Hello,
This is davidji and welcome to the daily insight.
Let's find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Let's gently feather our nest.
Let's allow ourselves to truly settle in.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
Get as comfortable as possible.
And together let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And gently let that go.
Let's do that one more time,
Truly allowing ourselves to relax on the exhale.
And now just watch your breath as it flows in.
And watch it as it flows back out.
Just witnessing it.
Just watching.
Simply observing.
There's nowhere else to be.
There's nothing else to do except to be right here,
Right now,
In this sacred,
Precious,
Present moment.
Notice that your mind is calming.
Notice that your body is relaxing.
Notice that with each breath,
That swirl outside of you and inside of you is slowing down.
So just allow it.
Just surrender.
And keep witnessing your breath.
We're going to explore the space inside of you.
The space between your thoughts.
The space between your breaths.
Space between your words.
The space between your actions.
In the ancient teachings of Ayurveda,
There are five master elements.
Space,
Air,
Fire,
Water,
And earth.
Space,
Known in Sanskrit as Akasha,
Is the starting point for all existence.
In the beginning,
There was just space.
Every cell in your body is made up of 99% space.
Every atom on the planet,
99% space.
You are space.
You're not your thoughts.
You're not your mind.
You're not your body.
You are the space.
And that space is the birthplace of all your creativity,
Of all your dreams and desires,
Of everything you manifest and everything that unfolds as you move through the world.
And connecting to that space allows you to come from a place of pure,
Infinite possibilities.
So let's go to that space right now.
Let's connect to that space between your thoughts,
Your breaths,
Between all activity,
That stillness that rests within.
Let's begin by asking ourselves a few sacred questions.
Let's ask,
Who am I?
Who am I?
And simply keep asking that question over and over and over.
Who am I?
Who am I?
Allow answers to flow.
And keep asking the question over and over.
Now is the perfect time to begin your dialogue with the universe.
Who am I?
Who am I?
And next let's ask,
What does my heart truly long for?
What does my heart truly long for?
And again,
Simply ask that question over and over and over again.
What does my heart truly long for?
And whatever answers have bubbled up from these questions now invite an intention into your awareness.
That intention can be a state of being,
Some trait or characteristic you'd like to embody today.
You'd like to inhabit today,
Just today.
Would you like to have more of a particular aspect of your being elevated today?
Or perhaps less of something else?
What is that state you'd like to inhabit?
Just for today.
An intention can also be a step,
A step that moves you closer to the fulfillment of your dreams and desires.
Just one step.
It can be a small step where you just lean a little bit,
Or the big kahuna of all intentions where you take a giant step in the direction of your dream.
Allow that intention to simply bubble up.
And if two intentions are vying for your attention,
Just allow one to rise to the top.
Allow it to clarify.
Allow it to crystallize.
And when you're clear,
Now invite that intention into your sweet,
Tender heart.
Feel it merge with your being.
Feel it settle into your very essence.
And now raise your chest up,
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath and plant that intention so deep in the fertile soil of your heart.
Let the universe ever so gently kiss your soul and bless that intention and let it go.
We'll leave it up to the universe to answer.
We'll leave it up to spirit to sort out all those details.
And we'll take it deeper now.
We'll use the ancient mantra OM AKASHA RITAM.
OM is the universal vibration.
AKASHA is space.
Pure potentiality,
Infinite possibilities.
And RITAM is the rhythm of the universe.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And as we repeat this mantra silently to ourselves,
That space within merges with the space without.
And suddenly,
Our wholeness unfolds in every moment.
Allow this to be the seed of every thought,
Word,
And action as you move throughout the day.
Let's say it out loud one time.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And I'll begin silently repeating it to yourself.
As you repeat it,
It may get louder or fainter,
Faster or slower.
It may become jumbled or distorted.
That's okay.
The purpose of a mantra is simply to be the object of your attention.
As soon as you realize you've drifted away,
Come back to OM AKASHA RITAM.
I'll watch the time.
And when you hear me ring the chime,
Just sit gently with your eyes closed.
And let's begin.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And now let's whisper it.
OM AKASHA RITAM.
And when it feels comfortable,
You can slowly open your eyes.
You can look around at those you share this collective consciousness with.
Take some time coming back into your body and let's flow today with space.
AKASHA.
Infinite possibilities in every moment.
From the sweet spot of the universe,
This is David G.
Keep meditating and I'll see you in the gap.
