Blessings and welcome to The Path to Freedom.
The Path to Freedom is all about us waking up to who and what we are.
It is all about us allowing for great and grand expressions of that who and what to emerge.
And it is all about us allowing for the peace and the joy and the love and the harmony and the wholeness and the abundance and the beauty and the intelligence and the creativity,
The bliss,
The ecstasy,
The expansion that is everywhere,
Expressing itself in us and through all of creation.
We allow it to come forth.
We allow it to well up.
We allow it to express itself in us and through us.
So the theme for this session is come back to the breath and begin again.
And if you have joined me in a way of meditation session,
You perhaps remember me saying all throughout the meditation,
Come back to the breath and begin again.
And while I use that in meditation,
That tool,
Which I would absolutely call it,
That tool,
It's like a gem.
It's like,
It's such a powerful tool that we can use not only in meditation,
But all throughout our day,
All throughout our day to sort of extricate ourselves from the world to withdraw from the world,
From the fear and the worry and the doubt,
From the hustle and the bustle,
From the intensity of the world and even from our minds and come back to the nowness of this moment.
Because it is in the nowness of this moment that we find the peace.
It is in the nowness of this moment that we find the wholeness.
It is in the nowness of this moment that we find the abundance and the love and the harmony and the beauty and the intelligence and the creativity.
All these are to be found in the nowness of this moment.
When we step out of time,
When we come back to the Holy Now,
That is where we,
And that is when we come in touch with these divine qualities.
And so the phrase or the tool,
Come back to the breath and begin again,
It is such a powerful tool and such a golden tool to use in any moment,
Not only when we're in meditation,
But in any moment of our day.
And I personally,
I use it,
I can't even count the number of times that I come back to the breath during each and every single day.
And so we have the phrase or the part where we come back to the breath,
Which allows us to come back to the nowness of this moment.
And then the part,
The second part to begin again.
And what this means is that each and every single moment offers a new beginning,
A fresh start.
We may have made whatever choices we may have made up until this moment.
We may have been whoever we have chosen to be up until this moment.
We may have been headed in whatever direction we were heading up until this moment.
But in this moment,
As we come back to the breath,
As we,
When we become aware,
When we stop,
When we turn within,
Have the ability to make a brand new choice,
Have the ability to go off in a completely new direction,
Have the ability to set the intention to create new habits,
To seek to release or let go of something that no longer serves us.
Each moment offers a new beginning.
Nothing in the past has any bearing on this moment and the choices that we're making in this moment.
So each single moment offers a new beginning.
If only we become aware of it,
If only we use that moment to be a new beginning.
We've all been endowed with the gift of independent thinking,
With reflective consciousness,
Which allows us to make any choice at any time.
No one,
No thing has the power to make us choose anything unless we give them power.
Not even our past,
Not even our history,
Not even the stories or beliefs that we may have given power to in the past.
Not even them have the power to make us choose or make us think anything unless we give them that power.
And so as we come back to the nouns of this moment,
As we come back to the breath,
We get to begin again.
We get to make a new choice,
Perhaps a higher choice,
A more conscious choice.
Now making that choice in this moment doesn't mean that everything instantly is going to change,
But making that choice allows for our lives to take a new direction,
To take a new heading.
And so I would invite you to use what I call the moments in between.
And the moment in between are these moments where we're not engaged in something that requires a conscious attention,
Like waiting on something,
On someone,
That's a moment in between.
Walking is a moment in between.
Computing is a moment in between.
Driving can be a moment in between.
Cooking can be a moment in between.
Standing in line can be a moment in between.
If you only turn your attention to them,
You'll find that your day is packed and filled with these moments in between.
And we are so wise,
Especially if we are on the path of awakening,
Especially if we are on the path of freedom,
We are wise to make use,
Make good use of these moments in between.
And I would invite you to get into the habit of using some of your moments in between to come back to the breath and begin again.
It is such a beautiful practice.
It is such a powerful practice.
It allows us to be conscious and to be mindful throughout our days.
So that was it for now.
Until the next time,
I bless,
Bless,
Bless your day and I bless,
Bless,
Bless your way.
Namaste.
