Good morning.

Welcome to this morning gratitude meditation.

If you're starting your day with this meditation,

Then you're already doing really great,

So good job.

Give yourself a deep breath,

And with your eyes open or closed,

Bring your hands to your heart,

And just hold here.

Say hello to your heart,

And really feel around this space with your fingertips.

How does your heart feel?

Sometimes we wake up and we immediately start thinking of all the things we need to do,

But let's take a moment here and just notice.

How do you feel?

As you feel around this space,

You might feel tender spots or hard spots.

We're just noticing,

We're not trying to fix or change anything.

Be gentle with yourself,

And thank your heart for bringing you here today.

When we sleep,

We bring in new information.

We might receive healings.

We might wake up with some emotions that are held over from dreams that we had.

Just notice if you're feeling any of that,

And have gratitude for the sleep that you had,

And anything new that you learned.

Go ahead and rest your hands in your lap.

You can keep your eyes open or close them,

And take a big deep breath into your belly.

Really expand the abdomen,

Creating lots of space.

As you exhale,

Give yourself a big sigh,

Make some noise.

With the next breath,

Expand again,

Even bigger,

Even more space,

Filling up the lungs and the belly,

And a big sigh out.

One more time,

Breathing in,

Making yourself real big,

And then squeeze it out.

Big sigh.

Great job.

On your next breath,

Imagine you're breathing in a bright,

Shiny,

Gold energy.

And that gold goes directly to any part of your body that needs it.

Where do you feel that gold going?

And allow yourself to receive a healing there.

With each breath,

You breathe in more of this gold energy,

And you receive a healing.

Have gratitude for that healing energy that you're giving to yourself.

Going to read some affirmations.

You can listen or repeat them to yourself silently or aloud.

I'm thankful for my body,

Mind,

And spirit.

I'm thankful for this earth and all the ways it supports me.

I'm thankful for my loved ones and for the many ways I am loved by them.

I'm thankful for the gift of today,

Whatever it brings.

I'm thankful for the challenges I face and everything they teach me.

And I'll let you continue with three more things that you're thankful for.

Take a deep breath.

Feel that gold energy still doing its healing work in your body,

In your heart.

If there's anything else you'd like to express gratitude for,

You can do so.

And you can stay in this meditation as long as it feels good.

I hope you have a great day and that something really special happens.

Take good care of yourself.
