Hey friend,
This is a recording you can come back to anytime that you're looking for a little bit more comfort and nourishment.
Make yourself comfortable either lying down or seated.
And start with your eyes open.
Take a moment to notice your environment,
Your space.
Can you acknowledge that your physical environment,
Where you're at right now,
There are no threats,
It's a supportive environment for you.
Eventually you can close your eyes and soften your eyelids and open up your ears.
Start to notice if you can pick up on any sounds that are really far away.
Is it possible for you to notice these sounds without placing any judgment on them?
Just giving permission for whatever you can hear.
Now can you place your attention closer towards your body and start picking up on the sounds you can hear,
Like your breath coming in and out from your nose.
Now can you feel your breath coming in?
Can you feel your breath traveling down in your body?
Maybe notice if you can sense your heart beating or any other sensations that are here.
Can you give full permission for whatever sensations that are there,
However deep or shallow your breath is.
Just allow for yourself to be exactly as you are.
Now notice the space that you're creating in your body that allows for breath to come in.
Is it possible for you to create a little bit more space around your belly and around your gut?
Maybe even around your hips and your legs.
So notice how when you make that space you can allow for breath to come down deeper.
I'd like to invite you now to take a really slow breath in your nose,
Trace it all the way down towards your belly and fill up your belly like a balloon.
When you feel it's full,
Hold it there just a moment and then let it go,
Let your belly sink.
Do this one more time.
Breathe in your nose real slow,
Feel your belly fill up,
Hold and then release.
This time breathe in your nose real slow,
Fill your belly up like a big balloon and on your second step imagine opening up your ribs,
Fill the sides of your lungs with air.
Hold it there with your big balloon belly and your side body.
Open and as you exhale you can close up your ribs again,
Kind of like you're closing up a book and let your belly sink down.
Let's do this one more time just like that.
In,
Belly,
Lungs,
Hold and then release.
Close up your ribs again,
Relax your belly.
This time the full three part breath.
Breathe in real slow,
Fill up your belly,
Fill up the sides of your body and then bring your breath up in your chest,
Maybe even up in your throat,
Hold here.
You can just notice your heart beating,
Maybe soften your physical body,
Sip in a little more air if you've got it and then let it go.
And one last time just like that,
Breathe in your nose,
Fill up your belly,
Fill up your lungs,
Up in your chest,
Through your throat,
Hold,
Maybe sip in more air and let it go.
Take a big,
Big breath in,
Biggest breath you've taken all day and clear it out,
Maybe make some noise.
And see if you can connect with your earth element,
Your support.
Notice how your physical body gets to be supported here and lean into that even more.
Allow yourself to soften,
To be held.
Can you drop your consciousness in your heart?
Start to breathe in and out from your heart.
Imagine your heart growing bigger with every breath and softening on your exhales.
Maybe there's a color that starts to grow out of your heart or around your heart.
Allow this color to filter through,
To take up space,
To nourish your heart.
You could imagine this as your own healing powers.
Now if you'd like,
You could allow for this heart healer to move through your body and your mind,
Anywhere it needs to move through today and allow for yourself to receive.
Moving upwards towards your throat and your face and your brain and your head,
Down your neck and your shoulders,
Down your arms and your hands and fingertips,
Down your back and your hips and your glutes,
Down your legs and your feet and your toes.
Moving through all of your organs,
Your digestive system,
Your lungs.
Feel free to stay here as long as you want.
Receive your own nourishment.
Take care.
