
Guided Meditation - What Is Here Now?
I invite you to join me in this meditation with the purpose of turning our attention toward that which is here now, in the nowness of this moment. So that we may withdraw our attention from the world of conditions and circumstances.

Blessings and welcome to the path to freedom and this guided meditation.
My name is Daniel Roqueiro and as always I'm deeply grateful and honored that you choose to tune in,
That you choose to join me and that I get to be of service,
That I get to walk with you.
The theme for this particular meditation is come back to now and this of course has to do with how our minds have the tendency to leap off into either past or future.
We regurgitate,
We ruminate,
We live on past glories,
We fear,
Worry and doubt things that may or may not come to pass in the future.
If we want to stay sane,
If we want to experience the peace that passes human understanding,
If we want to be an ever-expanding channel and conduit for love and peace and joy and harmony and all these beautiful qualities,
We need to find a way to come back to this now moment.
So this is what this meditation is all about.
And so in this moment I invite you to make yourself comfortable,
Whatever that means to you,
To put yourself in a position that feels right for you.
Recording stopped.
And I invite you to close your eyes.
And to allow for a smile to play across your face.
This is not a smile of frivolity.
This is not a smile of frivolity.
But this is a smile of healing.
Smiling sends the signal to the body that all is well,
So that it may begin to produce and distribute these beautiful healing and tonic chemicals.
Chemicals that are slowing down the aging process,
That are strengthening the immune system.
So smiling is a beautiful practice.
It's a very simple practice.
Even if we don't feel like smiling,
We can still smile.
We can still smile.
And with that smile still across our faces,
I invite you to turn your attention away from the world,
Away from time,
From past,
Present and future,
Away from conditions,
Away from circumstances,
Away from judgments,
Away from opinions,
Away from stories and beliefs as to what should and should not be.
Away from what has happened to you in the past,
Perhaps.
What someone did or what they did not do.
Away from fantasies about the future.
Doom and gloom or something good,
Something amazing.
Whatever it is,
I invite you to come back to this now moment.
Turning your attention toward the breath.
Realizing,
Acknowledging that the body with its divine intelligence is fully capable of doing the breathing in and of itself.
Which means that you do not need to participate in the breathing.
You do not need to make the breathing happen.
But you can fully surrender to the breathing.
Witness it,
Allow it,
Observe it as it happens.
And I invite you to give each breath that the body takes permission to move you deeper and deeper and deeper into the nowness of this moment.
Now,
The nowness of this moment,
It has nothing to do with time.
It has nothing to do with past.
It has nothing to do with future.
It has nothing to do even with present.
But the nowness of this moment,
It is eternal.
It is beyond time.
It is extemporal.
And in this now moment,
This is where peace is.
Eternal peace,
Infinite peace.
The peace that passes human understanding.
In the nowness of this moment,
This is where love is.
Infinite love,
Eternal love.
In the nowness of this moment,
This is where wholeness and harmony and beauty are.
As you give your body permission to relax even more,
As you with each breath give the body permission to relax,
To release tension,
And where you give your mind permission to come back to this now moment,
Before we move deeper into the meditation,
Spirit is telling me to tell you that you are God's beloved and that in you,
God is well pleased.
And that this is so regardless.
And that God's love is unconditional.
It is agenda-less.
You do not need to prove your worth.
You do not need to prove that you are worthy of this love.
That you deserve it.
But God's love is unconditional,
Just like the sun shines on every man,
Woman,
Plant,
Animal alike.
So is God's love for you unconditional.
I invite you to give your body permission to relax even more.
With each breath,
The body releases tension.
With each breath,
The body relaxes.
So I'm going to ask you a question.
A very powerful question that will bring you even deeper into the nowness of this moment.
And that question is,
What is here now?
What is here now?
That's the question.
And I invite you to begin exploring your left foot.
What is here now?
There are your toes.
Your big toe,
The middle toes,
The little toe.
They are here now.
I invite you to feel them,
I invite you to sense them.
You do not need to do anything with them,
Just be with them.
What is here now?
There's the sole of your foot,
The heel of your foot,
The top of your foot.
These make up the foot,
So your foot is here now.
Sense it,
Feel it.
What is here now?
What is here now?
Now,
I invite you to allow your attention to scan your lower leg.
The shin bone,
The calf.
Sense it ever so gently,
Touch it ever so lovingly with your attention.
Just sense the skin,
The tissues,
The bones,
The muscles.
Become aware of that tingly feeling.
As chi,
As life force,
As energy flows through your lower leg.
What is here now?
I keep allowing your attention to wander upwards.
The knee,
The kneecap.
The ligaments,
The sinews.
What is here now?
Your knee is here now.
What is here now?
Keep moving upward.
So there's the thigh,
The back of the thighs,
The front of the thighs.
Skin,
Muscles,
Bones.
What is here now?
Moving upward,
Your hip is here now.
The pelvis,
Bone meeting bone.
Vitality is here now.
Strength is here now.
Rejuvenation is here now.
Moveability is here now.
Keep moving upwards.
The belly,
The belly button,
The chest.
Be with it,
Sense it,
Feel it.
Your belly may be churning,
Making sounds.
Let's give thanks to it.
Let's be grateful for how beautifully our intestines process the food that we eat.
Making sure that the body gets what it needs in terms of nutrients.
That it disposes of waste.
What is here now?
Divine intelligence expressing itself in us and through the body.
The organs,
The actions,
The functions.
What is here now?
The heart beating.
I invite you to turn your attention to your heart.
Feel it beat,
Sense it beat.
And offer unconditional love to your heart.
For how beautifully,
Magnificently and unconditionally it serves the body.
For how beautifully,
Magnificently,
Powerfully it serves you.
Moving up.
What is here now?
Your left arm.
Your left upper arm.
The elbow.
The lower arm.
The palm of your hand.
The back of your hand.
Five fingers connected through joints that allow them to move.
To grip,
To hold on,
To relax.
Muscles.
What is here now?
Shoulders.
Neck.
Your head.
The jaw.
The nose bone.
The temples,
The skull of your head.
Your forehead.
Eyes,
Eye sockets,
Eyeballs.
Sense it.
Sense it all.
Feel it all.
Love it all.
If your attention wanders to areas of your body that may not be working as you would like,
Where there is perhaps illness or disease,
I invite you to go beyond those demonstrations.
I invite you to go to the health,
The wellness,
The vitality,
The strength,
The movability that is here now.
So what is here now?
Moving down from the top of your head to your neck,
Throat,
To your right shoulder.
What is here now?
Movability.
The strength.
The strength.
Bone,
Meeting bone,
Joints,
Muscles.
What is here now?
Moving down the right arm,
The right upper arm.
Elbow.
Lower arm.
Fingers.
Movability.
Motion.
Strength.
Vitality is here now.
Sense it,
Feel it.
Don't let your mind be hijacked by appearances.
By conditions and circumstances.
Come back to now.
Come back to knowing,
To sensing,
To feeling that which is now.
That which is here now.
What is here now?
A beautiful expression.
Your body expressing health,
Wholeness,
Expressing divine intelligence,
Expressing unconditional love,
Expressing peace,
Harmony in such a beautiful way.
That is what's here now.
Keep moving down.
Chest.
Heart.
Belly.
Pelvis.
Tailbone.
Pubic bone.
All such a beautiful demonstration of the divine intelligence.
That is who and what we are.
That is who and what you are.
That is the source and supply of everything.
What is here now.
Moving down.
Front of the leg.
Back of the leg.
Thigh.
Knee.
Lower leg.
What is here now?
Peace is here.
Harmony is here.
Stillness is here.
Sense it.
Feel it.
Appreciate it.
Give thanks for it.
What is here now?
Love is here.
Spirit is here.
Beauty is here.
Now.
Moving down.
Ball of the foot.
Heel of the foot.
Soul of your foot.
Toes.
What is here now?
God expressing itself in,
As and through.
And through every cell,
Every action,
Every function in your body.
Revealing itself in,
As and through you.
In such a magnificent,
Powerful and beautiful way.
What is here now?
Oneness is here.
Unity is here.
God with skin is here.
Spirit with flesh is here.
Now.
Know that you are unique,
Perfect,
Whole,
Complete expression of God.
Know that the nowness of this moment is ever accessible.
It is always here.
It is eternally present.
So,
Any time that you become aware of your mind having been hijacked by past,
Present,
Future.
You can ask the beautiful question,
What is here now?
So that you can come back to the now.
The holy now.
The nowness of this moment.
Back to the peace that is here.
Back to the joy that is here.
To the wholeness that is here.
The beauty that is here.
Always,
Now and forever.
You are God's beloved and in you God is very,
Very well pleased.
