This 10-minute guided meditation is an opportunity to take a much needed pause, dive inward, and meditate on the joys in your life. I'll guide you through most of it, then give you some time to practice on your own. Remember, you always have the breath to guide you.

Welcome back.

My name is Laura,

And this is Cultivate Your Wellness.

Checking in with your body and making any adjustments you need to get comfortable as we close our eyes or soften the gaze and turn our attention inward.

Connecting with the part of our consciousness that sees without seeing,

Hears without hearing,

Feels without the sensation of touch.

The part of ourselves that observes,

That experiences,

That is aware.

And sitting up nice and tall,

Bringing in the breath slowly and with intention,

Feeling the space it creates with the inhale and the softness that comes with the exhale.

Once again,

Breathing in,

Feeling the space,

And breathing out,

Letting go.

One more time,

Breathing in,

Holding for a moment,

Being aware,

And breathing out,

Softening the spine,

Relaxing into stillness.

Staying connected and aware as you release the breath into its natural rhythm,

Remembering that you can always use the breath to come back to the present when the mind or the body become distracted,

And they will from time to time,

And that's okay.

Each time we realize we've drifted,

We come back to the breath with a smile,

Inviting it to create space with the inhale and softness with the exhale.

And while we're smiling,

Bringing to mind something that brings you joy.

It could be as simple as a single flower or as grand as an entire homestead.

Seeing it now with your mind's eye,

Hearing the sounds,

Smelling the scents,

Feeling the joy it brings to your heart,

And sitting a while with this beautiful delight that you are so fortunate to experience,

Inviting that joy to fill your whole body.

And maybe you stay only here,

Or maybe you jump to another joy,

Another part of this universe that makes you happy,

Connecting to the sights and sounds and sensations,

The emotions it brings.

Feeling so grateful it's there for you to experience,

To connect with,

To have in your heart.

And perhaps repeating the words,

I'm grateful for you,

Grateful for the joy you bring to my life,

I am grateful for this moment.

And I'll give you another minute or two to explore these delights on your own.

I'll call you back when it's time.

As my voice returns,

I invite you again to paint a smile on your face,

Feeling gratitude for this gentle pause and the opportunity to connect in the present and with the joys of your life.

And taking another deep breath in slowly and with intention,

Holding it for a second before you let it pour out,

And inviting in some gentle movements as you open your eyes and begin again.

Thank you so much for meditating with me.

I hope you'll return again soon.

I'm grateful for you,

And I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.

Be well,
