Good morning and welcome to The Artist's Morning.
My name is Darius.
I'm so grateful you and I get this time together.
Our practice today will be an exploration of unconditional love.
It's one part meditation,
One part guided visualization,
A reminder that you can't get this wrong.
Your brain might try to tell you you're not doing it right.
You're not seeing the visualization the right way.
It might try to distract you,
And that's okay.
Just let it be.
I promise you can't mess this up.
We are playing this morning.
This is intended to be enjoyable and fun,
So get that serious stuff out of here and let's go on a journey together.
Let's begin.
If your eyes are open,
Let's close them now and go inwards together,
Connecting with your breath,
Beginning to take longer,
Deeper breaths,
Really just slowing everything down,
Giving yourself a chance to really arrive in this moment,
In this seat,
In your body,
In the break between songs here,
To connect our breath to our heart.
Breathing into your heart now,
Breathing in and letting it go.
Thank you,
Beautiful heart.
Thank you for always being here for us.
I want you to imagine we are at the edge of a cave.
We are walking out of this beautiful cave and into this private,
Beautiful forest area with a gentle waterfall falling from what seems like the sky,
Lush greens everywhere.
Just falling into this pond,
Almost like a cove,
This magical place that looks like it must be a part of heaven.
The weather is just so perfect.
You can hear the birds singing.
There's a gentle breeze and it's just us,
It's just you.
There's nobody else here.
This place,
This is the fountain of love.
This water is incredibly blessed and magical.
It clears,
It cleanses away any energy that stands opposed to unconditional love.
Any energy that is blocking you from receiving unconditional love.
It's not forceful,
It's so softly cleanses and clears the way for any energy that is not yours.
Any shame energy,
Any embarrassment energy,
Any I don't belong energy,
Any what would they think energy,
Just clears it away and it reminds you of who you've always been.
It reminds you of how worthy,
How infinitely worthy of love you have always been.
Now as we step out of this cave and step inch by inch closer to this magical body of water,
This fountain of love,
We can start to feel the little sprinkles of water from this gentle waterfall in front of us.
It's our skin.
Can you feel it against your face,
This mist?
Now if you are open to it,
The opportunity in front of us this morning is to step into this body of water.
You don't need to,
There is much you can get by just standing at the edge and letting this mist hit your body.
That in itself has a cleansing,
Clearing element and if you are interested,
You can step deeper and clear more.
Before I invite you to step in,
If that's what you're open to this morning,
I want you to take a moment to check in if there are any parts of your body that don't normally get celebrated.
Any parts that remain hidden or masked,
Scan from your feet all the way up to your head.
Is there a holding?
Is there a bracing?
Is there a looking down?
Is there a sucking in?
And if so,
Can you soften?
Is there a part of your body that holds a little bit of shame,
A little bit of embarrassment?
Is there a part of your heart,
Your feelings that don't have a chance to receive love,
To be seen in this world?
Maybe you care a lot and you hold that back.
Maybe there's joy,
Maybe there's sadness,
Maybe there's rage,
Maybe there's love.
There's no right or wrong answer,
Just checking into your heart space,
Your feelings.
Is there any part of you that's ready to be seen a little bit more,
Ready to be loved a little bit more?
Is there any part of your voice that seems muted?
Is there any part of your voice,
Of your truth,
That seems hidden,
That is ready to step into the light,
Into the sun,
Into this beautiful body of water?
Any parts of your eyes,
Any visions you have,
Any things you can see through your eyes,
With your imagination,
Any parts that don't have a chance,
Haven't had much of an opportunity to be shared with the world?
Once again,
You are allowed to just stand at the edge of this water and let the mist gently clear and cleanse.
You are interested.
We can step into this water,
If you're open to that,
Is your opportunity.
If you've chosen to step into the water,
I want you to imagine any residue of embarrassment,
Of shame,
Of not belonging.
You know,
It's almost like sweat on your body.
As we step into this water,
It just washes away.
You can feel something is happening in this water.
When you feel that presence on your skin,
This fountain of love,
Is not only clearing and cleansing,
It is recharging,
Rejuvenating,
Reinvigorating,
Refreshing.
It is filling you up with love.
Are you willing to receive this love?
This unconditional love that is pouring from the skies down this waterfall into this pond?
We have one more song left.
I'm going to mostly stay quiet for this song and let you in this fountain of love interact.
All options are available.
You can sit by the edge.
You can go back into the cave.
You can dive deep into this water and see what's here.
Bravo,
Dear artist.
Bravo,
Dear creator.
Before our meditation comes to an end,
Let's take a moment to share some gratitude for this fountain of love.
Thank you,
Beautiful fountain.
There's a very important part I forgot to tell you.
This fountain,
If you're interested in its location,
I checked,
I did a Google search,
And it's located directly inside your heart.
It's yours.
It's always been yours.
It's always there.
So if you ever are looking for more access to love,
Remember God literally left it right beneath your nose.
It's been there the whole time.
One last reminder here,
Too,
That it can be really hard to love something you can't see.
And for many of us,
We're looking for,
Yes,
Love from ourselves,
And also to experience love in the world,
But if we choose to hide ourselves from the world,
How can the world ever love us?
It's hard to love something you can't see,
And if you're like me and you'd like to experience love from this world,
Maybe it's time you let the world see who you really are.
As always,
For those that are joining live at the artist morning,
I'm going to put 20 minutes on the clock and let us continue exploring this theme of unconditional love.
You're catching us on a replay,
Perhaps on inside timer.
You could do the same.
Take some time on your clock and see what's here,
What's real,
What's accessible through you,
Your pen,
And your journal.
Thanks for meditating with me.
I'm Darius.
I will see you next time.
