How are we showing up in the world, and how do we wish to show up? These are powerful questions that we are wise to ask ourselves on a regular basis. What we need to realize is that there is no one and nothing out there that has the power over us, unless we give them that power. Learning to take that power back, is one of the wonderful lessons we get to learn as we move through life. I invite you to join me as we explore these two powerful questions.

Blessings and welcome to the Path to Freedom.

My name is Daniel Roquejo and as always I'm deeply grateful and honored that you're choosing to tune in,

That you're choosing to join me in a moment of expanding our consciousness and raising our vibration as we move along this path,

This beautiful path of freedom,

This beautiful path of awakening.

So today we are exploring a little bit how we are showing up in the world.

And as I'm moving through quite an intense,

I was going to say intense,

That's not at all what I mean,

Quite a profound transformation right now.

This is a very predominant question in my life,

In my consciousness.

How am I showing up in the world and even more importantly,

How do I wish to show up in the world?

As I have moved through life and as I'm now in a state of rebirth,

I get to challenge my own ways of being and we always,

Every single moment is a new beginning.

Every single moment offers a new start,

An opportunity for us to begin again,

To make new choices,

To make higher choices,

To take off in a new direction,

To choose our lives to be about something else than what they may have been.

And they have been like that for a long time,

But in this moment,

Right now,

Right here,

We're all given the opportunity to make new choices.

And so as I'm reflecting on who I have been and going forward,

Who I wish to be as I'm moving through life.

This is a beautiful question.

How is it,

Or actually that's not at all the question.

How do we wish to show up in the world?

That's the question.

And obviously,

It all begins with us taking a good and honest look at how we are showing up in the world right now.

Are we a bundle of joy?

Are we shining our lights?

Are we unconditional in our loving?

Are we compassionate?

Are we forgiving?

Are we encouraging?

Are we being of service,

Of assistance?

Are we leaning into generosity and kindness?

Or are we stingy?

Are we greedy?

Are we irritable?

Are we judgmental?

Are we opinionated?

Are we myopic in the sense that we believe that the world revolves around us and what we need is the most important thing in the whole wide world?

And that we have our needs met,

That we get what we want,

That that's the most important thing in the whole wide world?

So these are beautiful questions that we get to ask.

And obviously,

Always,

When we ask such questions,

When we ask any kind of question,

Whenever we move into self-exploration or self-observation,

We're all invited to be very gentle and loving and kind towards ourselves.

Whatever comes up,

Whatever we become aware of,

Is a blessing.

Whatever we become aware of,

Even if it's something that we perhaps experience shame about or guilt about or being embarrassed about,

Or it may give rise to self-loathing or self-hatred or whatever the case may be.

But we always,

None of these,

Shame or guilt or loathing and blame,

Self-blame,

None of these serve us in any kind of way.

The only thing that they serve is making us feel bad,

Pushing us down,

Beating ourselves up.

There's no transformational value in any of these,

In anything arising from that judgmental vibration and state of consciousness.

So we always want to be loving and kind towards ourselves.

And a good way to be that is to sort of look at ourselves as a small child learning to walk.

So this child has just learned to stand up.

And he's standing there and it's a challenge for him to keep his balance.

It wiggles and it sort of sways back and forth.

And he takes that first very hesitant,

Almost tumbling step.

And he falls.

And he gets up.

He begins again.

And he falls.

And he gets up.

And he begins again.

And he falls.

And he gets up.

And he begins again.

And so he goes.

And we as adults,

Most of us,

Would be very encouraging when he takes that step.

We go,

Yay,

Good job!

Way to go!

And when he falls,

We go,

Oh,

That's all right.

No worries.

Let's try again.

And that's the approach that we want to have towards ourselves.

To be gentle and loving and kind as we explore and as we choose how we wish to show up in the world.

Because we do get to choose.

That's actually what this talk was going to be about.

But we got sidetracked and that's beautiful.

But I want to bring our attention to the fact that we do get to choose.

There's nothing in the external world that can make the choice for us to be in any kind of way.

Yes,

There are egoic structures.

The ego wants to be justified.

The ego wants to be right.

It wants to defend itself and protect itself.

Its false self of self.

False sense of self.

But apart from the ego wanting us to stay put,

To stay where we are,

There is nothing in the world that has the power to make any choice for us unless we give it the power or them.

So whatever conditions we are moving through,

Whatever circumstances we are facing,

Whatever people are saying or not saying to us about us,

Whatever they are doing or not doing,

We still have the sovereign power over our own minds.

We're still gifted with free choice.

The freedom of choice.

Allowing us to make any choice that we wish to in any moment.

To think anything we want to think in any moment.

So it's not like we've been given a script before we came here.

Oh,

You need to play this part and you need to play very well and you need to play from the moment you are grown up enough till the moment you die.

That's not at all.

That's not at all how Spirit works.

But God,

Being love,

Being peace,

Being joy,

Being harmony,

Being abundance,

Being wholeness and beauty and grace,

Spirit is eternally seeking to have more of these beautiful qualities revealed,

Expressed in ever greater and grander ways in,

As,

And through all of creation.

Meaning in,

As,

And through you and me.

So we have a mandate.

We're actually being charged with cultivating,

Expressing,

Revealing that divine light that we are.

The divine love that we are.

The peace that passes human understanding that we are.

The wholeness that we are.

So the question is not,

What is the world doing to us?

How is the world treating us?

That's not the question.

That's the question many of us ask on a regular basis,

But that's putting it all backwards.

That's getting it all backwards.

The question we want to ask is,

What do we want to bring to the world?

How do we want to show up in the world?

When we leave this place,

When we go to wherever it is that we go,

When we're done here,

What do we want people to say about us?

What is the legacy that we want to leave behind?

What are we leaving in our wake?

When we enter a room,

Do we wish for people to go,

Oh my God,

Jesus,

He's here again,

She's here again?

Or do we want them to say,

Oh my God,

He's here again,

She's here again,

I love it!

How do we wish to show up in the world?

Do we wish for people to feel uplifted by our very presence?

To feel inspired?

To feel encouraged?

To feel empowered?

Or do we wish for people to feel afraid?

Contracted?

Feel as though they want to run and hide?

As we're walking down the street,

Are we showing up in a way that people flock around us?

Or are we showing up in a way that people avoid us,

Crossing the street,

Just to not having to pass just by us?

So it's not,

It's not a question of what is the world bringing me?

What is the world bringing us?

But the real question is,

What am I bringing to the world?

You may have heard the talk,

I don't even know what it's called,

But I quoted a story,

Or I shared a story that I've heard someone share with me that when they were growing up,

They had a grandmother or a grandfather who said that if the world was divided into two camps,

The givers and the takers,

Be sure to run to the side of the givers,

And your life's gonna flow beautifully.

I'm paraphrasing a little bit,

I believe,

But the thing is,

We want to show up as a giver.

We want to show up seeking to give more than we get.

And obviously,

When we do,

When we do,

When more of our lives is about giving,

How can I serve,

How can I be of service,

How can I support,

How can I assist?

When more of our lives is about that,

When we turn our attention more to that,

Than to how can I get,

And how can I get more,

And how can I keep what I already have?

When we turn our attention more to being in the giving mode,

We evoke the sacred laws,

Because we are giving from a space of knowing that I have enough.

I am enough,

I have enough.

And that's when we really,

Really,

Really get to enjoy observing,

Witnessing what true abundance means,

What true opulence means,

What true prosperity means.

It's not about stockpiling money or hoarding money,

But it is about participating in a beautiful circulation where all of our needs are met at every level,

All of the time.

So how do we wish to show up in the world?

It doesn't matter how I have showed up.

It doesn't matter how we have showed up.

The sacred laws,

They are impersonal and they are immutable.

They care nothing at all about the past,

Any more than the law of gravity cares about the past.

None of these physical laws,

The law of gravity,

The law of buoyancy,

The law of electricity,

The law of.

.

.

Oh,

There are other laws that don't come to mind right now.

But none of them care anything about who we are,

What we've done in the past,

What kind of degrees we have,

How much money we have in the bank,

Our last name,

The color of our skin,

Our sexual orientation.

They care nothing about that.

All they care about is what we are in vibrational alignment with.

Are we moving in adherence with their principles or not?

So how do we wish to show up in the world?

And beautiful questions to ask once we begin to articulate and describe to ourselves how we wish to show up,

Who we wish to be.

Maybe we've caught that,

Well,

I want to be more loving.

I want to be more forgiving.

Or I want to be more generous.

I want to be more kind.

I want to be more joyous.

Or I want to be more peaceful.

Or I want to get more into being of service.

Once we catch that and begin to articulate and describe that,

Now we get to ask a couple of other questions.

So I know what it is,

How I wish to show up in the world.

I've described and articulated my intention or my vision.

Now the questions are,

This choice that I'm about to make,

This choice that I'm about to make,

Or this choice that I just made,

Is that in alignment with how I wish to show up in the world,

Who I wish to be?

Or is it in alignment with something lesser?

And little by little by little,

By asking these questions,

We get to fine-tune ourselves.

We get to make coarse corrections along the way,

Aligning us more and more and more,

Fine-tuning ourselves more and more and more to that intention,

To that vision that we have begun to catch for ourselves and for our lives.

So this is not about making quantum leaps or making drastic changes overnight,

But it is about incrementally,

Step by step by step,

Moment by moment by moment,

Becoming aware how we wish to show up in life,

Who we wish to be,

And then begin to move in that direction.

So that's our invitation.

The question today that we're invited to ask is,

Who do I wish to be?

How do I wish to show up in life,

In the world?

And then begin to catch the answers to that question.

Thank you so,

So much for tuning in,

For participating,

For listening.

Until the next time,

I absolutely bless,

Bless,

Bless all of our days,

And I bless,

Bless,

Bless all of our ways.

With much love,

Many blessings,

Namaste.
