This practice is a journey from separation and suffering to emptiness and reconnection. It will guide you through the three divides that cause suffering in the mind, heart and will. Facing these divides and the pain they create instead of escaping and avoiding into pleasant feelings and a better temporary self-image has a profound healing and sustainable transforming effect.

My name is Daniel and I will lead you through this guided healing meditation dealing with the triple divide of human suffering which is the ecological material or physical divide,

The social emotional divide and the spiritual divide.

There will be an introduction and then a time of dealing with each of the three divides and then the closing part which is called the eye of the needle of transformation and all together the required time is about 30 minutes.

Why do we need this guided meditation?

What is it good for?

There are many meditations that give you a better feeling,

A better sense of self and this meditation is different in this way that you don't get a better version of yourself,

You don't get an upgrade,

It doesn't make you feel better,

It goes down in the opposite direction that we usually avoid like where the pain is so it's not an escape,

It's not a compensation,

It's a journey diving down to the roots and causes of suffering and seeing them clearly and by doing this we follow the teachings and the practice of the Buddha that he started with four noble truths so by avoiding the contact with the suffering we cannot see the causes.

We must be in contact in order to understand how is this suffering caused and here by going in into the causes and into our mental,

Psychological,

Physical system we get insight and clarity so this meditation is not only about mindfulness it's also about insight and this insight is inside ourselves and thereby we also have a union with Jesus Christ saying the kingdom of heaven is within so when we direct our attention to another place which is not inside ourselves we cannot find this kingdom and we cannot find the roots of suffering and transform them so this is the purpose of this meditation to go down to the roots guided meditation and journey in three steps having identified that in the mind which we can attribute to the head and in the heart which is attributed to our physical heart and in our stomach or will center we have three obstacles or divides of separation of human separation that each of them creates suffering and usually they interact in combination and stimulating each other so after having taken a comfortable meditation position for the next about 20 minutes we focus our attention on the head where the brain is the source of thoughts and these thoughts are usually busy around this material world the world of matter thinking or to relate to forms human forms non-living forms situations in this world so this is the world of thought and matter and here's the divide that we can see sense in the economy the mind wants something goes into a direction it is disconnected from the physical reality there is a conflict between what we want and what is and this is not only causing an external crisis can also sense and presence in this meditation an internal crisis if we feel inside ourselves what is demanded from us what is expected from us how to behave how to act properly as a consumer as a responsible citizen what kind of feelings does this create positive or negative whatever comes up whatever we face whatever we encounter we intend to have a scientist mind with an objective observation non-judgmental just seeing the intention to understand what is it that we see so when we open up to this ecologically white what do we fear pressure expectation heaviness maybe fear maybe being insufficient not good enough what is it that comes up is it a pain that can I sense it that can I feel it maybe images memories come up whatever comes up there's no right or wrong just observe this is what is triggered by being open to let it come just be with it don't do anything don't react just be with it observe you you you you must be in contact whatever it is you you non-judgmental quantum ass and stay in contact be in contact then let's move to the next divide to the heart so what is the divide that we encounter in our hearts externally it's a social divide our relationships particularly to other human beings maybe feel limitations borders stacks disappointments and internally it's a clinging a craving to positive pleasant feelings emotionally want to feel good about ourselves and whatever serves whoever serves to give to give us a pleasant feeling a positive feeling we like because we build a positive a better sense of self upon that pleasant feeling so something happens someone does something we like it gives us a pleasant feeling we feel better about ourselves there is a divide because it doesn't last pleasant feelings are like bubbles as impermanent as unpleasant feelings just observe we can see their nature is not any different in the negative feelings and just bubbles arising and passing away so they can't give us any stability it's not a good fundament for relationships for relating to the world and it separates the good from the bad which is our social divide judging what is positive we want what is negative we push away we avoid so as much as someone who gives us a positive feeling can turn into our friend someone that creates a negative unpleasant feeling in ourselves even without knowing even without intending can easily turn into our source of anger into our enemy so this social divide is also an emotional divide causing a lot of pain and conflict now when we sense in our heart what comes up what are the relationships affected by our feelings pleasant and unpleasant who comes up in our thoughts feelings images how do we feel this demand where are we stuck how do we experience this suffering we feel it in the body can we sense it just let come so stay present an open heart you what is it that wants to be found seen excepted just be autonomous and stay connected let's move on with the attention the next divide is located belly stomach will be digest will be process and where our will centers not the conscious will the surface level of the mind the intellect where we think our will centers the deeper decisions are made in the will center located in the belly lower belly maybe can clearly sense we don't want something when we are angry the tension the pressure the heat the fire in the belly the cramp in the stomach this is where our will centers here we make our decisions doesn't matter what we intend the level of intellect how we how good we want to be is a divide the spiritual divide we fear the pain actually where we dumped the pain start the pain that we don't want to look at the pain of not being who we are the pain of being separate from our authentic self just playing roles in life roles in society we adapt we comply but maybe not ourselves so here's a feeling sense of loss loss who we are what do we know we are so the spirit can read about it you can hear about it can have a concept about it but what do we really know you're all human beings we are all the same you know a sauce in our essence and that there there's an ocean of opinions out there about who we are actually shows proves that we have forgotten because if you really knew you would agree would be clear to us without any debate or discussion or speculation so this fundamental loss of knowledge who we are is an ignorance we just remember without knowing what happened how this loss happened but what is the result effect is a memory of loss what we are is gone and all the value the qualities the fulfillment of our being of who we are is gone along with the loss the result is we are looking for love we are looking for peace we're looking for joy looking for justice and we don't know where to search we don't know where to find this causes a pain of despair hopelessness helplessness being lost and forgotten in this world being abandoned isolated depressed you don't avoid these feelings you let them exist come up in the belly in the stomach the images the thoughts the pain you can avoid to escape to stay present be with it as it is stay open in the will the intention to explore it only being in contact the pain of the loss can see can experience what it is that we lost it is there behind the pain let's just be with the pain however it feels happiness cramps resistance version sadness fear they all want to protect us from getting too close to the center suffering pretending there would be nothing else but suffering so we never go there we never face it we never verify this assumption what happens when we are just still in the pain what comes up we were And now our entire being,

The mind,

The heart,

The will,

Is open,

Sensitive,

Vulnerable,

In touch with the three divides.

If we just allow ourselves to be with it as it is,

As they are,

Without anything that needs to change,

Anything that needs to happen,

To feel different,

To think different,

To be different,

Full acceptance of how it feels,

Thoughts and images that come up,

Of how we are,

Of how the situation is.

This experience,

We can let go of the expectation,

Something needs to happen,

Something needs to change,

To make us feel better,

To liberate ourselves.

So that we can escape.

So we can retreat from the world,

Retreat from the wanting,

The craving from the clinging.

By being the full suffering,

We can also retreat from the suffering.

By being with everything as it is,

We can be with what we avoid the most,

We can be with nothing,

We can actually be nothing.

Being nothing is the consequence,

The result of the loss that we feel,

And why we cling to almost anything that gives us a sense of self,

Our identity might be horrible even,

Painful.

Still,

We believe it's better than being nothing,

Being no one,

Being nobody.

All this we can let go,

By being with everything,

All the divides,

Whatever comes up.

Being with everything is being with nothing.

This is the eye of the needle of transformation.

For that,

We need to let go of all the past,

Of all what we think about ourselves,

The world,

Except what separated us in our perceptions,

Minds,

Hearts,

And our will,

And our being.

By stepping into this emptiness,

Nothingness,

Being fully blank,

There's something to rediscover,

To be seen,

Something was hidden,

And we thought it was lost.

It will come to you,

Don't do anything,

Just be present,

Aware,

Anonymous,

Let yourself be touched.

Let yourself be guided home.

Here is what we missed,

What we were looking for.

When I come home.

I've just completed this meditation and I'm struggling to put it in to words. It was wonderful and confronting at the same time. I'm coming back to this one to explore things more deeply. It sounds a bit scary at the beginning but it is worthwhile persisting with the meditation. Thank you.

The notion of nothingness is scary. Thank you for this introduction to buddhist ideas and this very needed reflection of ones pain and feelings of uncomfortable. It is hard to stay with those feelings. But this helped me a bit to open to them and let them be. Thanks!

I think this may be a very transformational meditation. I have to listen to it more than once to really take it in I think it might be a good practice.

Truly transformative experience. In the healing, there is often pain, which we put away and letting it out to find ourselves is difficult but so necessary. πŸ™
