony or ecstasy,

This too shall pass.

This is the ancient mantra of King Solomon,

Who pronounced it in Hebrew as Gam Zeh Ya'avor.

Gam Zeh Ya'avor.

So you've got lots of options right here.

OM Moksha Ritam,

This too shall pass.

Gam Zeh Ya'avor.

Don't worry about the meanings.

The meanings are embedded in the vibrations.

And let's just sit in this space just for a few moments and silently repeat the mantra that resonates most with you right now,

To bring you some liberation,

To gift you some freedom,

To allow you to celebrate this sacred,

Precious present moment,

And truly shift yourself from where you are to where you'd like to be.

Shifting your heart,

Your sweet,

Tender heart,

To a place of resilience,

Getting back up and embracing what is.

Stepping beyond your constrictions,

Stepping beyond anything that holds you back,

Stepping into your new space of freedom,

Of clarity,

And of peace.

Select your mantra,

Either OM Moksha Ritam,

Or this too shall pass,

Or Gam Zeh Ya'avor.

All different expressions of I am free.

I'll watch the time,

And when you hear me ring the chime,

Just sit gently with your eyes closed.

So let's begin.

And take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in right here.

And ever so gently let that go.

And let's do that again.

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

And ever so gently release.

Begin to wiggle your fingers,

Wiggle your toes.

Feel free right now to give your heart a sweet massage or hug.

And when it feels comfortable,

You can open your eyes.

And this can be the beginning of this magnificent trajectory,

The end of suffering and the beginning of freedom.
