
Not Knowing
The mind moves really fast. It goes to the moon, it has the capability to find solutions, and look at the risks. Not knowing creates discomfort, it triggers confusion and sometimes a perspective of incompetence. In this session, we embrace Not Knowing. May we remain curious and open?

And so on this day it's 30th of november 2022 and i'm with gratitude for everyone expressing the needs at the present moment i have heard the need for depressed relaxation coming into the body i have heard the need to maybe release the works of the mind just letting the mind pause a little bit from the endless trying of making sense of what is happening also perhaps looking for some motivation as well especially when there is sense of maybe laziness maybe depression maybe whatever resistance and obstacles are there that are preventing us from doing there is also already inspiration present from the sense of togetherness being here with the community knowing we are not alone and most of us really looking for some ease in finding a better way of self-care the ever-changing environment and so with all of that present we just recognize that right here right now even though we are all different parts of the world and different parts of the city right here right now you are sitting you are breathing and gently inviting thoughts to slowly ease and gather to right here right now just so that you can find some rest there are moments when the mind will want to take over to figure things out and the mind would really want to quickly get into the place of ease happiness satisfaction fulfillment and then begins to struggle and resist all that is present let's just acknowledge how easy it is for the mind to imagine a different state when we are inside mind can just very quickly step outside go really really far can go to the moon can go to the beach can be together with those that we are longing to be connected with can go into the past into the future so gently acknowledge very easy that your mind is really longing to be right now sometimes the mind can be also just be attached to wanting to do and do and do and create and create so almost like inertia if you're noticing the rhythm of your thoughts perhaps fighting against what it is and gently place your hand over your chest or your belly or any other soothing place where you can just acknowledge how hard it is this awareness that mind is longing to be free and yet keeps being trapped perhaps your mind is frozen numb so there's almost sense there is nothing inside and yet when you connect with your body you have a sense of being frozen just gently recognizing that too is not really a peace or ease and letting that part of you that has a soft soothing voice the one that has full capacity to hold on and accept everything that is present let that part of you softly whisper into your mind thank you thank you for trying trying so hard to find the way out i really do see all your attempts all your attempts and then gently invite the mind to consider willingness to just for now for the next 15 minutes or so if you could step on the side just accept that it's okay right now not to seek for any solutions and right now it's okay just to notice how your hands are placed perhaps on your chest your belly or your lap then as if inviting a dear old friend to enter a sacred space letting that part of the mind that is capable of soothing compassionate presence gently come in into your heart and visit any part of the body that might need attention right now gently checking in if there is any tension any discomfort and allowing the body to also speak and say what might it need right now does it need to sit straight or lie down or even stand up and you may notice that that part of the mind that is attached to problem solving can come back again and again and just gently when you notice that happening just let it know not now right now we are just sitting just breathing the only place to be is right here and right now place to be is right here and right now perhaps from time to time there might be some questions what's the point where is this taking me why should i i'm noticing that in a desire to really know where things are taking us and our actions sometimes you just sit so that we can embrace this not knowing how could you gently open up to this space of really not knowing not knowing what is the best way not knowing how to take care of yourself not knowing if you should leave or stay gently letting yourself become aware which part of your body responds to acceptance of not knowing which part of your body resonates as you softly whisper into your own ear your own ear it's okay not to know not knowing is part of life and coming back inside into awareness how breath comes into your body and noticing that there's nothing you have to know in order to breathe even though each and every one of us found it really difficult the first day of our lives and yet look close how skillful we are in breathing just for the moment let yourself experience this incoming and outgoing breath the ease of that happening over and over again nothing to do nothing to know just letting it happen you may notice some emotions coming up as you go into this space of stillness acceptance could you name the emotions if they are present and if you don't know what their name is could you accept that it's giving yourself space to be aware that that something is present and then coming gently back to your breath and noticing the rhythm the spaciousness of your lungs opening and closing and then one more time coming back to your heart and checking in what is the smallest action that you could take to really take care of your heart just pause for a moment letting this quiet voice give you any signal give you any signal what does your heart need right now perhaps you receive the answer or perhaps there is still not knowing present whatever is alive could you accept that as well it's just that kind of the moment gently acknowledging exhaustion question questioning laziness depression questioning confusion irritation all of that is present even when it's not active just these seeds are just coming in and as they become at the forefront of our awareness and the key focus gently acknowledge just like these seeds are there there are also other seeds present peace joy acceptance belonging love just like sun still shines even when it's dark one part of the world it doesn't mean there is no sun it's just not time for it all to come and bring light just yet and sometimes we are looking for already grown up plants and all these proofs that the seeds that are related to love and happiness and motivation and creation perhaps we just need to start from a very tiny little thing like appreciating some good qualities that we have just noticing how hard you are trying and how human it is to experience all that you're experiencing right now so better what others do in order to prevent your body from moving nobody and no one can lock down your mind lock down your mind and then gently releasing practice perhaps offering yourself a hug just for this moment as a reminder that you can always come back to yourself just for a moment of rest and then whenever you're ready coming again to our space you're ready to also open your camera and mute yourself and perhaps we can hear from everyone on what is alive right now and i will stop the recording so
