It Is All About Trust
As we are moving along the Path to Freedom, if ever-expanding freedom is what we seek, if ever-expanding peace is what we desire... it all comes down to the level of trust we have for Spirit. The more we trust that Spirit is all there is, that God is good, and that God is always expressing itself perfectly, the more inoculated we are from the fear, worry, and doubt that are running amok in the world. I invite you to join me as we explore how we can deepen our trust to allow more peace to emerge.

Blessings and welcome to The Path to Freedom.
My name is Daniel Rocchio and as always I'm very grateful and thankful that you are choosing to join me,
That you're choosing to tune in to a moment and a space of expanding our consciousness and raising our vibration in inoculating ourselves from the fear and the worry and the doubt that is running amok in the world.
So much of the world is in a firm grip of fear.
So this is the space,
This beautiful path of freedom and awakening,
This is the path where we get to allow for ever expanding peace and ever expanding joy and ever expanding harmony and ever expanding love and beauty to emerge from within us.
And lately we have been talking a whole lot about practicing,
That in essence we've been saying that the quality of our lives is to a very large extent dependent on what we're choosing to practice.
We're always practicing something.
Some of us are practicing fear and worry and doubt,
Some of us are practicing turning our attention toward what we don't wish to experience.
But as we begin to move along this path,
We're coming into the realization that there are alternatives.
We don't have to practice what everybody else is practicing,
We don't have to perfect what all others are perfecting,
But we can actually choose to practice that which serves us.
So we've been talking about meditation,
We have been talking about gratitude,
We have been talking about prayer,
We have been talking about all these beautiful practices.
If we want to experience the ever expanding peace,
If we want to experience the ever expanding joy,
The joy and the peace that are independent of conditions and circumstances,
If we want to inoculate ourselves,
If we want to fortify ourselves in the peace that passes human understanding,
Allowing us to move through conditions and circumstances that may be challenging,
That may be turbulent,
And still have a level of peace around it.
What I'm beginning to realize more and more and more is that all of this is about trust.
There's a beautiful statement that goes,
Ignorant is the only thing there ever is to blame.
Well,
If we want to blame something,
Which we're wise to not ever do,
But that's a completely different topic,
That's for a completely new beautiful day.
But another way of saying it,
And the way that it has been coming to me lately,
Is that when there is trust,
There is no fear.
So the ignorance that we are seeking to remedy,
The ignorance that we're seeking to break ourselves free from,
Is the misunderstanding,
Or the inability to see who and what God is.
And I choose to say the word God.
We can use the words energy,
We can use the words life with a capital L,
We can use the word universe,
Or infinite love,
Or infinite intelligence,
Or the divine matrix,
Or the unified field,
We can.
.
.
However we choose to name it.
And please be aware that this is not ever a man in the sky,
This is not an external deity that we need to please or appease.
But God,
Or whatever,
Is this loving presence,
It is all that there is.
So walking along this path of freedom,
The freedom that we all seek,
The peace that we all desire,
The joy that we all want to experience in ever greater ways,
It all arises as we move deeper and deeper and deeper into trusting,
Into the knowing and feeling that this loving presence,
It truly is loving,
That it is for itself.
I am in absolute love with nature as a teacher.
And a statement that.
.
.
It's actually a phrase from scripture that goes,
The lily on the field,
It spins not,
It toils not,
And I usually add,
It doesn't struggle,
And it doesn't,
You know,
Effort,
Or try to make anything happen.
And yet,
It is so beautifully provided for.
And all of nature is such a beautiful testimony to that trust.
All of nature inherently knows that all is well.
A tree that is getting caught in a blizzard has no reaction to that.
It has no fears or worries as to what the blizzard might bring.
The tree does not resolve into fight or flight or panic or doom and gloom.
But it is trusting.
It is knowing that all is well.
Yes,
There is a raging storm.
Yes,
There is a freezing cold.
But all is still well.
All is still well.
So trusting.
It is all about the trust.
When there is trust,
Peace arises.
When there is joy,
Peace arises.
Actually,
I was going to say,
When there is trust,
Joy arises.
And when there is trust,
Harmony arises.
But it is when we get caught up,
When we lose ourselves in the stories and beliefs that something bad is happening,
Or that something bad is going to happen,
That this is right or wrong.
When we get caught up in judgments and opinions about that which is on the surface,
And that which is on the surface,
It's not ever the truth of anything.
It is just what seems to be underneath the surface.
I'm reminded now of that song by Pink,
The.
.
.
I don't remember the name of it,
But there are a couple of lines in that song.
She sings that if we get far away from these hills,
They turn into.
.
.
Or if we get far away from these mountains,
They turn into tiny hills.
Or something like that.
And she goes on to sing that the wildflowers,
They keep on living while they're just standing there.
So the surface appearance,
It's all a matter of perspective or perception.
And as we step far enough back to see a bigger picture,
To see the goodness that is always there,
And let me circle back to this,
Because these are.
.
.
I want to explore and share what it is that we're trusting.
That if,
When we step back enough,
When we are able to find a vantage point that is high enough,
We get to see that even in the midst of this calamity or this turbulent condition,
And I'm not saying that there's not suffering,
I'm not saying that things are happening that people are negatively affected by,
Not at all.
Not at all.
But we still get to trust the bigger picture.
So what is it that we are trusting?
Well,
Obviously we're trusting Spirit,
We're trusting God,
We're trusting the universe,
We're trusting life,
We're trusting love,
We're trusting the divine matrix,
We're trusting energy,
Or whatever we want to call it.
We're putting our trust in that.
We're not putting our trust in our finite ability to comprehend,
To see,
To figure anything out.
We're trusting that life,
God,
Spirit,
That it is all that there is,
First of all.
So there are three things that we are wise to begin to cultivate our trust in.
First of all,
That this loving presence,
It is all that there is.
There are no dualities in God,
There are no opposites in God.
God is everything.
God is fully present in every space and place and being and moment and condition and circumstance.
There's not God and something else,
There is only Spirit being itself,
Doing itself,
Expressing itself perfectly in us and through all of creation.
Spirit being the creator and the creation.
That is what we're putting our trust in,
In the allness of Spirit.
What else are we putting our trust in?
Well,
We are putting our trust in the goodness of Spirit.
That this loving presence,
It truly is loving,
It truly is good,
It is benevolent,
It is always for itself.
It's always for itself.
It is completely unable to ever contradict itself or be against itself.
It cannot ever compromise its own nature and the nature of God is givingness,
Givenness and givingness.
It is giving and sharing fully and freely of everything that it is.
It is expressing itself fully and freely everywhere,
Right?
So we're trusting the allness of God,
That God is infinite,
Eternal,
Omnipresent.
We're trusting the goodness of Spirit,
That God is benevolent,
Always for itself and as God is all that there is,
It means that God is always for everything.
And we're trusting the perfection of Spirit,
That God always expresses itself perfectly.
There are no mistakes in God.
There are no meaningless acts in this loving presence.
There are no random acts,
But God always expresses itself perfectly.
Meaning that God is not ever late,
God is not ever early,
But God is always right on time,
Which means that in other words,
Whatever happens,
It is happening by divine design,
By that divine intelligence in a perfect manner,
In a perfect pattern.
Yes,
We may have thoughts as to what should and should not be.
Yes,
We may have our own personal calendar that we want to fit different aspects of life into,
But that's on us.
That's not on God.
God has its own,
I was going to say agenda,
And God has an agenda,
Obviously,
To forever allow for great and grand expressions of itself to be revealed,
To be expressed.
That's God's only agenda.
The only thing that God,
That is the will of God.
What I meant to say was that God has its own calendar,
Its own time schedule,
That is not bending itself around our wishes or our will,
What we see fit,
What we deem as good or bad.
So we get to trust these three,
And when we're faced with any condition,
And when we know that God is right here,
That God is good,
That this is perfection expressing itself,
Regardless of my opinions about it,
Regardless of our judgments about it,
This is perfection expressing itself,
This is exactly perfect.
Then we begin to gradually move from the fear,
From the worry,
From the doubt,
From the resistance,
From the judgments and the opinions,
We begin to gradually move into peace,
Into a sense of harmony,
Even into a sense of gratitude.
Thank you God that I get to experience this condition so that I get to learn.
Remember,
God is always for itself,
God is always seeking to reveal itself in ever greater and grander ways,
In,
As,
And through every single one of us.
So we are here,
The whole purpose of life,
And everything in life,
Is to expand,
Is to grow,
Is to unfold.
So we get to come here to this beautiful earth school where we get to learn.
Every challenge,
Every condition,
Has inherently within it a gift and a blessing of transformation,
Something within it that is beckoning us,
That is urging us,
That is pulling us,
That is inviting us to grow.
So we get to come back to knowing that all is well,
And this is how I practice my trust,
By reminding myself that all is well,
And sometimes I need to add to that,
Peace be still,
Just as a reminder to myself to step out of the stories and the beliefs.
All is well,
So peace be still,
Something wonderful is always happening,
And everything is working for the highest good.
And when we know that,
Then the peace that passes human understanding begins to emerge.
When we truly know that all is well,
Regardless of what it seems to be on the surface,
Regardless of how it looks on the surface,
Then there can be nothing but peace.
Then there can be nothing but joy.
Then there can be nothing but gratitude and harmony and wholeness.
But we need to take the first step.
As that saying goes,
The ego says,
God show me and I'll trust you.
Whereas God says,
Trust me and I will show you.
Trust me and I will show you.
So we need to take the first step.
God is not ever blocking itself off from us.
God is not ever closing itself off from us.
But it is always we that are not making ourselves open and available to receive that which God is fully and freely giving in every single moment.
So the invitation today is to set the intention for all of us,
To set the intention to go even deeper into our trust,
To allow our trusting God to expand.
And the questions obviously are,
What is it that we need to release and let go of for that trust to begin to emerge or expand?
What habits,
Thought forms,
Patterns,
Beliefs,
Opinions,
Judgments,
Stories,
Do we need to release and let go of to allow for more trust to emerge into our lives?
The second question is,
What is it that I need to cultivate or what is it that we need to cultivate or develop within ourselves to move deeper,
Deeper,
Deeper into trusting God?
So these two beautiful questions are guiding us if we lean into them.
So trust,
It is all about trust.
It is all about trust.
Thank you so,
So much for tuning in,
For listening,
For participating.
Until we meet again,
I absolutely bless,
Bless,
Bless all of our days and I bless,
Bless,
Bless all of our ways.
With much love,
Many blessings.
Namaste.
