Along the path of freedom and awakening, we inevitably move through periods when we are not feeling too good. Periods of confusion and inner turmoil. Although these may seem as though there is something wrong, they sometimes are signs of good in progress. And so, as we move through these, we are very wise to be kind and compassionate toward ourselves that we may move through them as smoothly as possible and emerge on the other side, more expanded, and more luminous than ever before. Blessings and welcome to the Path to Freedom.

The Path to Freedom is all about us waking up to whom we are.

It is all about us allowing for greater and grander expressions of that who and what to emerge.

It is all about us allowing for the peace and the joy and the harmony and the abundance and the wholeness and the beauty,

The love that is inherent within us,

That is inherent within each and every single moment to come forth,

To well up from within us,

To surround us,

To embrace us,

To carry us,

To envelop us in such a magnificent and powerful way.

So the theme for today is sometimes feeling bad is good in progress.

And this has something to do with the fact that along the path of awakening and along the path of freedom,

As we continuously,

Through doing the inner work,

Through introspection,

Through being open and available to catch insights and revelations,

Through our willingness to do the inner work necessary,

As we continuously allow for greater and grander expressions of who and what we are to emerge,

We inevitably move through periods when we're not feeling good.

And this does not have to be something bad,

But these periods can actually be a blessing.

Because what happens as we continuously release and let go of the small and the limited,

The small and the limited expressions and the small and the limited versions of who and what we are,

That the new and the greater and the grander and more expanded may emerge,

We move through periods of confusion.

We move through periods where the old is dying and the new is being born,

But the old has not quite died yet,

It has not quite dissolved yet,

And the new has not yet fully manifested itself.

And so we're sort of dangling in between the old and the new,

Sort of like a caterpillar that moves into the cocoon and goes through the metamorphosis to emerge as a butterfly.

And even though I have not personally had the experience of being a caterpillar moving into the cocoon,

I would imagine that in that cocoon,

As the caterpillar literally dissolves and ceases to exist,

There's a lot of turmoil and there's a lot of turbulence and there's a lot of confusion going on in that cocoon.

And then obviously,

As the butterfly emerges,

It emerges as a totally different being from the caterpillar.

They are totally different,

But that metamorphosis and that the caterpillar moving into the cocoon,

It is necessary for the butterfly to emerge.

And this is sort of what we are going through.

Obviously we're not going through it just once and then we're done with it,

But we are going through it continuously.

As we stretch,

As we release and let go of comfort zones,

As we allow ourselves to venture into the unknown,

We continuously move through these periods.

And we are wise to,

Whenever we move into these periods,

We're wise to first of all know that nothing lasts forever,

But that everything is in a constant state of change.

Which means that even though these periods may,

They may last a few days,

They may last a week,

A couple of weeks,

Or even longer.

But however long they last,

We're wise to know and feel that nothing lasts forever.

We will emerge out of the seeming darkness when there's much turmoil within,

Where we perhaps are getting agitated or irritable or reactive to the world in a way that we perhaps have not been for a long,

Long time.

But when we do emerge,

We will emerge as totally different beings.

We will emerge at a high frequency,

We will emerge with a more expanded consciousness,

With more light flowing through us,

With more love flowing through us.

We will see clearer.

We will be more stabilized in a high vibration.

A new expression will have been born.

But we need to go through these stages of confusion.

And this actually has a term,

I think it was Dr.

Howard Thurman that coined the term chemicalization,

Which means that we release and let go of that which no longer serves us.

And in that process of releasing and letting go,

Just like the caterpillar releases and letting go of its being,

Its whole being.

And so we release and let go of a previous version,

A previous expression.

And in that sweet space of releasing and letting go,

Or in that sweet space of expansion,

We are not always feeling good.

So what can we do?

We can embrace,

We can allow,

And just wait.

Do whatever we can to not snap at other individuals.

Do whatever we can to stay in such a high vibration as possible,

To bring as much smiles to our faces as possible.

Which is not about us denying that we're feeling a certain way,

Which is not about us pushing away or resisting,

But we're actually releasing the resistance.

By embracing and allowing,

We're releasing the resistance,

Making the ride through this chemicalization all that much smoother.

Embracing and allowing.

There's so much healing power in embracing and allowing.

So sometimes feeling bad truly is good in progress.

Until the next time,

I bless,

Bless,

Bless your day and I bless,

Bless,

Bless your way.

Namaste.

A beautiful analogy of the caterpillar & butterfly & how we need the pain & change to emerge as a better being 🦋. Thank you 🧡
