Welcome to the Bodhi Effect.

Today we'll be focusing on releasing your fears for a better day.

You can feel free to start in a seated position or lying down.

Whichever serves you.

Spine long,

Soft belly.

Close your eyes.

Begin to draw awareness deep inside.

Taking a moment here just to check in with how you feel.

Then slowly begin to draw awareness to your breath.

Feeling a deep inhale in the heart and in the belly.

As you exhale,

Soften.

Soften the jaw,

Soften the shoulders.

Another big inhale here.

Breathe deep in through the nose,

Into the heart and into the belly.

Exhale,

Soften your hips,

Soften your hands.

Release that tension.

Feel yourself ground into the earth.

Feel your presence in this moment now.

Notice as you inhale the way your breath swims through the body.

The way your breath expands your muscles.

Creating space inside.

Notice as you exhale the opportunity that you have to let go.

Each exhale I invite you to let go of your day.

To let go of your week.

To let go of your month or maybe even your year.

When the morning comes and our eyes open,

We are given a glimmer of bliss.

Followed by a reminder that the time has come.

The time has come to step back into your so called world.

That it's time to step back into the stories,

The dramas,

The worries and the fears that we so blissfully tucked away when the sun went down.

We move through our day with our bodies filled with tension.

With our minds filled with chatter.

And with our heart filled with fear by the unknown of what will come next.

But I ask you dear one,

How do you feel?

How do you feel inside this body?

And how do you feel inside this mind?

And how do you feel inside this heart?

In this world,

In this life,

In this moment,

You have a choice.

You have a choice to fill your chaos with stillness.

You have a choice to fill your anger with acceptance.

You have a choice to fill your misery with creativity.

You have a choice to fill your worry with faith.

You have a choice to fill your violence with compassion.

You have a choice to fill your hatred with kindness.

And you dear one have a choice to fill your fear with love.

Where there is love,

There is no fear.

One simply cannot coexist with the other.

It doesn't mean that it's going to be easy.

You may be asking how in my moments of anger,

My moments of resentment,

Rage and worry,

How do I remind myself that there is a choice?

You breathe,

You get still.

You feel your feet grounded into the earth.

You look down at your hands and you remember that you dear one are alive.

Your consciousness is awake.

Suffering is inevitable,

But perfection is impossible.

So when you find yourself facing the pain that cannot be avoided,

Step back into your power,

Step back into the only thing that is real around you,

Which is the present moment now.

And step back into your breath.

Deep inhale,

Fill your heart with light.

Exhale,

Let go of a worry.

Deep inhale,

Fill your heart with joy.

Exhale,

Let go of an anger.

Deep inhale,

Fill your heart with love.

Let go of a fear.

Exhale.

I ask you again,

How do you feel?

How do you feel inside this body?

How do you feel inside this mind?

And how do you feel inside this heart?

Check in.

Notice the differences from the beginning of your practice to now.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly be good to wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.

Roll your wrists,

Roll your ankles.

And if it feels right for you,

Reach your hands overhead and give yourself a nice big stretch,

Waking yourself up from this blissful state.

We end the practice with the word Sat Nam,

Which means I am truth.

And I hope you speak your truth,

Live your truth,

And be exactly who it is that you want to be.

Sat Nam.

This was so very helpful to me. I have been dealing with a situation at home, and my property has been damaged and the owner is not taking responsibility, as he has caused it. I have been angry, fearful, feeling like a victim, and I overreacted and really let him have it yesterday. I didn’t sleep, hardly at all last night and got out of bed at 3 AM and ruminated over this. This meditation really allowed me to alleviate or let some of those emotions dissipate. I cannot change that person. I can only change myself I realize that and this meditation was very very useful. Thank you, Namaste.

This brought up a lot of difficult feelings and doubts for myself today and I felt I intuitively wanted to just push those away but managed to stay with it, which felt hard but good in the end. Will want to return to this, thank you!! 15/3/21

Thanks for the reminder that I have a choice about how I want to feel today before I step into the drama and story of my life and that the only thing that’s real is the present moment! _/\_sat namπŸŒπŸ€
