Prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have to raise our vibrations and expand our consciousness, thus placing us in alignment with the good that we desire, calling it forth into our experience. However, when most people pray, they beg or ask Spirit to give them something, increased health, financial abundance, or something else that they want. Whenever we ask Spirit for anything, what we actually are doing is affirming the very absence of that thing, perpetuating that very absence.

Blessings and welcome to the Path to Freedom.

My name is Daniel.

My name is Daniel Roqueo,

And as always I'm deeply grateful and honored and privileged that you're choosing to join me,

And I'm grateful that you're choosing to engage in raising your vibration and expanding your consciousness.

I'm grateful that you're choosing to be a conscious participant in the expansion and unfoldment of your soul and thus being a beneficial presence to this planet.

So I'm grateful that you're here.

Welcome,

Welcome,

Welcome.

The theme for today is why we never want to ask Spirit for anything.

And if you have ever joined me,

Because many people,

When they pray,

They pray from a state of asking God to give them something,

To give them greater health,

Or for God to give them more money,

Or for God to give them that job that they want,

Or for Spirit to provide for them in some kind of way,

Either for themselves or for someone they know.

And while prayers are always helpful,

There's a limitation built into this kind of prayer.

There's a limitation built into the prayer where we're begging or asking or beseeching Spirit to give us something,

Whatever it is that we're asking for.

Because in the very nature,

The very nature of asking for something is that we don't have it.

If we had it,

We wouldn't be asking for it,

Right?

And so by asking,

What we're actually doing is that we're affirming the lack of the very thing that we desire,

The very good that we seek to have in our lives.

And so as these sacred laws don't care anything,

Being impersonal and immutable,

They don't care one little bit about what we're praying for.

What they respond to and what they reflect and what they mirror back is the vibration of our prayer.

So it's not the words that we're saying,

But it's the vibration,

It's the consciousness that we're holding while we are praying that is the actual prayer.

It is our feeling tone that is the actual prayer.

I once heard a story about an individual visiting a monastery,

A Tibetan monastery,

And this individual asked the monks who were in prayer something along the lines of words they were using or I don't quite remember the actual question,

But the response that he received was you have never seen our prayers or you have never heard our prayers because it is the feeling that is the prayer and anything that we do when we chant,

When we play music,

When we utter words,

All of these are means to move us into the feeling,

Into the vibration that is the prayer.

And so this is what we're talking about here too,

That it is not the words that we're saying but it is the feeling tone underneath the words.

And so if we are praying for something,

Something to happen or for something to emerge into our lives,

What we're really,

The feeling that we're carrying is the feeling of lack.

It is stating that I don't have it.

And so the powerful way to pray is to take on the feeling tone of already having or already being the good that we desire.

If we desire greater health for instance or if we desire more money,

Greater financial abundance,

Praying for that would be to move into the feeling tone of it being already done,

Of it having already been given to us,

That we already have it,

We already are healthy,

We already live in financial abundance.

So we affirm that,

We affirm that this has already happened regardless of what kind of experiences we have,

Regardless of whatever conditions we have.

So prayer,

In prayer we never want to bring any kind of condition into the prayer because bringing any kind of condition only means that we're affirming that condition,

We're affirming the lack,

We're affirming the not having.

But when we move into prayer,

We want to always move into prayer knowing and feeling,

Taking on the knowing and feeling that whatever it is that we desire,

We already have it.

It's already been given to us because it has,

It has.

In the infinite mind of God or if you want to use more scientific terms,

In the divine matrix or the unified field,

Everything,

Every single possibility already exists.

So the very thing that we decide to seek happen,

Even though we don't have it in this physical dimension,

At some level,

In some dimension,

That possibility is already in existence.

And so through prayer,

We consciously choose to call forth that experience into our lives.

So we want to,

When we move into prayer,

We never want to ask or beg for anything,

But we want to just state that the good that we desire,

It's already been given to us,

We already have it,

It's done,

It's done,

It's done.

Now this may seem as a play of words and in the beginning this may seem false and fake,

But we need to keep at it,

We need to keep at it.

And this is what prayer is all about.

Another word for this kind of prayer is affirmative prayer or yet another way to call it is the six-step spiritual mind treatment.

And that is what prayer is.

We're not seeking to manipulate or coerce spirit into giving us anything,

But we are going to work within our own minds,

Treating them so that we move into the knowing and feeling,

So that we move into the alignment,

The vibrational alignment with the having of the good that we desire.

And that's when we are in vibrational alignment,

Whatever we are in vibrational alignment with,

Will and must,

Absolutely must,

Come into our experience by law.

Just like any airplane constructed adhering to the laws of aerodynamics or any boat constructed adhering to the laws of buoyancy or any electrical device constructed adhering to the laws of electricity,

Will and must work simply because they are in adherence,

They are in alignment with the particular principles of these laws.

Whenever we move into vibrational alignment with something,

Regardless of whether it is something that we do want or something that we don't want,

But whenever we move into vibrational alignment with something,

By law,

We're calling it forth into our experience because we are in alignment with the principles of these sacred laws.

So praying needs to be simply taking on the feeling tone of already having the good that we desire.

All right,

So thank you so so much for tuning in,

For listening.

Until the next time,

I bless,

Bless,

Bless your day and I bless,

Bless,

Bless your way.

Beautiful,

Magnificent,

Radiant,

Powerful,

Wonderful being.

Namaste.
