The Way Of Meditation - Catching Answers
Meditation is perhaps the most powerful tool there is when it comes to calling forth the peace, love, joy, harmony, abundance, and wholeness that is inherent within each of us. As such, I have been guided to create this The way of Meditation Series. Each ”session” will begin with a brief teaching around meditation followed by a meditation sitting. I invite you to join me for a beautiful, healing, soothing and empowering moment of becoming still through meditation. Namaste Daniel

Blessings and welcome to the way of meditation.
My name is Daniel Roqueillo and as always I am deeply grateful that you're choosing to join me for a moment of coming back to the namaste,
This moment for a moment of expanding our consciousness for a moment of withdrawing from the world,
From the hustle and the bustle and the doings of the world.
Come back to the stillness and the peace and the joy and the availability and the receptivity that is here in the namaste of this moment.
We've talked a lot about how meditation is not about doing at all but it is about embracing and allowing that which is to be as it is,
How meditation is defined as being fully present in the nowness of this moment.
Which means that we are to be present with whatever is in the nowness of this moment.
And so that's one way to use meditation but meditation can also be used as a means to catch guidance and to catch revelations and realizations.
It has been said that any question that we have and any question that we ask,
Spirit will answer.
And Spirit always answers in a language and in a way that we can understand but for us to catch the answers to the questions that we have and to the questions that we ask,
We need to be still enough,
We need to be open,
Available enough,
We need to be receptive enough,
We need to be silent enough,
We need to pay attention enough so that when the answer reveals itself that we are able to catch it.
And meditation is a beautiful space for us to be open and available,
For us to be receptive,
For us to pay attention.
And so how we can go about this is that before we move into the meditation or actually when in meditation,
We go through all the preparations,
Making ourselves comfortable and smiling and closing our eyes and tapping and placing our hands in our lap and turning our attention toward the breath and all of that.
And when we become still,
When the body begins to relax,
When our minds begin to slow down,
Then we can ask the question and then we sit and we listen for the answer.
Us asking a question is not about us figuring the answer out.
It is not about us using our intellect or our mind to come up with the answer.
But us asking questions is about us catching it and we will catch it because the answer will be given to us in their language and in a way that we can understand.
Some catch guidance and answers through images or visions,
Others through sounds and yet others through feelings or bodily sensations,
Kinesthetic sensations and some of us catch answers as an inner knowing.
And this is for us as unique and perfect individuals to discern,
To learn to discern how we are inclined to catch answers.
Because most of us have a proclivity as to how we catch answers.
Me,
For instance,
I catch almost all my answers through an inner knowing.
I just know I can't explain how I know,
But I just know I don't see much,
I don't hear much,
I don't feel much,
I don't sense much,
But I know that's how guidance comes to me.
So this is for all of us to figure out and discern how guidance comes to us,
How we are most inclined to catch guidance.
So before we move into meditation,
I just briefly want to touch on three or actually four very powerful and very empowering questions that we can ask.
Actually five,
I wonder if there's one more question in there.
And I'm not going to speak to them much,
But if you are interested in learning more about them,
I have a brief talk about them.
So this is more me repeating them.
So these questions are,
In this moment,
What is mine to do?
Or what good is here that I presently cannot see?
Or what is my lesson here?
Or how can I grow?
And the last one,
What is seeking to emerge?
In essence through me right now.
So any one of these,
Whichever one you feel the most inspired and compelled by,
I invite you to,
As we move into the meditation,
That you ask it.
Ask the question and just listen,
Pay attention.
Don't judge how an apparent answer comes to you.
But be open,
Be available,
Be non-judgmental,
Be non-attached to anything and everything.
You simply listen and pay attention.
All right,
So let's move into the meditation.
So in this moment,
I invite you to make yourself comfortable.
I invite you to put a smile on your face to let your body know that all is well.
So that it can begin to relax,
Begin to produce and distribute these tonic and healing chemicals.
I invite you to close your eyes and gently tap between your eyebrows,
Activating that first eye,
That spiritual eye.
And while we smile and while we tap,
I invite us to set an intention for this meditation sitting and you're welcome to join me in my intentions,
Which are always for me to wake up to what I am and to forever allow for greater and grander expressions of that who and what to emerge,
Where you can catch your own intention.
You can release the tapping.
Invite us to place our hands in our lap,
Palms facing upward,
Thumb and middle finger touching as a sign of receptivity,
Or actually we can leave our palms open for this meditation.
And as we turn our attention toward the breath,
I invite us to be aware that the body is fully capable and able of doing the breathing by itself,
So we do not need to make the breathing happen.
We do not need to participate in the breathing,
But we can simply observe it,
Surrender to it as it happens.
And also I invite us to be aware that the full breath has four stages to it.
The in-breath,
The space between in and out-breath,
The out-breath,
And then the space between out and in-breath.
And being aware of this allows us to keep our attention on the breath with much greater ease.
And as we take on the feeling tone that all is well,
Let's give the peace that follows permission to move us deep,
Deep,
Deep into the stillness and into the silence.
And from here,
We can ask the questions.
In this moment,
What is mine to do,
What good is here that I presently cannot see?
What is my lesson here?
How can I grow?
And what is seeking to emerge in,
As,
And through me right now in this moment?
So we ask the question and we listen for the answer.
Respects who we are and who we are.
Thoughts drift away from the breath.
Let's lovingly and gently turn them back and begin again.
Come back to the breath.
Begin again and listen.
Exhale.
Listen and begin again.
Listen and begin again.
Listen and begin again.
Listen and begin again.
Listen and begin again.
Listen and begin again.
And breath,
Begin again,
And listen.
Listen and begin again.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And listen.
And listen.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And listen to catch the answer.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And breath,
Begin again,
And pay attention.
And come back to breath,
And listen.
And as I move us into prayer,
I invite you to remain with your eyes closed,
Your mind open,
Available,
Still receptive,
Still paying attention,
Still listening.
And so in this moment,
How grateful I am for this moment,
How deeply grateful I am for this moment,
How deeply grateful I am for you saying yes in this moment,
For you saying yes to surrender,
For you saying yes to letting God have its way with you,
For you saying yes to releasing and letting go of control,
Allowing Spirit to eternally guide and move and lead you,
For your willingness to make yourself open and available,
To forever allow for greater and grander expressions of who and what you are to emerge.
I'm so grateful for you and for your willingness and for that yes,
That first initial yes and that continuous yes that you're saying.
I'm so grateful for you.
And from this space of gratitude,
I know and I feel the allness and the goodness and the eternality of Spirit.
I know the omniscience of God,
Which means that God,
Spirit,
Knows all there is to know.
There is nothing that God does not know.
Nothing.
And as God is pure love and infinite harmony and infinite abundance,
Infinite goodness,
Infinite benevolence,
I know and I feel that Spirit is eternally seeking to guide and lead and move you into ever greater and grander expressions.
That God is eternally sourcing and fueling and funding you,
Sustaining and maintaining you,
So that you may forever expand,
Forever grow,
Forever unfold.
And I know and I feel that this expansion and this growth and this unfoldment comes about as you release and let go of that which no longer serves you.
Those small and limited thought patterns and opinions and judgments,
Thoughts as to what should and should not be.
As you give yourself permission to heal and to allow for the love and the joy and the harmony and the wholeness and the abundance and the beauty that is fully present within you,
And that is fully present in each and every single moment,
As you allow that to boil up,
To come forth,
To gush forth,
To fountain up from within you,
Healing happens.
And greater and grander expressions of you emerge with ease and grace.
And so in this moment,
I know and I feel that something truly wonderful is happening.
I know and I feel it regardless of where you are,
Regardless of who you are,
Regardless of when you are.
I know and I feel that something wonderful is happening right where you are.
Whatever you are facing,
Conditions,
Circumstances,
Experiences,
All is well right where you are.
All is well because God is,
God is easing as you.
Peace is easing as you.
Harmony is easing as you.
Wholeness is easing as you.
Abundance is easing as you.
Abundance is easing as you.
The fundamental goodness of God is right where you are.
So something truly wonderful is happening right now in this moment,
In this very moment,
In every moment,
From this moment on.
Anything and everything that is heretofore blocked or obscured or hindered you from knowing and feeling this goodness,
From knowing and feeling that the gifts and the blessings of Spirit are right where you are.
All of that is now dissolved,
Disintegrated,
Transmuted into the nothingness from which it came.
You are unfolding beautifully with such ease and grace.
You are growing beautifully,
You are expanding beautifully with such ease and grace.
I know it and I feel it,
I accept it,
I give thanks for it,
I allow it to be.
So it is,
So be it and so shall it be.
So it is,
So be it,
So shall it be.
Amen.
Amen.
