Greetings,

This is a fall equinox meditation guiding you to celebrate your personal harvest.

Take some time to find a comfortable place that you can stay for the next 10 minutes or so.

You can add any cushions or grab an extra jacket or blanket,

Whatever you need to help this meditation feel supportive.

I invite you to gently close your eyes or perhaps soften your gaze.

Let your body be supported by your chair or by your props and take a moment to notice the quality of your breath,

Not trying to change anything,

Just noticing.

We'll take a full breath out through the mouth,

A steady breath into the nose,

Full breath out through the mouth,

Breathing in to the nose,

Breath out and in,

Returning to your natural breath.

The fall equinox is an indication that summertime is coming to an end.

This time of high energy,

High output and depending on your distance from the equator,

It can mean long summer days.

Perhaps this summer season you have been tending a project or a contract,

Maybe nurturing new habits or new patterns.

Take a few rounds of breath to consider your personal harvest that came from your effort,

Dedication and persistence this summer season.

If you could imagine the fruits of your labor,

Of your love,

Would they make a sound with the blowing wind?

What would your fruits look like in the sunshine,

In the shadows?

What would they smell like,

Taste like,

Feel like at the tips of your fingers or nestled in your warm embrace?

Allow yourself to explore the sensory imagery of the fruits of your labor and love.

With your next exhale,

I invite you to start to let that imagery go,

Those smells and tastes,

Sounds and feelings of the fruits of your labor and love.

You will end our meditation with an affirmation to celebrate all that you have accomplished.

I am imperfect,

But I am patient.

My dedication has nourished the soil from which I harvest.

Fruits of my labor and love,

Tangy or sweet,

They are mine to celebrate and adore.

I am imperfect,

But I am patient.

My dedication has nourished the soil from which I harvest.

Fruits of my labor and love,

Tangy or sweet,

They are mine to celebrate and adore.

I am imperfect,

But I am patient.

My dedication has nourished the soil from which I harvest.

Fruits of my labor and love,

Tangy or sweet,

They are mine to celebrate and adore.

I am imperfect,

But I am patient.

My dedication has nourished the soil from which I harvest.

Fruits of my labor and love,

Tangy or sweet,

They are mine to celebrate and adore.

In recognition that nothing is truly done alone,

Our last round of affirmation will shift individual action into collective.

We are imperfect,

But we are patient.

Our dedication has nourished the soil from which we harvest.

Fruits of our labor and love,

Tangy or sweet,

They are ours to celebrate and adore.

Allow this affirmation to wash over you like gentle waves of an ocean.

Let your waves slowly subside.

I invite you to slowly start to wiggle your toes or your fingers.

You might twist your head from side to side.

And if your eyes were closed,

You can slowly start to open them.

Thank you.
