It Is Not Our Little Selves That We Are Trusting

As we move along the Path to Freedom, where we continuously are being called to venture into the unknown so that we may forever allow for the next great and grand version and expression of who and what we are to emerge, we are not trusting our own little selves to make anything happen. It is not up to us to make anything happen any more than the acorn makes the oak tree happen. I invite you to join me as we explore the dimension of trust from yet another aspect.

Blessings and welcome to the path to freedom,

This beautiful path that is about us setting ourselves free,

That is about us allowing for the next great and grand version and expression of who and what we are to emerge,

That is about us setting ourselves free to be in ever expanding love and joy and peace and harmony and abundance and wholeness and all these beautiful and magnificent qualities and at the same time that is about us setting ourselves free to,

Not free to,

But free from fear and worry and doubt and all these lower vibrations that the world is so hijacked by,

That humanity as a collective is so hijacked by.

My name is Daniel Rocchio and as always I'm deeply grateful that you are choosing to join me here,

That you're choosing to tune in to this beautiful space,

That you're willing to do this work because this is work,

This is work,

Releasing and letting go of the small and the limited,

The structures,

The fears,

The worries,

The doubts,

The sense of not being enough,

The sense of not having enough,

Fear of spirit,

Fear of God,

This is inner work,

It is all about work and I'm grateful that you're willing to do this work.

So today we are talking about trust,

I mean,

I've said it so many times that as we're moving along this path,

For the freedom that we decide to emerge,

There are two things we need to do,

There are two,

I don't want to call them pillars really,

But there are two foundations upon which this rests.

Ultimately there's only one,

There's only God,

But there are two ways,

Two portals is perhaps a better way of describing it.

There is,

Coming back to the nounness of this moment,

Grounding ourselves,

Sending ourselves,

Anchoring ourselves in that which is now.

That's one portal,

That's one doorway.

The other doorway is trust.

And today we're talking about trust.

And I was having a conversation with an individual a while ago,

And this individual is on the verge of a beautiful expansion,

They're being called to allow for the next great and grand version and expression of who and what they are to emerge,

To midwife that.

However,

They are having some serious doubts as to whether or not they have it within them to do this,

To move into this space,

To move,

To allow for the expansion to take place.

And I was able to remind them,

Or we were having a conversation and I was able to share that as we're moving into the unknown,

Which we're continuously being invited to do,

I mean eternally,

That's why we're all here,

To forever allow for that next and great version of who and what we are to emerge.

But as we are,

As we're saying yes to it,

As we begin to move into that space,

The unknown,

That which we have no frame of reference to,

We're not moving into that space trusting that we can do it,

But we are moving into that,

I mean we could,

We could,

And we would ultimately end up realizing that we absolutely could do it.

But there's,

As it was for this one individual,

There may be a lot of angst,

Anxiety,

Fear and worry,

Turmoil around that.

So we get to do what nature does.

I mean,

An acorn is not trusting its own ability to midwife or to allow for the magnificent oak tree to emerge.

A lilac seed is not trusting in its own ability to allow for the lilac bush to emerge.

I don't think any of us has ever seen a sunflower seed in complete anxiety,

Believing that it is not good enough,

That it does not have what it takes to allow for the sunflower to emerge.

But all of nature is in such deep trust,

Such deep and profound communion with the divine intelligence that is running the show in every single moment.

Now we and nature are slightly different in the sense that we actually have a reflective mind,

We have a reflective consciousness,

We are able to think independently,

We are moving in time in a sense that nature is not.

So we have the ability to think into the future,

To project into the future,

While as nature is completely steeped,

Anchored,

Grounded in the nowness of this moment.

So in that,

In being,

And that's the other portal as I was talking about,

When we are fully present here now,

Because this individual that I was having this conversation with,

They were projecting into the future.

They had abandoned the nowness of this moment,

And they were future tripping,

They were running into the future,

They were turning their attention towards some future moment,

Projecting their own sense of not being enough into that future moment.

Nature does not have that ability,

But nature is here and now in every single moment.

So whatever that acorn is being called to do in this moment,

It does it.

Whatever that lilac seed is being called to do in this moment,

It allows for that to happen.

Whatever that sunflower seed needs to do in any particular moment,

It does it,

Without ever thinking about the next moment,

Or the next moment,

Or the next moment.

But here we are,

Humans,

Trapped in time,

With the ability to venture into some future moment,

And projecting the small and the limited thought patterns,

And perceptions,

And beliefs,

And all of that,

That we carry with us,

That we carry with us into that future moment.

So we're so wise to find a way to release and let go of trusting ourselves,

Because it is not us.

We are not doing anything.

A hen is not making the chicken come into being.

The caterpillar is not the cause of the butterfly.

So we are not the cause of anything.

But when we catch something,

When we catch an idea,

As this individual has done,

They caught an idea or a vision of their next great and grand expression.

That is a seed planted within this individual.

And every time any of us catches a vision,

Or an intention,

Or a dream,

Or a goal,

These are seeds,

As we've been talking about.

These are spiritual seeds planted within us,

And within the seed,

Just as the oak tree is inherently within the acorn,

And just as the sunflower inherently is within the sunflower seed,

And the lilac bush inherently is within the lilac seed.

So it's the highest possibility for each and every single one of our dreams,

And visions,

And intentions.

They are within the seed that is being planted within us.

They inherently are there.

So it is not up to us to make anything happen,

And it's not us doing anything.

It's not us doing anything.

The mere fact that we have caught the vision,

Or the intention,

Or the dream,

Or whatever,

Is proof enough that we have within us,

In this now moment,

We are fully prepared to begin to move in that direction.

And God does not call the prepared,

But God prepares the call.

Which means that when we catch a vision,

It is not because we have everything that we will need.

We do,

In a sense.

But it does not mean that we are the vibrational match for the,

How to put this,

We are not the expanded conduit for this vision to emerge.

We are not there yet.

The we that have expanded,

That has unfolded,

That has grown enough for the full realization of this particular vision,

Or intention,

That us is not here yet.

So none of us come fully prepared for everything,

For anything.

But as we move along,

As we say yes,

As we move in the direction of whatever dream,

Or vision,

Or intention,

We will be prepared.

Everything that we will need,

We will get it,

We will have it when we need it.

Sometimes before,

But at the very latest,

When we need it,

We will have it.

So Spirit,

As I sometimes refer to it,

As the divine gardener,

It knows that when it is planting this seed,

This intention,

This vision,

This dream within us,

It knows that this is the perfect soil for that seed.

Just as a professional gardener here on this planet,

Who's so steeped in what different kinds of seed needs in terms of temperature,

And pH in the ground,

And humidity,

And all of that.

They know which seeds to plant where.

They know which seeds need sunlight,

And which needs to be in the shade.

And so they are,

With their knowledge,

They know which seeds to plant in any particular space in the garden.

And so it is with God.

But God knows that when it is planting a seed,

When it is planting a vision,

An intention,

A dream,

A goal within us,

We are the perfect soil for the highest possibility for that particular vibration,

For that particular expression to come into being.

So it is not in our little selves that we trust.

And that is actually the topic for today.

I don't think I shared it before,

But that is the topic.

It is not in our little selves that we are trusting,

Is actually the topic.

But we get to trust the infinite intelligence,

The goodness,

The benevolence of Spirit,

Absolutely making sure,

Because it is the will of Spirit that we come into our greatest and grandest expressions of ourselves.

That we allow for the highest possibility for us in our lives to emerge.

Because that is how Spirit comes into its highest expression,

In us and through each and every single one of us.

So Spirit will never jip us.

Spirit will never try to con us,

Or double cross us,

Or anything like that.

Spirit is benevolence.

It is goodness.

There is no denial.

There is no no in Spirit.

God is always for itself.

And as God and we are one,

It means that everything is for us.

So as this individual,

At the end of our conversation,

Was resting fully in all is well,

Was resting fully in all is well,

Something wonderful is happening,

I am absolutely able to not do this,

But to midwife,

To allow for this to emerge.

So are we all wise to trust when we catch a new idea,

When we catch guidance as to how to expand,

How to allow for something new to emerge,

When we catch guidance as to how to move into the unknown?

We're wise to trust that it is not in our little selves that we're trusting.

It's not up to us to make it happen.

We are not the ones in the driver's seat here.

But we are in the passenger seat.

We're active and conscious participants.

But it is Spirit that is doing the driving.

It is Spirit that is running the show,

Always,

Forever,

So that we get to trust the Divine Intelligence,

That one mind,

That one source of everything.

Until we meet again,

Until we meet again,
