This is Daphne Carito.

Please find a comfortable position lying down with your hands and arms beside you or placed on your belly or your heart.

Let's just take some deep,

Releasing breaths here,

All the way in,

Continuing on,

Feeling yourself release any tension.

In continuing to breathe deeply,

Allow your exhalations to stretch and feel your body beginning to relax.

Feel into the energy of your hands.

Feel the energy moving within your arms,

Up into your shoulders,

And witness this energy within without judgment.

Feel into the energy of your heart,

And sense down lower into your belly,

And just witness what's there for you.

Feel into your feet and the tips of your toes,

And begin consciously moving energy through your body.

As you breathe in,

Direct the energy of your breath down into your belly,

And allow yourself to begin belly breathing,

Inhaling deeply into your abdomen,

And exhaling completely and slowly,

And as our minds begin to slow and our bodies begin to relax,

Take a moment to focus on your heart,

Continuing the relaxing,

Deep breathing,

Focusing our energies on our hearts.

Think of something that you are truly grateful for,

A person,

A place,

A time,

And grab a hold of that gratitude.

Feel the abundant energy that it affords your heart,

And allow yourself to pull in more of this gratitude,

As you breathe,

Feeling the stabilization moving through your body.

Allow yourself to release this object of gratitude,

And simply focus on your breathing and the energy within you.

If you haven't already drifted off,

Please know that the idea is for you to do that anytime.

If you are still here with me,

Let us just begin to focus on the very tip of our nose,

And focus on the sensations of air moving past as we inhale,

Staying with our conscious attention on this point as the air moves past into our body,

And feel it being touched by the air once again on your exhalations,

And just stay here on this point as best you can,

Breathing in and out through your nose,

Feeling the air move past,

But staying right here,

In here,

In a deep state of relaxation.

Know that my words are done for now,

But this music will carry you deeper.

Just allow yourself to drift off here,

Into the best night of sleep.

Daphne’s meditations are always excellent and my favorites. I can highly recommend this meditation although it helped me fall asleep so quickly I barely remember what was said. I’m so grateful.
