I was recently asked why we need visions and intentions, as Spirit knows if Spirit ultimately is the one making all the choices (choosing our destiny for us). This is such a powerful question, that needs some clarifying, so I invite you to join me as we explore the nature of our free will and why we are so wise to have intentions, visions, or dreams for our lives.

Blessings and welcome to the path to freedom,

This beautiful path where we get to set ourselves free to be in ever-expanding love and joy and harmony and wholeness,

Where we get to set ourselves free to soar,

To shine,

To glow in ways beyond imagination,

Where we get to set ourselves free from fear and from worry and doubt,

Anxiety,

Stress,

All these lower thought forms and perceptions and experiences,

All of this regardless of conditions and circumstances.

So this is such a beautiful path that we get to walk and I'm so grateful that I am here on this path and I'm grateful that you are here on this path,

That you're choosing to join me,

That you're choosing to join into this space where we get to expand our consciousness,

Where we get to raise our vibration.

And as we do,

As we do,

The whole universe rises up to meet us here at our new level of vibration,

In our new expanded consciousness and as we have changed,

It means that everything begins to change.

When we change,

Everything begins to change,

That's one of the principles of transformation.

So thank you so much for being here,

Thank you so much for being willing to do this work.

This topic is about visions,

It is about the art of manifestation and it is inspired by a question that a student from one of my courses posted recently.

Just to give the background,

I'm going to read the particular question.

So this individual says,

Hi Daniel,

I'm in the middle of your course and I'm really enjoying it and getting a lot out of it.

Some of it is a bit confusing to me.

At the beginning of the course you speak about choosing what we want to manifest,

Whether that be money or love,

Etc.

And as we move through the course,

It seems that destiny or spirit is deciding our course for us,

Similar to the end story.

If spirit knows our path and is guiding us toward our life experience,

I'm confused as to why we can decide what we want to manifest.

Could you please help me with this?

And this is such a beautiful and very powerful question.

If this loving presence that is all there is,

If it knows all there is to know,

If it is eternally and perpetually guiding and leading and moving us,

Why do we have the free will?

And why is it that we need intentions?

So the topic for today is about intentions and visions,

And why we so need to have them in our lives.

And the bigger the vision,

The bigger the intention,

The better.

It is not always that way,

It is not always that bigger is better,

But in terms of visions and intentions,

Bigger is better,

Simply because a bigger vision allows us to grow and expand and unfold a whole lot more than a smaller vision.

So let us begin with exploring the difference between us in the human realm and our fellow beings on this planet.

We have the animal kingdom and we have the plant kingdom.

Now take a rose,

Or a tulip,

Or a daffodil,

Or an oak tree,

Or anything in the plant kingdom.

There is a seed,

And that seed is destined to become something very specific.

If we take an apple seed,

That apple seed is destined to become an apple tree,

Right?

If we take a daffodil seed,

That daffodil seed is destined to become a daffodil.

If we take a grass seed,

That grass seed is destined to become a grass plant.

A tulip seed cannot,

At some point or any point,

Make a choice to become a rose instead.

But it is destined to become what it is destined to become,

And that is it.

There is no volition,

There is no freedom involved in that sense,

No freedom of choice.

And the same it is with the animal kingdom.

A mouse cannot,

One day,

Choose to become a lion,

Or to choose to learn a new skill.

But a mouse is a mouse and it is destined to be a mouse,

And that is a beautiful,

Unique and perfect expression,

Emanation of the loving presence that is all there is.

So there is nothing wrong with it at all,

There is nothing wrong with it,

There is no hierarchy here,

There are only different expressions and emanations of this loving presence,

Which is exactly by design,

Which is by divine design.

As this loving presence,

Its will and the purpose of all of life is for this loving presence to come into the greater and grander expressions of itself,

To reveal and express more of itself,

To know itself more and more and more.

Not to become more,

Because it cannot ever be more than what it already is,

But it can express more of that which it is.

And that's why we have the variety,

That's why we have the infinitude of unique expressions in all of creation.

So that different aspects of this loving presence may be expressed in ways that has not been,

And that will not ever be expressed before.

So that's the plant and animal kingdom,

And then there's us,

With our reflective consciousness,

With our independent thinking mind,

Which allows us to make any kind of choice,

Which gives us the free will to choose whatever we want to choose in any given moment.

Now most people are not choosing,

Most people are not consciously choosing,

But most people are like mindless reactionary drones,

They are in a constant state of reacting.

Reacting to external conditions and circumstances,

Reacting to whatever the content that flows through their awareness is.

But we all do have the ability to make a conscious choice.

And what this means is that we have the ability to at one point,

In some moment,

Make a choice to move in a completely different direction from what we have been moving in.

So we can take off,

We may have been living our lives moving in the same direction for decades perhaps,

And then in a moment of inspiration,

We get to make a new choice that completely alters the direction of our lives,

That completely alters the trajectory of our lives,

Right?

So we have that ability.

Now we need to utilize that ability.

We need to make use of this gift that we have been given.

We need to build our attention muscle so strong so that we choose where we turn our attention.

And this is where visions come in and intentions come in.

So if we just leave it to the mind,

Because God cannot force itself onto us.

God cannot make itself or make us do anything unless we choose to do it.

Yes,

Absolutely,

Everything is working for the highest good.

So even if we are not consciously participating,

Most people are observants in their own lives.

They're not participating,

Even less so consciously participating.

But most people are just passive observers or bystanders watching their lives just move in whichever direction they're moving,

Right?

And everything is working for the highest good.

So when an individual has had enough of painful experiences,

Of struggling,

Of efforting,

There comes a point sooner or later,

There comes a point where they say,

Enough is enough.

From this moment on,

I'm done with having these perpetual experiences.

I'm done with reliving the same old experiences over and over and over again.

So that is them moving from being passive observers to becoming conscious participants.

They begin to make a conscious choice as to what they wish to experience.

They begin to make a conscious choice as to in which direction they want their lives to go and to move.

So now they are utilizing that beautiful gift of free will.

But for most people,

Yet.

And humanity is waking up,

So no worries.

We are waking up.

Something is shifting.

Our consciousness is being up-leveled.

More and more people are waking up to their innate ability to choose their own experiences.

That left to its own devices.

And oh,

And then we have the sacred laws that decree,

That dictate,

That declare that wherever we turn our attention to the most,

Whatever we talk about the most,

Whatever we think about the most,

Whatever we feel about the most,

That is what we're calling forth into our experience.

You may have heard me use the bathroom mirror analogy.

Whatever we present to the mirror,

That is the image that we will see in the mirror.

And these are divine laws,

So these are not separate from this loving presence.

But this is the way it operates,

Right?

And these sacred laws,

They are not personal and they are not mutable.

Which means that they don't care who we are,

When we are.

They don't care what has happened previously in our lives.

They don't care about our history,

About our past.

All they care about is whether or not we are moving in adherence,

In alignment with their principles.

Actually,

We're always aligning ourselves with them.

The question is,

Are we aligning ourselves with them in a way that serves us?

Are we aligning ourselves with them in a way that brings forth experiences that are to our liking?

That allows for what we wish to experience to come into fruition?

Or are we moving in an alignment with them that brings forth what we don't wish to experience?

So having a vision is crucial.

Having an intention is crucial.

Because what these do is that they assist us in focusing our attention.

When we begin to move in a direction of our own choosing,

What happens is that we begin to make conscious choices.

You may have heard me say from time to time that a powerful question that we can ask is this choice that I'm about to make,

Or this choice that I just made,

Is this in alignment with what I wish to experience?

Now for us to be able to ask that,

We need to know what it is that we wish to experience.

Most people don't.

Most of us do not know what it is that we wish to experience.

We know what we don't wish to experience.

We don't want to experience this.

We don't wish to experience that.

But knowing what we don't wish to experience is not ever the same as knowing what it is that we want to experience.

So we need to be able to articulate and describe what it is that we wish to see in our experiences,

What it is that we wish to experience in life,

What it is that we wish for our lives to be about.

So we need to be able to articulate and describe how we want to show up in the world,

Right?

And this is where visions and intentions come in.

Without visions and intentions,

We're just like leaves.

We're just like leaves.

Just being pulled by the wind.

Like a feather.

Oh,

It's blowing this way,

So I'm pulled this way.

Oh,

Now it's blowing this way,

So I'm pulled that way.

But there's no conscious choice.

And these sacred laws,

They don't care if we are turning our attention toward what we don't wish to experience or what we wish to experience.

All they care about is what we are in vibrational alignment with,

What it is that we are turning our attention to the most.

And most individuals here on this planet are,

At large,

Turning their attention toward fear and worry and doubt and how,

I was going to say miserable,

How bad life is.

They are more than anything turning their attention toward what is going wrong.

The negative.

And so,

What the sacred laws are saying is that,

Oh,

So this is where you turn your attention.

Well,

Here's more of it,

And here's more of it,

And here's more of it.

And so we need to wake up to begin to exercise,

To begin to take back our minds,

To begin to reclaim sanity,

Which merely means that we begin to exercise mastery over our minds.

We begin to develop our attention muscle so that it becomes so strong that even in the midst of seemingly unfavorable conditions and circumstances,

We still are having our attention turn toward what we wish to experience.

Even in the midst of seeming disease and illness,

We turn our attention toward health and wellness.

Even in the midst of seeming financial lack and scarcity,

We're able to turn our attention toward financial abundance,

Right?

And as we do,

The sacred laws,

They begin to move people and places and things around So to call those experiences into our lives.

So yes,

God is good,

And God is omniscient,

Which means that He knows all,

He sees all.

He knows what needs to happen,

He knows when it needs to happen,

And He knows how it needs to happen.

But we need to know where we're going.

We need to know in which direction we want to move.

Otherwise,

God cannot move people and places and things around for that to come into fruition.

This is just like when we're small children,

Like when we're toddlers learning to walk.

Yes,

There are adults around us who can tell us how to walk.

They can try to teach us,

But we need to learn,

The toddler needs to learn.

The toddler needs to learn to build the muscles necessary to sustain its balance and to begin to move one foot in front of the other.

If the toddler doesn't learn,

It doesn't matter how much the adults know about walking.

And this is the same.

We're like children.

We need to learn to exercise our presence muscles,

Our attention muscles.

We need to learn to begin to turn our attention toward what we wish to experience,

Even in the face of seemingly contradictory conditions and circumstances,

Even in the midst of this.

So yes,

We are very,

Very,

Very wise to have visions and intentions.

And then the second part of all of this is that we are wise to surrender them,

Which means that even though we are articulating what it is that we wish to experience,

We do not want to relegate ourselves.

We do not want to put a lid on spirit creativity and the infinite possibilities by stating,

By saying,

By locking onto that this needs to show up like this.

So that was it for today.

I hope this helped clarify this particular question as to why it is that we need visions and intentions in our lives,

Even though this loving presence is always for itself.

And as we are one with it,

It's always for us.

So thank you so,

So much.

As always,

Please share this with those that you feel might benefit from hearing it.

Until we meet again,

I absolutely bless,

Bless,

Bless our days,

And I bless,

Bless,

Bless our ways,

Knowing that all is well,

Knowing that something wonderful is happening,

Knowing that everything is working for our highest good,

Now,

Always,

And forever.

With much love,

Many blessings,

Namaste.
