Today we want to journey with you on three minutes to calm,
Something that you can cultivate at all parts and times of your day,
No matter what's going on.
Whether or not you take a moment to just step away from your circumstances,
You should never let those still your calm,
Your joy,
Or your peace.
And so I just want to give you the opportunity to think about everything that's happened today so far.
I'll give you about 10 seconds,
15 seconds to think about your day.
As you think about your day,
Whatever just came up,
Let's just release those things.
And as you release those,
Let's get yourself into a comfortable position,
Whatever that may be for you.
As you get yourself into a comfortable position,
Just gently close your eyes and let's just take our grounding breaths together.
I'll guide those breaths with a few words.
The first word will be the inhale.
The second word will be the exhale.
In,
Out,
Calm,
Ease,
Smile.
In,
Out,
Release.
Settle into your breath and settle into that calm and that ease at your own pace.
And as you settle into the natural flow of your breath,
Just gently give yourself some gratitude,
Not only for releasing everything that came before this moment,
As we just did,
But give yourself some gratitude for being here.
And as you give yourself gratitude for being here,
Let's just gently offer the following phrases to ourselves.
May I be happy.
May I be calm.
May I live with ease.
May I be happy.
May I be calm.
May I live with ease.
Notice what comes up as you offer those phrases to yourself.
Accepting everything as it is without any judgment.
Continue to offer those phrases to yourself.
May I be happy.
May I be calm.
May I live with ease.
Feel that calm.
Feel that happiness.
Feel that ease.
And when you're ready,
Just gently flutter your eyes back open.
Bring yourself back into the room.
Give yourself gratitude for taking a few minutes to journey to calm.
This is a practice that you can cultivate at any time of the day as I mentioned earlier.
When somebody wants to steal your joy,
When somebody gets you upset,
You can just gently tell yourself,
May I be happy.
May I be calm.
May I live with ease.
You can even offer these phrases to the next person.
By cultivating this sense of calm,
You're moving to a place to be able to stress less.
So this is something that you can do and implement on your day to day lives.
You can share it with other people,
But I hope it helped you journey to calm.
