Welcome to this meditation with Corrie.

The intention behind this meditation practice today is to let go of any negative energy or any moods or emotions that you're carrying home from your workplace so that you're not sat in that energy or those negative emotions all evening depending on what your day was like at work or the people that you have to work with.

Let's set an intention to let go of that energy by doing this practice whenever you need to.

So I want you to close your eyes.

This exercise you can actually physically do every day when you come home before you walk through your front door or you can mindfully do it in the middle of your day if you need to release the negative energy that the situation is causing you to feel.

You can do that in the form of this meditation and virtually energetically do the exercise rather than rely on being at home and physically doing it.

So close your eyes.

Come into your body.

Let go of the world around you for a moment.

To anyone else on the outside world it may just look like you're closing your eyes to focus on something for a few minutes.

Take a nice big deep breath and when you breathe out use the intention of surrendering into yourself for a few minutes.

Meaning breathe out and release and let go of some of the tension that's been building up in your body.

Take a nice big deep breath in through your nose.

Breathe in and imagine that you're breathing in some kind of relaxation.

Something that will relieve this state of anxiety or stress or anger that you're sitting with.

Breathe in the relaxation,

Breathe out and let go of the emotion,

The feeling.

Really breathe it out so that you're completely empty of air and then pause for a second on the emptiness.

See if you can feel a tiny little bit of peace in that pause.

And then breathe in nice big deep breath once again.

Breathe in all the way down to the base of your stomach.

Hold it for a second.

Hold it,

Hold it.

And then nice big deep breath out and release.

Let go of what it is you're feeling.

This is helping you to start the process of release.

Now just find a normal rhythm in your breathing and let that fall into its place for a few deep breaths.

Your mind might drift off into the situation that you're dealing with at work.

The crazy people,

The negative people,

The angry people,

Whoever they are that you're having to deal with in your workplace.

Your mind may wander to those people or what just happened.

Pull your mind away from that when it does.

Pull it away and pull it back to your breath and just feel your breath.

It helps if you feel it and connect to the feelings as you breathe in and you breathe out.

You need more awareness and more focus to feel the breath,

Not just breathe.

Feel your breath.

Let that help you to let go of those negative thoughts.

Feeling the sensations as you breathe in and the sensations as you exhale.

Notice how your shoulders rise.

When you breathe in,

Your abdomen expands.

When you breathe out,

Your abdomen pulls back to the spine and your shoulders soften and fall.

There's a very slight feeling of natural relaxation when you breathe out and exhale.

See if you can notice it.

That surrender as you let go of your breath.

And now starting to bring all of your focus and attention into the place where your inner sight resides.

So put your attention on the middle of your forehead where your third eye is and imagine that you're standing in a space that at the moment just looks very dark as you stare out there in front of you.

There's darkness to your left and to your right and the darkness seems to go on forever and ever as you stare into nothing.

You might start to see colors,

Maybe green or purple or you might see just shadows from the shapes of when your eyes were open or you might just see complete darkness.

Any of this is okay.

Once you introduce your imagination and start to recall memories,

That darkness will change.

Remember what it looks like when you're standing directly in front of your front door.

Put yourself there right now in your mind.

You're standing at your front door as if you're about to go inside.

Recall everything about your front door that you can remember.

The color,

The size.

Notice if your door has panels or a window or some kind of pattern.

Bring back the memory of where the door handle or the doorknob is on your door.

Sit on the left or the right.

Really start to feel as if you're right there in front of your door.

And then I want you to look down at your feet.

Now in real life you may have a welcome mat or some kind of mat in front of your door or you may have no mat at all.

Either way it doesn't matter.

What I want you to do is look down at your feet and see what you would be standing on in front of your actual front door.

This is where the important stuff starts to happen.

Imagine that you've been in the woods and it's very dirty and muddy and you don't want to walk that into your house.

You would automatically start to just brush your feet back and forward to remove the dirt off your feet.

I want you to start to actually imagine that you're doing that.

Imagine that you're moving your feet backwards and forwards,

Maybe turning them slightly on the side to get the mud off the side of your shoes.

Keep moving them back and forth,

Scraping away at the dirt.

Now imagine that this dirt is the negative energy that you've got from work,

The negative conversation that you had,

The annoying interaction with a workmate or whoever,

Your boss,

It doesn't matter who.

Imagine this dirt is representing those feelings and those thoughts and those emotions that are still in your mind and your body and you don't want them to go into your house.

You're removing them.

You're physically removing any anger.

You're wiping it off right now.

You're intentionally removing any frustration.

Just brushing it off your shoes,

Just like dirt.

You're intentionally letting go of any anxiety from your day.

You're just cleaning your shoes,

But really you're cleaning your aura.

You're cleaning your energy.

You're changing your vibration.

The intention of cleaning your shoes is a bigger intention.

You're cleaning your whole body,

Your whole mind,

Your whole vibration right now just by cleaning your shoes.

Notice how much power you have with this practice.

Your shoes are getting cleaner and cleaner.

You're wiping off all the dirt.

You're breathing out a sigh and letting go of any energy that doesn't serve you,

That's not in your greater good,

That's not of your higher purpose.

You don't want that in your house.

You don't want that around your family,

Around your loved ones,

Around your pets.

You don't want that negativity coming into your sacred home,

Your special place.

And therefore you're using your power of intention and you're removing it right now by cleaning your feet.

Okay so maybe this is lunchtime like I said before and we're really just doing this,

Practicing our mind,

But when you get home from work today you will do the practice in the physical form.

You'll physically wipe your feet on the mat or on the ground and you'll see yourself removing and letting go and releasing anything that you picked up at work that you don't want to take into your home.

Just like that.

And so it is.

You're going to go through that front door,

You're going to feel relieved,

You're going to feel free from your day,

More positive,

Be in a happier mood.

Your evening is going to be wonderful.

And so it is.

Now if you're at work you can just open your eyes,

All clean,

All ready to carry on with your day and deal with whoever you have to deal with at work.

And then tonight you will do the practice before you walk into your physical house.

Namaste my friend.

I'm sending you good energy.

I'm seeing you in love and light and surrounded by happy positive vibrations.

And so it is.

Ay Feru pretend'.

She provided excellent uses of visualization that can be used at both work and at home. I actually was itching a little bit because I realized how much the negative energy at work from someone was causing me. Thanks so much.. I really needed this!
