Blessings and welcome to the path to freedom.
This path of awakening,
About us waking up to who and what we are,
About us allowing for greater and grander expressions of that who and what to emerge,
And about us allowing for the peace and the love and the joy and the harmony and the abundance and the wholeness and the beauty and the creativity and intelligence and bliss and expansion and ecstasy and all of that which God is,
All of that which spirit is,
All of that which we are,
To emerge,
To flow through us,
To well up from within us.
My name is Daniel Roquejo and I'm eternally grateful that you are choosing to tune in,
That you're choosing to spend some time with me,
That you're choosing to join me as we seek to lift our vibration and as we seek to expand our consciousness,
As we seek to wake up,
Period.
I want to dedicate this talk to what I call the moments in between.
Moments in between,
Or actually let me start in this way.
This path of freedom,
This path of awakening is all about us growing,
Unfolding and expanding.
Going deeper and wider and higher into that which is true and real.
And the only way,
And I literally mean it,
The only way to move along this path is to practice.
Practice,
Practice,
Practice.
Practice being still,
Practice raising our vibration,
Practice releasing and letting go of that which no longer serves us,
Practice expanding our consciousness,
Practicing tuning in or turning our attention toward that which we want to experience as opposed to that which we don't want to experience.
It is all about the practice,
Practice,
Practice,
Practice.
And we've got a number of different practices.
Perhaps you've joined me in the way of meditation.
Meditation is one practice.
It's one way of practicing.
Perhaps you've joined me in the power of prayer.
Prayer is one way to practice.
We've got the art and practice of gratitude.
We've got the art and practice of surrendering.
We've got the art and practice of forgiveness.
We've got compassion.
We've got generosity.
We've got studying,
Hanging out in high fellowship.
There's so many practices.
There's so many ways through which we can awaken.
And so we're not limited to just one or two practices,
But there are infinite ways to awaken.
But we need to practice.
We need to seek to eternally go deeper and wider and higher into the nowness of this moment,
Into that which is true and real,
Into the truth and essence of who and what we are.
So practice is the way.
Practice the way and enter what I call the moments in between,
Because the moments in between,
A moment in between is,
It's pretty much what it sounds like.
A moment in between is a moment in between us doing something that requires our conscious attention.
In other words,
A moment in between is a moment where we're not engaged in something that requires our conscious attention.
And we've got infinite,
Once again,
We've got infinite moments in between.
Taking a shower would be a moment in between.
Walking the dog would be a moment in between.
Watching TV can actually be a moment in between.
Commuting,
Sitting on a bus or a train or a plane or in a cab can be a moment in between.
Folding laundry can be a moment in between.
Cooking can be a moment in between.
Driving can be a moment in between.
And I actually do a lot of practicing when I'm driving.
I study,
I have recorded talks that I listen to over and over again.
I pray a lot when I'm in my car.
I actually meditate a lot when I'm in my car driving.
I obviously do not close my eyes,
But I do turn my attention.
I go through all of the steps that constitutes meditation.
Tapping the first eye,
Smiling,
Setting my intentions,
Turning my attention toward my breath and seeking to sustain it there.
So we've got all of these moments in between that we can use.
As opposed to,
And I'm going to put a label on this,
But I'm not really meaning it,
But I would say that most individuals sort of squander these moments in between.
They use them for nothing,
But they just let them pass.
Daydreaming,
Complaining,
Bemoaning,
Gossiping,
Whatever the case may be.
But as an awakened individual,
We want to acquire the discipline to use them in a way that serves us,
Because complaining,
Bemoaning,
Engaging in all these low vibration activities,
Regurgitating fear,
Repeating worst case scenarios and all these things that are so normal for most individuals,
But in no way,
Shape or form serves the highest good or serves their awakening.
But as an awakened individual,
We want to use these moments.
We want to honor these moments with practicing in a way that in a very powerful way supports and empowers us to keep moving forward,
To go ever wider and deeper and higher,
To forever raise our vibration.
And so I would invite you to use your imagination as to what kind of moments in between you have in your life.
And I would invite you to set an intention to begin using them in a way that serves you,
In a way that raises your vibration,
That expands your consciousness,
In a way that you feel inspired and compelled by.
Because these moments in between,
They are treasures.
They are treasures.
And I think I'm going to dedicate another talk to this topic,
But I have a sort of call to action phrase that I have used so much.
And that is,
In this moment,
What is mine to do?
So that's the question I ask.
And I have asked that question more times than I can remember whenever I found myself in a moment in between.
So I find myself driving or out walking or just sitting on the beach or cooking or whatever I'm doing in that moment.
And so I ask,
In this moment,
What is mine to do?
And whatever comes to mind,
And oftentimes the answers that I catch revolves around being grateful.
It revolves around celebrating abundance or health.
Oh,
Going to the bathroom,
That's a beautiful moment in between.
It's a beautiful moment in between where we can bless our bodies,
Where we can give thanks for the help that they have,
For them being such loyal and powerful companions,
Allowing us to carry out our missions,
Allowing us to do our chores,
Allowing us to do what we're called to do.
So going to the bathroom is a wonderful moment in between.
And so that's the question I ask in this moment,
What is mine to do?
And whatever comes to mind,
That is a practice.
If I sort of intellectually or if I feel drawn toward eating a chocolate bar,
Nah,
That's not mine to do right now.
There's a time for eating chocolate,
You know,
But in terms of practice,
To wake up,
To awaken,
Eating chocolate is not the way to go.
So I think that was all for today.
I invite you to use your moments in between.
I invite you to set an intention to use them.
And I invite you to,
Whenever you remember,
Whenever you become aware of having a moment in between,
Whenever you become aware of not using them in a way that serves you,
In a way that raises your vibration or in a way that expands your consciousness,
I invite you to begin to use them in such a way.
Until the next time,
I bless,
Bless,
Bless your day and I bless,
Bless,
Bless your way.
Beautiful,
Wonderful,
Magnificent being.
Namaste.
