Welcome back.
My name is Laura and this is Cultivate Your Wellness.
Sometimes the world feels like it's spinning so fast and our own momentum gets caught up in that speed whether we like it or not.
This meditation is an opportunity to turn down the dial and reset.
Let's begin.
Taking a moment to settle in.
Finding a comfortable position that works for you.
Inviting length to the spine.
Dropping the shoulders away from your ears and closing the eyes or softening your gaze.
Taking a deep breath in and letting it out as you check in with the muscles of the face,
The area around your eyes,
Your jaw,
Your tongue.
Inviting them to relax as you continue to breathe and scan down your body.
Noticing what needs to let go just a little bit more.
Finding some softness where you can.
Finding yourself already dropping into stillness.
And turning your attention to the breath,
That which has been with you this whole time.
That which has been with you this whole time.
Noticing the air entering your body.
Feeling the chest and belly expand and feeling them drop down again as the air exits through your nose or mouth.
Once again,
Feeling the breath,
Hearing the sound it makes,
The sensations you feel as it continues to flow.
In and out.
In and out.
In and out.
Feeling your body taking up space.
Each breath creating more expansion.
In and out.
Allowing the breath to flow at a rhythm that feels good and has intention.
And if you notice a muscle beginning to tighten up again,
Send the breath there.
Invite the breath to create space for all your energy to move through.
Releasing the tension.
Allowing yourself to take up as much space as you need.
There is no need to constrict.
Take up space.
And if the mind begins to wander,
Remember there is nothing else to do in this moment except inviting in this gentle pause.
This opportunity to step out of the whirlwind and be still.
Letting everything else turn without you.
Without your attention.
Without your opinion.
Without your service.
Just for a few more minutes.
Offering to yourself this moment.
Connecting with your own energy.
Using the breath to create space for you to take up.
Still,
Open,
Safe space.
Accepting whatever comes up.
Acknowledging whatever you feel.
Embracing all that is.
And returning to the breath whenever you feel yourself drifting.
Follow the breath in and out.
Being the observer.
Letting go of the need to act,
To fix,
To solve.
Just being.
Just noticing.
Slowing down.
Softening where you can.
Following the breath.
Creating space.
Leaning into the sensations.
Letting go.
I'll give you some time to explore this on your own.
I'll call you back when it's time.
Feeling free to pause the video and taking as much time as you need in stillness.
Otherwise,
Returning once again to the sound of my voice.
Preparing yourself to begin again.
Connecting with the breath.
Taking it in as you expand the chest,
Lifting the chin,
And opening your arms out wide.
And slowly letting the breath out and letting your body once again return to neutral.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
Thank you so much for taking this pause with me today.
I am so grateful for you.
And I hope the space you've cultivated here stays with you throughout your day.
Remember,
You always have the breath to return to.
No matter where you are,
No matter what you're doing,
You can always pause and follow the breath.
Invite in that space,
That softness,
That stillness.
I'd love to hear from you.

Be well,
My friend.
Bye for now.
