This meditation was born out of a moment of overwhelm. One morning, I wanted to meditate, but my mind was racing with everything else I thought I should be doing—reading, exercising, praying for countless things—all within a 30-minute routine. I knew I couldn’t do it all. I am a finite being. So, instead of chasing an impossible list, I chose stillness. Just eight minutes of presence. And in that stillness, I found peace. If you’re feeling pulled in too many directions, I invite you to pause with me. Let’s embrace the power of simply being—even if just for a few moments.
