Here's a short,
One-minute practice that you can do anytime,
Anywhere.
Feel your feet planted on the ground,
Whether you're sitting or standing.
Feel the connection that your feet are making to the ground underneath you,
In your shoes,
In your sandals,
Maybe if you're barefoot.
Feel grounded in your body through your feet.
If your mind wanders away from the sensations or your feet planted on the ground,
Feel free to bring your attention back to your feet.
Be present with that.
When you're ready,
Slowly take a deep inhale and then up through your nose,
Exhaling and releasing down and out through your mouth.
Slowly bring some movement back into your body,
Maybe wiggle your fingertips or your toes,
Roll your neck,
Your wrists,
Or your shoulders.
If your eyes were closed,
Feel free to flutter them back open,
Bringing yourself back into the room or whatever space you're in.
