Love What Comes
This is a meditation that will allow ourselves to feel the love that we are all entitled to and that we all would hope to provide to others. We all have parts of us that need a little love, so how about we practice loving all of us?
Transcript
Are you ready for some me time?
Okay.
Let's make sure that you're laying down in a comfortable position.
Something that feels right for you.
Use pillows under your knees if you need to.
A nice big pillow under your head.
Make sure that you can relax and get comfortable.
Check your shoulders.
Move them away from your neck.
Release any tension there.
And close your eyes.
With your eyes closed,
Going inside,
Take all of your awareness and place it onto your breath.
Just follow your breath and your normal breathing,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Don't change anything.
Focus on your body as you breathe and be aware of your breath,
Making your chest rise and fall and your abdomen move.
Notice how when you breathe in,
You feel a sense of acceptance.
And when you breathe out,
You feel a sense of relief.
Try and keep your body still and quiet throughout the meditation.
The only thing moving is your breath.
Take longer,
Slower breaths now,
Deeper breaths.
Breathe in maybe to the count of three or four.
Breathe in,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold your breath,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Breathe out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Breathe in,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Breathe out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Just keep breathing nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breaths for the next few breaths.
Notice how your body is starting to slow down,
Become quiet and still inside.
Your thoughts in your head may start to slow down.
If thoughts come to mind,
Just allow them to be present and then see if you can bring your focus back to your breath and let them just fade away.
Make no attachment to those thoughts.
See if you can practice seeing your thoughts like waves of the ocean coming in and going out,
Being present and then being released.
Resume your normal breathing.
Just let your breath shallow into its own pace.
Start to become aware of the rest of your body.
Notice if you have anything standing out that's pulling your attention,
Any aches or pains.
If you do,
Then just breathe into those aches and pains.
Mindfully see your breath traveling through your body,
Going to the place that holds some discomfort and just use your breath and breathe into it.
Allow it to relax a little bit more.
This is your me time,
Your quiet time.
So use your breath to heal your body,
Relax your body and your mind.
Breathe into those areas in your body that need your help right now.
Being a parent,
Know that all different situations are going to come forward on your path.
All different opportunities of learning through ease and through discomfort.
Those opportunities may bring different emotions to the surface,
Different parts of you that you may struggle with or dislike.
In this meditation,
I want you to think of things differently.
See yourself and all of your parts differently and love what comes up.
No matter what it is that comes up,
An emotion,
A thought,
A feeling,
Pain,
Discomfort.
Start to view those things as opportunities in your life to grow,
To get to know you better,
To love you better.
Think about your home for a second and everything that you own in your home,
Everything that's yours.
And just be grateful.
Be grateful for all the physical things that you have in your life.
Start to allow the energy of gratitude to vibrate throughout your body.
Think about all of the loved ones in your life,
All the people that you have that you can treasure and enjoy.
And be grateful.
Be grateful in all of the messes that come up in your world and how they teach you things and help you to change and evolve and improve who you are as a being.
Be grateful for those masses.
Be grateful for your body,
Your health,
And all of the wonderful things that your body does for you on a daily basis.
It breathes for you.
It fights disease for you.
It wants you to be alive and healthy.
Be grateful for every inch of your body,
Whether you like it or not.
Now is your opportunity to love your body.
See it in a different light.
Love it for everything it does for you.
Think about what it would be like if you lost a part of your body and you didn't have it.
Try and appreciate every inch,
Every scar,
Every lump and bump and stretch mark.
It's all you and it's all beautiful.
It's all of your life there on your body,
Like a painting.
Be grateful for your body.
Think about your child or your children and all of the wonderful things about them.
How amazing they are.
Creative,
Funny,
Loving.
Think about this gracious opportunity that you've been given to guide them and help them to grow and help them to discover the world through their own eyes with your loving support.
Be grateful for that.
Allow your body to completely relax.
Let your head get heavy and relax.
Your shoulders,
Allow them to sink deeper into the ground when you breathe.
Your chest,
Your tummy and your back all relax.
Allow yourself to feel the sinking,
Melting feeling throughout your body,
Sinking deeper and deeper into the earth.
Let your arms relax,
Your wonderful arms and your hands and everything that they do for you.
Give them some peace right now and let them soften and get heavy and completely relax.
Your heart slows down,
Starts to become more peaceful.
All of your organs relax and slow down.
Your cells are renewing and healing.
Just relax and let go.
Allow gratitude to be your vibration.
Allow it to run through every part of your body.
Breathe deeply and say to yourself,
I'm so grateful for everything in my life.
Breathe and say,
I'm grateful for the messes and the masterpieces of my life.
I'm grateful for all the love I have in my life and all the people that love me and all the people that I choose to love.
I'm grateful.
I choose to love what comes.
The good and the not so good.
I choose to be grateful for every opportunity to grow.
Just breathe into that knowing.
Breathe into those statements and allow them to resonate throughout your entire body.
Just relax.
Just relax.
Just relax.
Just relax.
Just relax.
Just relax.
Just relax.
Just relax.

I really did relax with this meditation to love myself first & the music changed. I like the image of the baby stretched out for a cuddle that is love. Thankyou

Really effective. The music was slightly distracting, but not excessively so - just enough to make me concentrate more on what was being said! π

I enjoyed your meditation. Your voice is very soothing. As others have said itβs the last few minutes when you stop talking that the music abruptly changes. I will still listen to you again but this time I am prepared for the ending. ππ»
