We come together now as a community,
One with another,
To share our joy of life and to reaffirm our feelings for the gods.
The Lord and Lady have been good to us.
It is meet that we thank them for all that we have.
Here at last our circle is cast with light upon the ground.
We call upon the elements to guide our magic all around.
God and Goddess,
Bless us and our rite,
To guide us and give to all insight.
I call you now,
Attend to me.
This is my will,
So might it be.
Gnomes of the East,
Element of air,
Gentle breezes that remind us of a flute's melody,
I do summon,
Stir,
And call you up to witness these rites and guard this circle.
Hail and welcome.
Gnomes of the South,
Element of fire,
Fire that keeps lanterns glowing while stewards of the earth go about their tasks,
I do summon,
Stir,
And call you up to witness these rites and guard this circle.
Hail and welcome.
Gnomes of the West,
Element of water,
Water that brings the constant flow of life to nature and to all beings.
I do summon,
Stir,
And call you up to witness these rites and guard this circle.
Hail and welcome.
Gnomes of the North,
Element of earth,
The earth stands strong because of the diligence of gnomes.
I do summon,
Stir,
And call you up to witness these rites and guard this circle.
Hail and welcome.
Father Moon,
Provider of life itself,
Protector of the Wicca,
We ask that you will attend our circle and bless our rites.
Hail and welcome.
Father Sun,
Lord of all that's wild and free,
We ask that you attend our circle and bless these rites.
Hail and welcome.
I call upon the ancestors of this place and tradition,
Teachers of the old ways revered by those now present and so many more.
We ask that you will attend our circle and bless our rites.
Hail and welcome.
I call upon the keepers of the earth,
Those who keep vigil over this terrain and befriend all wildlife,
The gnomes of this land.
We ask that you will join us in this circle,
Which we hold in your honor.
Hail and welcome.
And it harm none,
Do what you will.
It is the Wiccan read,
We fear no foe,
For love we show,
In thought and also deed.
May the stars above and the earth below bless this place and time.
Let us all be gathered here in perfect love and perfect trust.
We consecrate one another in the names of the God and Goddess,
Bidding us welcome to this their temple.
Enter we now,
A place that is void of space and time,
A gateway between the worlds.
This circle is now hallowed.
Hand to hand,
With none being last,
Surrounded by gnomes,
This circle is cast.
So mote it be.
Keepers of the trees and gardens,
Friends and caretakers of the animals,
Gnomes we call to you.
We come to you in love and friendship,
Our intentions pure.
We ask not favors.
We seek to create an alliance with you in the care of the earth and all living things.
We come to you seeking your knowledge and love of life,
Of all life.
Although many of this realm regard you as mythical,
We do not.
We are the wise ones,
Followers of the old ways.
With love and respect,
We listen for the wisdom you impart.
Guardians of nature,
Show us wisdom and great care.
Gnomes fill us with compassion for the planet we all share.
So mote it be.
Here do I light this candle in honor of the gnomes of this land and as a gesture of hospitality and welcoming.
Something glowing through the night,
Warmer,
Brighter is the light.
Hold your lantern high and see what your path is meant to be.
With the raven,
Sing a song through the night with voices strong.
From olden ways,
Great blessings flow.
And in the dark,
Our lanterns glow.
Here do I light this incense as a fragrant offering to the gnomes of this land and as a gesture of hospitality and welcoming.
Pale glow of moonlight fixed,
Spells of magic now betwixt,
Helping hands and knowing eyes.
Mountains burns and smoke doth rise,
Plume upon the mountain's crest.
Powers do we now invest to learn and teach and reap and sow and tread where only wise ones go.
By all seasons,
Night and day,
From the old ways,
Do not stray.
Through spirit eyes,
The truth is shown.
By light of moon,
All is known.
Here do I leave this offering of fruits and berries for the gnomes of this land as a gesture of hospitality and welcoming.
Around the cauldron gathered are we.
Merry meet and blessed be.
To maiden,
Mother,
And the crone,
Make we now our magic known.
The night is ours at long last.
Hand to hand,
This circle is cast.
Love we reap and love we sow.
We tread where only wise ones go.
Upon the cauldron fix your eyes.
Through its smoke,
The truth will rise.
In the cauldron,
Our intentions go.
Under the moon's blessed glow.
Through powers of the stars this night,
We watch our magic taking flight.
The power is ours.
We use it well.
Together we weave and craft this spell.
For the good of all and to the harm of none,
My sisters and brothers,
The spell has begun.
We came together in love and friendship.
Let us part the same way.
Let us spread the love we have known in this circle outward to all,
Sharing it with those we meet.
Watchtowers of the North,
Guardians of Earth,
I thank you for your presence in this circle and witnessing these rites.
Hail and farewell.
Watchtowers of the West,
Guardians of Water,
I thank you for your presence in this circle and witnessing these rites.
Hail and farewell.
Watchtowers of the South,
Guardians of Fire,
I thank you for your presence in this circle and witnessing these rites.
Hail and farewell.
Watchtowers of the East,
Guardians of Air,
I thank you for your presence in this circle and witnessing these rites.
Hail and farewell.
Guardians of the Elements,
Lord God and Lady Goddess,
We thank you for joining our circle.
We ask your blessing as you depart.
May there be peace and love between us now and forever.
Beloved Ancestors and our friends the Gnomes,
We thank you for joining our circle.
Stay if you will,
Go if you must.
The blessing of your presence will remain with us always.
I cast this circle out into the cosmos as a sign of my magic.
This circle is open but unbroken.
Merry did we meet,
Merry do we part,
And merry will we meet again.
Blessed be.
