Take a deep breath and return to yourself. In this guided meditation, we’ll slow down, tune in, and reconnect with the joy that already lives within us. As we settle into the present moment, we’ll explore the dreams and passions that once lit us up—allowing ourselves to imagine, daydream, and take small steps toward creating the life we desire. No matter where you are on your journey, joy is always available to you. Let’s rediscover it together. Let me know in the comments—what’s one dream or joy you’re reconnecting with this week?

Welcome back.

My name is Laura and this is Cultivate Your Wellness.

Today we are going to connect with the dreams and joys that may be quietly waiting for us.

Through this practice,

We'll step out of the autopilot of everyday life and return to the present where joy begins,

Where imagination lives and where we can begin to create the life we truly desire.

Let's get started.

Let's first take a moment to settle in,

Finding a comfortable position,

Whether sitting up or lying down.

Gently closing your eyes or softening your gaze and bringing your attention to the sound of my voice,

Allowing this meditation to guide you.

Taking in a long deep breath and as you exhale,

Feel your body begin to soften.

Again,

Breathing in deeply and breathing out,

Letting go of anything you may be holding.

Continuing to breathe.

Each exhale,

Inviting in a sense of calm and openness.

And each exhale,

Releasing anything that doesn't serve you.

Relaxing the jaw,

Softening the shoulders,

Unclenching the hands,

Allowing the breath to flow easily and naturally.

Now imagining yourself standing in a wide open field,

Surrounded by golden light.

The air is crisp,

Filled with possibility.

This is a space just for you.

A place where your heart is light,

Your mind is free,

And your dreams are waiting to be remembered.

You begin to walk,

Feeling the earth steady beneath your feet.

In the distance,

You notice a small table waiting for you.

As you approach the table,

You see that it holds an empty journal and a pen inviting you to write.

You pick up the pen and the words flow effortlessly.

Dreams you once had,

Joys you once felt,

Passions that still stir within you.

As you write,

A warmth fills your heart,

Reminding you that joy was never lost,

Only waiting to be rediscovered.

You set your pen down and find a place to sit and reflect on the things you experienced.

You take a deep breath,

Feeling lighter and inspired.

Knowing that joy is not something distant,

But something you can step toward,

Even in the smallest of ways.

I'll leave you here for a few quiet moments.

Simply breathing,

Simply being,

Allowing the joy you're cultivating to linger.

Gently bringing your awareness back to the sound of my voice.

Back to your body.

Back to this moment.

Remembering the thoughts and joys that you wrote in the journal in this meditation.

Perhaps setting the intention to bring those dreams with you.

Bringing them closer to the reality that you exist in every day.

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

Bringing some gentle movements to your body.

Feeling the surface beneath you and the air around you.

And when you're ready,

Softly opening your eyes.

Thank you for being here today and taking this time to reconnect with yourself.

May you carry this sense of joy and possibility with you as you move throughout your day.

And thank you as always for giving me the opportunity to guide you.

Bye for now.
