My Will Be Done Vs. Thy Will Be done
As we are moving along the Paths of Freedom and Manifestation, learning to surrender is a major lesson that we are being invited to learn. So many of us believe that we know best what needs to happen, how it needs to happen, and when it needs to happen, and we attach ourselves to particular outcomes and end results. I invite you to join me as we explore what it means to live in the space of Thy Will Be Done, as opposed to My Will Be Done.

Blessings and welcome to the path to freedom and today's message about the art of surrendering.
The art of surrendering.
This beautiful path is where we get to set ourselves free to soar,
To stay in high vibration,
To be in joy,
To be in love,
To be in harmony,
To be in wholeness,
Regardless of conditions and circumstances.
And one of the things that we need to learn if we want to be in ever-expanding peace and love and joy and harmony and all these,
We absolutely need to learn to surrender.
Surrender is sometimes a difficult concept to understand.
It can be very subtle.
The lines between surrendering and being a conscious co-creator can be very fine and it can be very difficult to discern.
Which is what?
So the topic for today is my will be done versus thy will be done.
And the latter of course,
Thy will be done,
Is a beautiful pointer to surrender.
So what we're gonna be doing is that we're gonna explore what it means to be in my will be done and we're gonna explore what it means to be in thy will be done.
And hopefully this will serve in learning to discern which is which.
And when we are on one side of the line and when we are on the other side of the line.
I think that we're gonna begin with thy will be done.
So perhaps the topic should have been reversed.
But it doesn't matter.
It doesn't.
Thy will be done.
So what we're saying,
And I absolutely love these words.
I don't say them often but it is one of my main intentions to live in that space.
Thy will be done.
So a little friendly reminder to myself to actually lean into these words.
To remind myself of them more than I am doing currently.
Thy will be done.
What is it that we are?
Who is it that we're saying thy will?
Whose will?
If not mine,
Then whose?
Well,
Obviously spirit or God or the higher power or infinite love or infinite intelligence or the universe or life with a capital L.
Or whatever we feel comfortable with or whatever words we resonate with.
To use referring to the allness.
To the only thing there ever is.
This loving presence that is all there is.
That is fully present in every space and place.
That knows all there is to know.
That gives birth and that has given birth and that will give birth to everything in the material dimension of creation.
Also,
Not only the material dimension but to all of creation.
Spirit being the creator and creation both alike.
So this is what we are surrendering to.
This is who we're referring to when we're saying thy will be done.
In the infinite mind of this loving presence every single possibility already exists.
In the infinite mind of spirit.
The highest possibility for mother earth,
For any forest,
Any beach,
Any building,
Any creative project.
Every single one of our lives.
For this solar system,
For this galaxy,
For all of universe,
All of cosmos.
Everything is in the infinite mind of spirit.
It knows all it sees all.
It knows nothing of past,
Present,
Future.
It only knows now.
It knows nothing of lack.
It knows nothing of scarcity.
It only knows abundance.
It knows nothing of impossibilities or probabilities or logic or reason.
It only knows infinite possibilities.
This loving presence is always for itself.
It is the reason that a seed put in the ground and we can flip the seed upside down,
It's going to flip itself right side up again.
A seed planted in the ground,
It can lay dormant for long long time.
Once the conditions are right and ripe,
In terms of humidity,
In terms of temperature,
In terms of pH and all of that.
Once the conditions are right and ripe,
The seed begins to shoot and root.
And in some mysterious way,
The sunflower seed unfolds into a sunflower.
In some mysterious way,
The sunflower emerges out of that tiny little seed.
A rose emerges out of that tiny little rose seed.
A tomato plant emerges out of that tiny little tomato seed.
We as human beings emerge out of the communion of two cells.
We virtually emerge out of nothing.
Everything emerges out of nothing.
Out of an idea,
A thought,
A vibration.
So this loving presence is always for itself.
And it is all there is.
It means that it is for us.
As we are unique,
Perfect,
Whole,
Complete emanations,
Expressions of the One,
We are eternally sourced,
Field funded,
Eternally sustained,
Maintained,
Guided,
Moved and led,
So that we may forever,
Ever,
Ever,
Ever,
Allow for ever greater and grander expressions of who we are to emerge.
That whole evolution impulse that penetrates and that runs through all of creation.
We are in that field.
We are in that vortex.
We are in that impulse as well.
So everything is for us.
This is what we are surrendering to.
The same intelligence that put the sun and the moon and the earth at the beautiful distance from each other,
Allowing for life to spring into being on this planet.
So there is only benevolence in God.
There is only goodness in God.
This is what we're saying,
Thy will be done to.
Trusting that its will is for our highest good.
Right?
So now that we've explored a little bit of what it means to be in Thy will be done,
Let's explore what it means to be in my will be done.
Because exploring that makes it more clear what it means to be in Thy will be done.
So my will be done,
My will be done is that I get what I want.
And when I want it and how I want it.
I want exactly every venture,
Every vision,
Every intention to turn out the way I want it to turn out.
Kind of like.
.
.
Let me see if I can give an example of this.
It is very difficult for my mind to move into this.
All right.
So this is an example from my life.
I'm in the process of expansion.
I'm always in the process of expansion.
But in my business,
A dimension of my business is in the process of expansion.
Now my will be done would be me dictating that this expansion,
The end result of this expansion is going to look like this.
I can articulate and describe details exactly what it's going to look like when it's fully manifested.
When it's going to manifest,
I can put it on my calendar that particular day or at that time of day or that month or whatever.
This is when this is going to manifest.
This is the end date of this particular expansion.
And the steps that I will be taking are these.
So we can make plans as to how and when and what.
This is my will be.
And when we don't get it,
If it doesn't show up when we want it to,
If it doesn't look the way we want it to,
If I need to take a detour,
Quote unquote detour,
In other words,
If I need to deviate from the plans that I have made with my finite mind,
With my intellectual mind,
If then we move into resistance,
Complaining,
Bemoaning,
Thinking that something bad is happening,
Thinking that this shouldn't be,
This is wrong,
It should look like this,
It should have come by then,
All this,
You know,
The resistance that we invest so much energy into.
This is my will be done.
Rows,
Or actually lately I'm being prone to lean into lilacs because our garden is so full of them and they're so beautiful.
Blooming season is almost over though.
But let's say lilac seed,
Put in the ground,
And it begins to grow,
It begins to shoot and root.
If it was to say that,
Oh,
By day 215 I'm gonna have this number of leaves and I'm gonna be yay tall,
I'm gonna have this amount of branches,
My flowers are gonna,
It's gonna be this number of flowers and they're gonna have this nuance and they're gonna look like this.
If this doesn't fall out,
I'm not playing no more.
I'm taking my ball and going home,
Right?
So that's my will be done.
Thy will be done is trusting that whatever happens,
Whenever it happens,
However it happens,
Is just perfect.
Trusting that God in its infinite wisdom,
In its omniscience,
Knowing all and seeing all,
Knows exactly and also being the birthplace,
Being the source,
The sole source of everything,
Thus the highest possibility of everything,
That it knows what needs to happen,
How it needs to happen,
And when it needs to happen.
And we get to trust that.
Yes,
We can make plans.
Yes,
We can set intentions.
Yes,
We can articulate and describe what our intentions and visions are going to look like when they manifest.
But we are,
I was gonna say foolish,
And I'm sticking to that.
We are foolish if we believe for one second that we know what is best,
That we know what needs to happen,
How it needs to happen,
And when it needs to happen.
We don't even know how we're gonna get from our apartment or from our house to the store.
We have a general idea based on previous experiences.
But walking out the door,
I have no idea.
Perhaps there's been an accident.
Perhaps the red lights are not working,
So they're constantly red.
Perhaps there's a construction that keeps me,
That prevents me from taking my usual route from my house to the store.
We have absolutely no idea.
When it comes to manifestation of greater endeavors than just walking to the store,
Like calling forth a business or allowing for some other creative endeavor to demonstrate and manifest itself,
Perhaps something needs to happen on the other side of the globe for the conditions to be just perfect and right for the manifestation of whatever it is that we're moving toward.
We have no idea.
And the bigger the vision,
The bigger the intention,
The more we are being called to learn,
To grow,
To expand.
None of that expansion,
Or at least very little of it,
Is something that we can foresee.
But step by step by step,
Just as we're trusting as we are walking to the store,
As we are driving to the store,
That step by step by step,
Just as we are when we're out driving at night on a dark dirt road,
And the only light that we have to light up the road is the headlights of our car.
And they are not stretching too far along the road,
But they light up,
What,
100 yards?
At best,
Perhaps.
But still,
We're trusting.
We're trusting that they will light up enough for us to,
When there comes a curve,
That we will be able to follow the curve.
That when there's a hill where we don't see anything on the other side of the hill,
We will still,
When we come to the top of the hill,
We will see enough.
We're trusting that.
Thy will be done.
So we're so wise to release and let go of micromanaging.
We're so wise to release and let go of controlling,
Of trying to figure out anything.
And just like the lilacs,
Just surrendering to the goodness of Spirit,
To the benevolence of this loving presence that is always for itself,
That is who and what we are,
That is always for itself.
My will,
We're wise to release and let go of.
Thy will,
We're wise to expand,
So that it,
So that Thy will be done,
May be our guiding light in life.
Knowing,
Trusting that all is well,
That something wonderful is happening,
That everything is working for the highest good,
Just as all of nature is in that space.
Nature doesn't figure anything out,
And yet,
Look at how beautiful,
How serene,
How abundant,
Harmonious,
Peaceful,
Still,
Successful,
Prosperous nature is.
Not necessarily by human terms,
But by spiritual terms.
My will be done versus Thy will be done.
We want to live in the Thy will be done space.
So the invitation for us today is to begin to explore,
Where am I trying to make it happen?
Where am I trying to enforce my will,
To have it my way?
And what do I need to release and let go of that?
Thank you so so much for tuning in,
For participating.
Until we meet again,
I bless,
Bless,
Bless your day,
And I bless,
Bless,
Bless your way.
Beautiful,
Magnificent,
Wonderful,
Radiant being.
With much love,
Many blessings.
Namaste.
