Let's meditate together and use this time that we have to boost our confidence level.
Just listening every day,
Taking a few minutes out of your time to remember the truth about who you are.
You can either listen in the car while you're driving,
You can listen with headphones while you're walking,
You can sit with me now and just take a few minutes before you start your day.
Make sure that your back is nice and straight,
That way we allow the channel of energy to travel through us more easily.
Close off your eyes if you're not driving or walking.
Start to focus on your breathing pattern and notice whether you're breathing quite shallow or you breathe in slowly or quickly.
Let's see if we can bring a little bit of balance into your breathing.
Release your breath at about a 3 second in and out rate.
See if you can breathe in for about 3 seconds nice and gentle.
Hold your breath for 1 or 2 seconds and then breathe out for about 3 seconds.
You can imagine that you're creating a square with your breath or a loop.
Continuously moving forward,
Breathing in for 3,
Pausing,
Breathing out for 3,
Pausing,
Breathing in for 3,
Creating a steady rhythm with your breath.
If you sit and do this for long enough,
It's actually quite hypnotic in itself.
Just following the count with your breath would be enough to calm you down if you're stressed or if you need to just stop a pattern of thought in your mind.
But for now,
I just want you to calm down your breath,
Regulate your breath as a constant throughout the meditation.
Let's agree to say things that are only true.
We're not going to make any fake statements in this meditation.
We're just going to rely on the truth.
And the truth is,
There is no one in the world that is exactly like me.
Say that to yourself.
I am completely individual,
A one and only.
The way I act,
The way I feel is always up to me.
Sometimes I don't always try my hardest.
But when I do,
I accept that that is the best that I can do.
I have so many different parts of my personality.
And I'm going to agree today in this moment to work on loving each and every one of them.
The truth is,
There is no bad side to me.
That's only a perception.
And from now on,
I choose to believe that all of me is good.
I know that it is true that everyone makes mistakes.
I am going to consciously try and learn from my mistakes.
Mistakes always hold a lot of teaching.
An opportunity for growth.
They are my path to evolve.
Life constantly changes.
And mistakes are always in all of our future.
So if a mistake is made today,
I know I'm going to learn from it.
I know it's not the end of the world.
And I can no longer use it as an excuse not to try.
We all have things that are new to us.
That is the truth.
Not everyone knows everything.
And when something is new,
It can be challenging.
That is the same for all of us.
It no longer stops me from trying new things.
I have definite areas of my life where I feel very confident.
I have other areas of my life that I'm still working on.
I'm okay with that.
The truth is I am good at a lot of things.
The truth is I may not always acknowledge that.
But today I do.
Today I'm going to put myself forward with confidence.
I'm going to hold my head high,
My shoulders back.
I'm going to do my best.
It's going to be a good day.
I'm going to do my very best at making this the best day that it can be.
Looking as good as I can look.
Feeling as good as I can feel.
This is going to be a good day.
