We Are Not A Part Of God

To truly experience the freedom we seek, we need to fully understand that God, Spirit, this Loving Presence, or whatever we want to call it, is not out there, nor are we parts of it.

We are it, expressing itself in, as, and through us fully and completely. The ramifications of this understanding are monumental because if God is all there is, and if we are One with it, never separated from it - it means that all the good we wish to experience is already here. It is all inherently within each and every single one of us, in every single moment.

I invite you to join me as we explore the absolute Oneness that Spirit is.

Blessings and welcome to the path to freedom,

This as always very beautiful and amazing and wonderful path where we get to set ourselves free.

Free to soar,

To shine,

To glow,

Free to forever love for greater and grander expressions of who and what we are.

Free to live in that beautiful dimension,

That beautiful realm of ever expanding peace and love and joy and harmony and wholeness and beauty and abundance and creativity and all of these things.

And as we're moving along this path for ourselves to forever shine and glow and soar in ways beyond our imagination,

For ourselves to set ourselves free to be in all these beautiful things that we just mentioned,

We need to release and let go of something.

There is no growth without releasing and letting go.

This is not ever about us adding anything onto ourselves,

This is not about us gathering knowledge so that we may grow but the growth happens,

The expansion happens as we release and let go of the small delimited thought patterns,

The judgments,

The opinions,

The point of views,

The stories,

The beliefs,

The sense that we are not enough and that we do not have enough and a lot more.

So that is what the work is period.

Us releasing and letting go,

Releasing our attachments.

So today we are and my name is Daniel Roqueo as always and as always I'm deeply grateful and honored that you are choosing to join me,

That you are willing to expand your consciousness,

That you are willing to allow your vibration to be lifted to be raised so that your life may transform.

There is no transformation without change.

When we change everything begins to change.

So welcome and thank you.

I was asked recently if you have tuned into one of the affirmative prayer tracks,

There is that second stage,

That second step in which we declare the principles of this loving presence.

Call it spirit,

Call it god,

Call it whatever we want to call it.

And one of the principles is that it is absolute oneness,

That it is the all in all,

That it is all there is,

It is omnipresent,

It is omniactive,

That there's nothing outside of it and that it cannot ever divide itself into parts.

And so I was asked if god cannot ever divide itself into parts,

How can we then be a part of god?

That's a very beautiful question,

A very profound question.

And I can see,

I clearly understand where the question is coming from.

In saying that we are parts of god,

There's a sense of separation,

When the truth is that there is no separation in god.

So let us have a moment of clarification.

And the clarification is really quite simple,

That we are not part of god,

We are not parts of god,

None of us.

We are one with this loving presence,

We are expressions of this loving presence,

We are emanations of this loving presence,

We are it being itself in us and through us,

Not dividing itself into parts.

So there is no part that that is you and there is no part that is me,

There is no part that is the atlantic ocean,

There is no part that is the mount everest,

There is no part that is mother earth,

There is no part that is this or that galaxy.

But everything,

Everything is a unique,

Perfect,

Whole,

Complete expression and emanation of this loving presence.

Much like how the waves on the ocean,

They are not part of the ocean.

No wave is a part of the ocean,

But it is the ocean.

They are all emanations of the ocean,

They are all the ocean expressing itself in a unique and perfect way.

So there's no separation between the waves and the ocean.

The moment there is separation,

Like if the wave is crashing against a ship or I don't know,

Whatever,

And it splashes,

The moment the separation happens,

The seeming separation,

The wave ceases to exist.

And so it is with us.

If we for an instant would be separated from this loving presence,

We would cease to exist.

Now the good thing,

The good thing is that as God is all there is,

As this loving presence is all there is.

It is every single bee,

It is every single flower,

It is every single gray blade of grass,

A grain of sand,

It is every single star,

It's the very air that we breathe,

It's every cell action and function in our bodies,

It's every thought that we ever entertain,

It's everything that we see and all that we don't see,

It's everything that we hear and all that we don't hear.

It is everything.

It is the creator,

It is the creation and everything in between.

So there are no dualities in this loving presence.

There's not this loving presence and something else.

There's only it expressing itself,

Revealing itself,

Emanating itself in as and through all of the beautiful unique expressions that is creation.

So every single one of us is unique.

There are no two things that are exactly alike.

There are no two waves on the ocean that are exactly alike.

There are no two stars in the skies,

In the heavens that are exactly alike.

There are no two raindrops that are exactly alike.

There are no two trees that are exactly alike.

There are no two grains of sand that are exactly alike.

But everything is a unique expression of this loving presence.

Everything is unique expression of this loving presence.

And so while we may use words such as what this individual is giving voice to,

I am a part of God.

Words oftentimes,

And it's convenient,

It's convenient to use such words,

But words oftentimes create duality because in this finite dimension that we live in,

In this time-space dimension,

There is a beginning,

There is an ending.

There's very little in this dimension that our minds or our brains or our intellects perceive as infinite,

Right?

So there's a beginning and ending to everything.

This is a dual dimension,

A dimension of duality,

Where everything seems to be separate from everything else,

Right?

But we're wise to contemplate and we're wise to do the inner work to come into the realization that this loving presence,

It is not out there.

It is not some external deity.

It's not malicious.

It's not vengeful.

It is not,

It's not a him.

It is not a she.

Actually,

I was having another conversation yesterday with a beautiful being reminding me,

Or actually I didn't know that,

So he was informing me or teaching me that,

Let me see if I can remember how we came to talk about it.

It doesn't matter.

But how in scripture,

This loving presence is described as the Father.

And apparently in the Aramaic original scripture,

The word Aboum is how they describe this loving presence.

Now,

This word Aboum,

It consists of two words.

It consists of A or Ab,

I don't remember.

But the first part speaks to the male aspect of this loving presence.

And then the second part,

Oum,

Speaks to the female part of this loving presence.

And so,

While many of us humans are quite used to and lean quite heavenly into saying,

Calling God a him.

He,

His will.

He,

This is what he wants.

I'm asking him to save my life or whatever the case may be.

The truth is that this loving presence,

It has no gender.

It is everything.

It is the female.

It is the male.

It is an isness.

It is a presence that is never in absence,

Nowhere in absence.

This loving presence is fully present,

Evenly present in all spaces and places,

All beings,

All moments,

All objects,

Everywhere at all times.

So we could not ever be divided.

We could not ever be parted from this loving presence.

But we are it.

It is the very essence of our being.

It is our life.

It is who and what we are.

So we are one with it,

Always,

Now and forever.

There is no separation.

There is only absolute oneness,

Absolute unity.

And the ramifications of this is that as this loving presence is all there is,

As it is fully present,

Evenly present everywhere,

Right where you are,

Right where I am,

Even though we may seem to be separated,

As it is all there is,

It means that all of it is fully present in every space and place and every being and moment and object.

Just like every wave on the ocean carries all of the qualities of the ocean,

A wave does not have a different temperature than the ocean or a different percentage of salt than the ocean.

The wave is not dry,

Whereas the ocean is wet,

Right?

But every single wave carries all of the qualities of the ocean.

And so it is with this loving presence,

All of its qualities,

Peace,

Love,

Joy,

Harmony,

Wholeness,

Abundance,

Beauty,

Creativity,

They're all fully present right where we are,

Right smack where we are.

And this this sense of separation,

It messes things up because we go about our lives,

We run through our lives seeking for the world to give us the peace.

We're seeking for the world to give us,

Or another individual or condition or circumstance,

For it,

Something out there,

To give us what we feel,

Believe that we are missing.

When in truth,

It is all within.

It is all within.

All the peace is here intrinsically,

Inherently,

Innately,

Within every single one of us,

Within you,

Within me.

All the love is here.

Wholeness is here.

Beauty is here.

Abundance is here.

We're not ever lacking anything.

We could not ever lack anything.

If we were lacking anything,

It would mean that the fullness of God is not here.

That this loving presence in some mysterious way had divided itself,

Diminished itself,

Compromised itself,

Or contradicted its own nature.

But it cannot ever,

It cannot ever diminish itself.

It cannot ever divide itself into parts.

So all that it is,

It is fully present here and now,

In every single moment,

In every single being,

All here now.

These are the ramifications of this awareness that we are eternally in absolute oneness with this loving presence.

We are missing nothing.

We are lacking nothing.

Yes,

We may not feel.

We may not be able to see the qualities that we are.

That is the truth and the essence of who and what we are.

We may not understand it.

But just because we do not understand that two plus two is four,

Just because we do not believe it,

Or just because we don't believe that the sun is still in the sky,

Even on a cloudy day or at night,

Doesn't make it less true.

It doesn't make it less so.

So whereas many of us go running through life,

Go looking for whatever it is that we wish to experience outside of ourselves,

The only way and the only place to really find lasting peace,

Lasting joy,

Lasting harmony,

Lasting wholeness,

Beauty abundant,

Is to go look for it,

To find it within.

Because it is all here.

It is all here.

So the invitation for today is to contemplate our oneness with this loving presence.

Actually,

The invitation for us today is to seek to become aware when we are projecting separation.

When we are entertaining thoughts,

Beliefs,

Perceptions relating to separation.

When we say in essence that something that we want,

Something that we need,

Is out there somewhere.

Or when we refer to God,

This loving presence,

As an external deity,

As an external presence.

So to become mindful,

To become aware of where we habitually are in consciousness.

That's our invitation for today.

And the questions,

And the questions obviously,

They are,

Where am I turning my attention?

What am I buying into right now?

What stories,

Beliefs am I attaching myself to right now,

In this now moment?

That's the question,

Or those are the questions.
