I'm Dave Harding.
This is a guided meditation for deep relaxation.
To simply find a place where you can be comfortable and nice and relaxed where you can even close your eyes.
Certainly not while driving.
So for the next 10 minutes you can just get deeply relaxed.
As we begin to simply close your eyes and be aware of your breathing.
Every breath you take.
So that with every breath in you're aware of the air and oxygen.
With every breath out.
Just simply letting go of any stress or tension that might be there.
You may begin to notice that each breath can become more relaxing than the breath before that.
And as you notice the breathing becoming more relaxing.
Just allow yourself to breathe even deeper now.
So that every breath in is becoming deeper and deeper still.
Can you breathe out?
Just simply letting go of any stress or tension that might be there.
And of course there's another way of breathing.
And that's where you breathe deep into the diaphragm.
And that type of breathing it's more like your tummy's going up and down with your breathing instead of your chest.
It's a deeper type of breathing.
And as you continue to breathe deeper into the diaphragm.
Just simply breathe in through your heart.
As you continue to focus on your breathing.
Be aware of all the sounds inside,
Outside.
Perhaps you're aware of the sound of your heart beating.
Perhaps you're aware of the sound of your breathing.
The sound of the music,
The sounds within the sounds of the music.
Sounds outside.
Traffic,
The weather,
Other people.
Certainly the sound of my voice.
Just allow each and every sound to help you relax.
So you become more and more relaxed with every sound,
With every breath.
As you continue to focus on your breathing.
I'd like you to be aware that you're in complete control of your own conscious now.
And I'd like you to begin to use that control just by simply asking your own conscious to begin to relax all the muscles in your body.
Just beginning with the muscles on the top of your head and your forehead and your eyebrows.
Just relaxing just those muscles a little bit more.
And then the muscles in the eyes and around the eyes and even the tiny muscles behind the eyes.
Just simply relaxing just those muscles a little bit more.
And then the muscles in the nose,
Cheeks,
Lips and mouth.
The jawline and following the jaw all the way around to the ears and the back of the head.
Just relaxing just those muscles a little bit more.
And then the muscles in the neck and shoulders,
All the fibres and tendons.
And if it helps to gently shrug your shoulders to loosen the muscles a little bit more then feel free to do that too.
And notice the relaxation as it begins to flow down your arms,
Past the elbows to the forearms and wrists into the hands and each and every finger all the way down to the tips of the fingers.
Just simply relaxing just those muscles a little bit more.
And then the relaxation can move into your body now including your chest,
Stomach,
Back and spine.
All the internal organs,
All the internal workings.
Just relaxing just that little bit more.
And if you like you can simply ask your unconscious to slow your heartbeat down just a little bit.
Just by asking your unconscious to slow your heartbeat down just a little bit.
And then the relaxation can move down through your buttocks to your legs,
Past the knees,
Down into the shins and calves,
Through the ankles,
Down to your feet and each and every toe.
All the way down through the tips of your toes.
It can be like a wave of relaxation that starts at the top of your head or just above your head as it washes through your entire being.
Wave after wave of relaxation.
Each muscle more relaxed,
Each sound more relaxed,
Each breath more relaxed.
It can even allow you to feel more relaxed than you felt in quite some time.
Just simply allowing yourself to be aware of your relaxation.
To be aware of the muscles just relaxing just that little bit more.
All the muscles in your being just simply relaxing.
All the breathing just allowing you to relax.
All the sounds just allowing you to relax.
Each and every breath.
And you can continue to relax or just simply open your eyes now.
And be aware that relaxation can be this easy even just thinking about being so relaxed now or relaxed now.
Being able to continue on with your day,
Feeling relaxed,
Happy,
Backward and Çhh.
