The 8 limbs of yoga by Patanjali is a significant piece of creating the union with God during the practice of yoga and meditation. It's important for people that practice to understand what are the yamas, which is how we interact with the people in the world. It's coded as our restraints, our self-regulated capacities that is needed to learn while practicing yoga and meditation. The chakras are the "wheels" that sit in certain areas of the body. These energy centers hold answers to our internal questions but when blocked we can't hear them. When we combine the yamas with the chakras, you change your thinking and you hear the internal messages more clearer. By having this knowledge of both the person that is practicing yoga, chanting and meditation will bring forth attention to best understand themselves, which, helps them reach thier highest self and holy place.

Inhale and exhale down the spine,

Bringing the navel center up and in.

Inhale again and exhale down the spine into the root chakra.

Sitting tall,

Dropping the shoulders,

Lifting the chest.

Chin is parallel to the ground.

Or if you choose,

You can lie down for this meditation,

Finding a quiet,

Safe space.

Just allow your body to relax,

Controlling your mind as best as possible.

And just fall deep into this meditation about satya and the throat chakra.

Satya's truthfulness,

It is when you can have loving communication,

It is when you decide to be honest.

It is when you amaze yourself by letting go of your mask.

With the throat chakra,

When that area is weak in loving communication,

Honesty,

And when you are wearing lots of masks,

You have trouble finding your areas of expression.

You have trouble finding comfortable spaces.

You have a very hard time describing your abilities.

There is some discrepancies of locating the place where your insecurities live.

You sustain away from acknowledging you are afraid or fearful.

Other people's opinions and judgments hurt you very easily.

Now as you sit in this space,

Sitting in one of the yamas,

Satya,

And connecting to your throat chakra,

Dig down deep into your truthfulness and the ethers,

Connecting to your center of truth.

Imagine what your truthfulness look like.

Hear how you speak being honest,

Taking off the mask.

See yourself creating your healthy self-expression.

Go deep.

What does that look like?

What are you doing?

See yourself interacting as you self-express yourself with no mask on.

Live in it.

Imagine it.

Love it.

Because this is you.

Begin to feel from the tips of the toes to the crown of the head inspired and begin to feel your heart center,

God's will for you.

And as you sit in this inspiration and total embodiment,

Begin to accept you are who you are.

But you are learning to become a better person.

And as you sit in satya searching for your truthfulness,

Losing your mask,

And finding loving communication,

Begin to immerse yourself and chant with me for the next three minutes.

The chant is a beautiful kundalini chant.

It's about truth and identity.

In order to search for your truth,

The word is sat.

And in order to bridge it in with your identity,

It is nam.

Eyes are closed.

Body is relaxed.

It is the seed mantra.

So let's plant your truth and identity and let's lose your mask indefinitely.

Inhale and exhale.

And let us begin.

Inhale to begin.

Sat nam.

As you sit in this space,

Become one with your truthfulness.

Become one with loving communication,

Inspiration,

And pure honesty.

Make a commitment in this moment you will no longer wear any mask.

And you will feel inspired and embodied by God's will to accept you are who you are,

But you're learning to become better.

All together,

Inhale and exhale.

May you have a blissful,

Bountiful,

And beautiful day.

Saaatnaam.

This meditation grounds me deeply into my truth and invites me to authentically live my truth. Whenever I go through it, I find myself more grounded and less afraid. To stick with the meditation dialogue itself, like any mask I have on is falling off. Revealing my authentic self. I feel very blessed to have found this meditation, thank you πŸ’™

Felt great connection although being more of a talk ending with a 3 min. chant. Intensive and insightful. Highly recommendable.
