Life is happening.
Look at the complete harmony of the world around us.
Trees grow and sprout exactly where they're supposed to,
Exactly when they are supposed to.
Different trees grow at different elevations,
Exactly in accordance to the needs of each tree.
Mushrooms grow under moist conditions,
And succulents grow in dry conditions.
Tides come and go according to the winds and the moon.
The earth turns without any effort,
Constantly and perfectly,
And the sun radiates warmth.
Not only are these things happening,
But they are complete and perfect happenings.
There's no such thing as an incomplete rotation of the earth.
There's no such thing as an incomplete flower or clover.
These things happen in the absence of self-will,
Without our control,
Without any agenda or the manipulation of circumstances to meet favorable conditions.
Life happens around us perfectly and without our control.
The same is true of our bodies.
This body is happening perfectly.
Blood flows exactly where it is needed,
Exactly when it is needed.
The lungs transport oxygen exactly where it is needed.
The complex chemical regulation of the body happens without our control.
Cellular replication,
Hair formation,
Digestion,
And all of the senses of the body work perfectly.
Life is happening.
Life happens perfectly.
And life is happening right now.
Let's now turn our attention to the breath.
This breath is happening.
This breath is happening perfectly.
This breath happens without my control.
When I tune into my body and I tune into my breath,
I become aware of what is already happening without any intervention on my part.
I feel the body naturally feeding itself with oxygen exactly as it is needed.
Life is happening right here and right now.
Life presents itself without any form of self-will,
Manipulation,
Or control.
Wherever we are,
If the ability to hear these words is present,
Then life is happening.
If we lose touch with this completeness and fall prey to the illusion of self-will,
All we need to do is remind ourselves of the natural world,
To look at a body of water and see the undulating surface of the water as something that happens perfectly,
Completely,
And in the present.
We must feel the wind on ourselves and feel that the temperature of the wind and the speed of the wind is perfect,
And that the birds in the water are floating perfectly,
And that we ourselves and our body is operating perfectly.
When the mind attempts to pull us out of this perfection,
All we need to do is remind ourselves of what is already there.
As you transition back into your day,
See if you can catch yourself being pulled into the belief that there is a sense of void or perceived incompleteness,
Which may take the form of irritation,
Stress,
Worry,
Or sluggishness.
In that moment,
We can catch ourselves,
And graciously acknowledge the arisen thought form,
And proceed to dismiss it and remind ourselves that we belong to the same universe as the perfect trees,
The perfect water,
And the perfect sun,
And that this sense of void is nothing more than a clinging ego which wants to assert its self-will and refuses our submission to remain as part of the natural perfect world.
Whenever you're ready,
You may choose to open your eyes and resume your day.
