Hello this is davidji and welcome to today's cat nap.
Actually this will be a kitten nap.
A short but very powerful kind of nap that's going to help you clear your brain fog.
It's going to start restoring you in your body and your mind.
Rejuvenate yourself and add some deeper rest to your sleep later on tonight.
One of the most important aspects of the cat nap is to remember that comfort is queen.
So let's settle in.
Gently feather your nest even though we'll just be here for a little bit.
You need to be as comfortable as possible and always keep moving towards comfort.
And as you settle in see if you can reach up to the sky right here as you take a long slow deep breath in and let that go.
And now take a long slow deep breath in and stretch your arms your hands out to the sides as wide as you can stretch and let that go.
And now place your hands on your heart with a long slow deep breath in and release that.
Allow your hands to stay resting on your heart or in your lap on your thighs or by your side.
Allow your eyelids to ever so gently float closed.
And right here,
Right now,
Let's breathe into that space between our upper lid resting on our lower lid.
Don't alter your breath,
Simply breathe and witness.
And notice how soft that connection is.
It might be the softest connection in your entire body.
You breathe in to that soft space and as you exhale allow that softness to permeate your eyes.
Feel the softening of your eyes and breathe into that soft space where your upper lid is so gently resting on your lower lid.
And as you exhale feel that softness permeate into your temples.
You're getting softer and with each breath you connect to that softness and radiate it throughout the rest of your face.
And as you exhale feel your cheeks soften.
Breathe into your eyes and notice that the back of your head is softening.
Feel the softness between your upper lid resting on your lower lid.
And as you exhale feel your whole face begin to soften.
And simply notice the soft connection between your upper lid resting ever so gently on your lower lid.
And witness that tenderness radiating throughout your entire head,
Soothing you,
Calming you,
Relaxing you,
Even moving down the back of your neck.
And feel your neck softening.
And notice that this softness has become you as we take our kitten nap.
Simply breathe right here.
Witness the softness in our eyelids and feel that softness be infused through every aspect of your being.
You might want to take a long slow deep breath in right here.
Feel the softening in your eyes and as you exhale move that softening to your heart,
Lightening your load,
Easing any burden.
And we're just going to rest in this space.
And if your mind begins to wander,
Breathe into your eyes,
Feel that softness and allow it to flow throughout the rest of your body.
Don't try,
Don't force,
Don't even concentrate.
Simply allow the breath and that soft connection of your eyelids to take you into this safe,
Healing rejuvenation.
We'll stay here together and I'll ring the chime when nap time is over.
So keep breathing and let's begin.
And welcome back.

Reach up to the sky and stretch.
And let that breath go.
Again one more time,
Long slow deep breath in.
Reach out to the sides as wide as you can and release that breath.
And again,
Place your fingertips or your hand or your palms on your heart.
Long slow deep breath in and let that breath go.
Simply by connecting to the softness that rests between your upper lid and your lower lid can help you truly enter that kitten nap state of healing and restoration,
Leaving you relaxed and playful.
You'll notice that your brain fog has cleared a bit.
Whatever anxiety or tension in your body that was there prior to our nap has lifted.
And allow this space,
Allow this rejuvenation,
Allow this healing to follow you throughout the rest of your day.
