Revealing The God Presence Within

Okay, Just start off taking some nice, Slow, Deep breaths, Conscious breaths. Down to your belly, Hold at the top, And slow exhale. Sometimes it's hard to have thoughts when you're breathing consciously, It's hard to get drawn into that stream of consciousness that we all seem to have. And the deeper we get in a conscious breath work practice, The more our mind seems to slow down. It's actually quite a relief, It's a relief for me, That little me, And I get to feel myself deeper than the level of thought, Though it actually feels kind of superficial. As you're breathing out, Just imagine you're sinking deeper into the seat you're sitting in, Into the bed you're lying in, Whatever's supporting you, Whether it's you're lying on the floor, Just imagine with each out breath, You're sinking deeper, Sinking deeper into your center. You can even imagine as you're breathing in, You're breathing in new life force, New light, New energy. And as you exhale, You're breathing out the old, Perhaps what no longer serves, Perhaps that old consciousness that is, Gets stuck in streams of consciousness, Future and past. You really start to inhabit this moment, This body in this moment, This presence, This life force that pervades your entire body, That animates your entire body, And see if you can, From this relaxed place within, Just inhabit this moment as fully as you possibly can. And as you're dropping deep within your structure, The structure of your body, Feeling the inner body, The energy body, The light body, See how deeply you can drop into that body, Again into your center. You need to let out a sigh on that out breath, Can it really help to release tension? Let's do some sighs, You can stretch your body. Let's do one more. Okay, So check this out. Seems like humanity has been going through somewhat of a transformation for quite some time. You could even say, Arguably, For thousands of years at this point, Possibly even longer in recorded history, We could say, Well, We're in 2024, Since apparently Jesus was here. About two and a half thousand since the Buddha, Lao Tzu, According to Eckhart Tolle in The New Earth, It's a wonderful book. You consider those souls almost like precursors, Rare flowerings of human beings that are connected to the divine, Kind of like enlightened, Well, Not kind of, Actually enlightened beings. And they've inspired the great religions, There's been others that probably haven't got, They've been unknown. And there's probably, I'm assuming, We're at a point now where there's, As things have got crazier, There's also this undercurrent of humans waking up. Humans really seeking themselves. And lots of people emerging as teachers, Coaches, That sort of thing, All with varying degrees of connection to themselves, To the universe, To the light, To God, All those different names pointing toward the same thing. These are all just sounds that we make to each other in order to try and communicate this greater reality. It's difficult to communicate something so profound and so personal, And yet impersonal. Because that transformation happens within us, Doesn't happen anywhere outside for it to have any meaning. Sure, We can have our spiritual kind of identities, Which, You know, We can talk that talk, So to speak. It's like, Oh, That guy's really spiritual. But then that spiritual guy, Like myself, Can have some problems, Shall we say. So it sort of looks a bit like, Oh, Is that person really that? But ultimately that person is that. Because it's not so much of a person, It's more the being, The being starts to emerge. And the person is almost like that old self, That identity self, That self that is actually in the stream of consciousness, In mind, In past and future. So within each of us there's this almost like a wrestle, Shall we say, Between that consciousness, That ego that wants to remain in control, Even though there's not a lot of control there. Because, Well, For me, That ego struggles to control his thoughts, Can go off on the tangents of thinking about what may be ahead. And there's a kind of almost like anxious quality to that, Because he's not very relaxed. He tends to think about scenarios that he doesn't want. Talking in the third person, Which sometimes is a bit weird. But what if that identity of who I think I am, My reactions, That thinker himself isn't actually me? Looking for the deeper I. What if that person, That conglomeration of your thoughts and your feelings, Your likes and your dislikes, All those sorts of things that makes up mental content, Isn't actually you? Just take that in for a sec. The thinker isn't me. What I identify with, Who I identify as, Isn't actually me. Is that thought liberating? I find it liberating. This moment is all that's actually real. The rest is just noise, Fictional noise. It keeps a false sense of self alive. Again, Just taking some slow deep breaths, Conscious breaths, Coming back into presence. Not getting caught up in that stream of mind again. So, It feels like, Again, There's that wrestle between your presence that is emerging, Your light that is emerging, The real self that is emerging. And that self, Just ponder that for a moment. What do we know about that self? That higher self. That self exists in this moment. That self is in the background of all your moments. It says there when you're a little boy, When you were born, You're a little girl, You're being a child. Before that real identity self is kicked in strongly, Before we're fully identified with our minds and our likes and dislikes, We just are. One of the joys of parenting is we can be brought into that presence via the vibration of our children who are, Just are, Until we start to control them, Until we start to, In our education, Our great need to educate our little kids. We educate them out of the present. We fill their little beautiful brains and hearts with how the world works. We get them to equate that name that we give them with who they actually are. And who they are is, We're much closer to that pure expression of the universe of God, Of the One. So I think we can all agree that that seems to be wanting to wake up within us. Otherwise we wouldn't be having these conversations. There wouldn't be a ton of different people out there all pointing toward the same kind of story. So given that this is emerging, And it's emerging now, But yet we're also in this wrestle, We could refer to this presence that's emerging as the I am. And I'm sure many have heard this before about the I am. So before I am this or that or Dan or a dad or whatever you want to put after it, You've got all the different things that we could put on our job title. I am this. I am a healer. I work in real estate. I'm a coach. I'm a whatever, Hairdresser, Doctor. All the different things that we can put next to the I am. So we're trying to actually get to that presence. How do we get there? It's just here. Before we've attached anything to it. Just tune into that I am. You can say it. I am. I am. I am.
