Blessings and welcome to The Path to Freedom.
My name is Daniel Rocchio and I'm always very grateful that you,
Whoever you are,
Whenever you are and wherever you are,
That you're tuning in to join me in a moment of expanding our consciousness,
In a moment of moving along the path of freedom,
The path of awakening,
As would be another name for this beautiful path,
Which is the path where we continuously get to do the inner work necessary for more love and more joy and harmony and wholeness and compassion and kindness and abundance to well up from within us.
The path where we continuously get to withdraw our attention from the world,
Take back our minds,
Take back our attentions,
So that we don't get pulled into the lower vibrations of the world.
So this is a beautiful path and I'm very grateful that you're choosing to do this work,
That you're choosing to walk this path.
So welcome,
Welcome and thank you,
Thank you.
The topic for today is because we can,
We must.
Because we can,
We must.
That has to do with the fact that as we are incarnating here on this planet,
We all come here with the sole purpose of waking up.
That's the only reason for all of creation,
To wake up and to ultimately allow for God to be revealed and expressed in ever greater and grander ways.
That's why creation was created,
For God to express itself more,
Not become more.
Because God already is all that God is,
But to express more of itself.
So all of us who are here,
We're called to walk this path,
To awaken.
All of us are called,
Few of us are answering the call,
Or at least hearing the call.
Let's begin there.
Few of us are hearing the call and even fewer of us are actually answering that call,
Actually saying yes to doing this work.
It takes courage,
It takes discipline,
It takes willingness above all to walk this path,
Continuously dying to the old so that the new may be birthed.
Actually releasing,
Letting go of our stories,
Our perceptions,
Our beliefs,
Our tendencies,
Our habits,
So that new expressions,
New versions of who and what we are come into being.
From a particular perspective,
We're doing this for us as individuals,
Obviously.
It is such a blessing to be walking,
To be moving through life with all the turbulence.
I'm not saying that this is the path where we are in constant bliss and we're happy all of the time.
That's not it at all.
That's not what this is about.
But we do get to be in joy,
We do get to be in peace,
We do get to be in love,
We do get to be kind and compassionate and forgiving toward others,
Even when there's stuff happening.
When perhaps others are treating us in a way that we do not want them to treat us.
Even then we do get to be compassionate and kind.
We do get to hold the space for others who are caught in ignorance,
Who are caught up by the ego and its various structures.
So we're absolutely doing it for us as individuals.
It's a very rewarding path in that sense.
Ever expanding joy,
Ever expanding peace,
Ever expanding love,
And so on.
But ultimately,
We're doing it for all of creation.
As we're one,
As there is only one mind,
There is only one loving presence expressing itself in us and through all of creation,
Every single being and space and place and object and moment.
Which means that when we do what we do,
Whenever any one of us has a realization,
Whenever any one of us has an insight,
Whenever any one of us expands our consciousness,
Whenever any one of us chooses to move from a place of love or trust,
As opposed to a place of fear and worry,
We're sending ripples into the field of consciousness that affects the whole field of consciousness.
So what this means is that any one of us can sit in our own closet,
Literally,
Have an insight,
And that will affect all of humanity.
It will affect all of creation.
So hence the title.
Because we can,
We must do this work.
Those of us who are called,
Who are hearing the call,
Who are answering the call to do this work,
We absolutely must do it for all of the others.
And I'm not judging,
I'm not labeling,
I'm merely observing.
This is an observance that there are some of us who are answering the call,
And there are some of us who are not answering the call.
But those of us who are answering the call,
We must keep on answering the call for all of the others.
Because as we do,
As the light that we all are,
But that are being expressed more through those of us who are answering the call,
As that light grows brighter and brighter and brighter,
It will affect all of humanity.
And humanity needs to wake up.
Humanity needs to wake up.
We need to get away.
We need to release and let go of the notion,
Of the sense that I am not enough,
That there is not enough,
The greed,
The hoarding,
The animosity,
The negativity,
The hatred,
The fear,
The worry,
The doubt.
Humanity needs to wake up from that.
Humanity needs to have a collective conscious expansion where love,
Kindness,
Compassion may begin to emerge so that we all may live in a world that works for everyone.
So that we all may live in a world where everybody has what they need.
Where all needs are met.
Not only for a small few,
But for all beings.
And not only human beings,
But all beings,
Including this beautiful planet,
Mother Earth,
Gaia.
Because we are exhausting resources.
We are exploiting the planet.
We're exploiting humanity in a way that is,
And this is no news at all,
I'm guessing,
But in a way that is not sustainable.
So we need to do this work.
We need to do this work.
We need to sit in meditation.
We need to pray.
We need to bless.
We need to study.
We need to hang out in high fellowship.
We need to allow this field of love,
Of peace,
To expand.
For all of those who are not doing this work.
For all of those who have not yet woken up and realized that fear,
Worry,
And doubt is not the only state of consciousness.
It's not the totality of existence.
But there's something beyond that.
So yes,
It may seem and it may feel as though there's a burden on our shoulders.
And it is.
We have chosen to come here for this.
It's no accident that we're here.
There's no coincidence that we are here.
There's no randomness at all,
Anywhere in creation.
But there's a beautiful divine order,
Perfect order,
Perfect timing happening always,
Perfect action happening always.
But this is the path that we have chosen and we need to honor it and we need to walk it to the very best of our ability,
Even when it's not comfortable.
Even when there's discomfort,
Even when we're not feeling too good,
We still need to do it.
Because every single moment that we move out of fear and into love,
Out of worry into trust,
When we act from compassion,
When we act from kindness,
It's like a cup of tea or a cup of hot water.
We have a cup of hot water,
We put the tea bag in,
And the tea bag infuses the whole cup.
It doesn't just infuse one third of the cup.
Or if the cup had corners,
It doesn't just infuse the top right corner.
But the tea infuses the whole cup.
Similarly,
If we have like a bucket of water,
Every drop of water added to the bucket affects the level of water in the bucket.
So enough drops of water will make a tangible,
Visible difference where the level of water is concerned.
Another beautiful expression is high tide lifts all boats.
So in a marina,
There may be a low tide,
And the boats are quite low in comparison to the ground.
But when the high tide comes in,
All boats are lifted.
So that's the feel of consciousness,
The unified feel of consciousness.
The absolute one and only feel of consciousness that we're talking about.
These are analogies and ways to illustrate why the work that we're doing is so important.
So we need to do it.
We must do it.
If we don't do it,
It's not going to get done.
God is not going to swoop in and save us all.
God is not going to come down and rescue humanity.
Nope.
That's not how God works.
But we are here as emissaries,
As instruments of God.
Having been given the free will,
We need to choose to do this work.
Yeah.
So this is what we've signed up for.
And I love it.
I mean,
It's beautiful.
Just the individual rewards are enough for me to do this.
But then I get to add on to that,
That this is not only about me,
But this is about humanity,
This is about the planet,
This is about consciousness as the one united feel.
And I get to be a part of that.
I get to be a part of evolution,
A conscious part of evolution,
Which I love.
So I wouldn't trade this for anything,
Even on the days when I'm not quite feeling it,
When there's a lot of resistance,
Where there's a lot of,
Oh,
Could I just tuck myself in bed and sweep the cover over my head?
Even on those days,
I do come back to being grateful that I get to do this.
I get to do it.
I'm choosing to do it.
Yeah.
So I'm very grateful that you are choosing to do it.
I'm very grateful for your commitment,
For your willingness,
For your having said yes to be on this path and to walk this path with its ups and downs and twists and turns and swirls and all of it.
So I'm looking forward to meeting you next time.
