My name is Kari.
Let's sit and meditate together.
Close your eyes if you haven't done so already.
Sit in a comfortable seated position.
Straighten your spine.
Take a breath and relax your shoulders down.
Soften your jaw and bring your chin down towards your chest slightly.
Just drop it a little bit into a more comfortable relaxed position.
Place your hands on your knees or rest them in your lap.
And then be still.
Really focus on complete stillness.
Become aware of the movement of your chest rising and falling as you breathe.
Maybe the feeling and sensation of needing to swallow when everything is still.
The only thing that you're allowing to move is the natural rhythms of your body,
Your heart,
Your lungs,
Swallowing if you need to.
Everything else is as still as it possibly can.
And just sit in the stillness for a few moments.
Take a deep breath in and clear your inner space as you breathe out so you can be still.
Allow your breathing to find a comfortable pace.
Imagine that the stillness and the quiet is the best thing that you've felt in a long time.
Like you're welcoming somebody home that you've not seen for a long time.
Allow your body to enjoy the sensation of just being still.
Feeling the peace in the stillness.
Quiet.
How the quiet brings calm.
Let your body soften into this nice welcoming sensation.
Like sitting down on a comfortable sofa after a really busy day.
Or climbing in the shower when your heart and grimy feels like the best thing in the world.
Let your meditation feel like that right now.
Finally in a place of stillness and quiet.
Take another big deep breath in all the way down to the base of your abdomen.
Breathe it all out.
So that you can sit in the silence.
Bring your attention to the base of your spine so that we can check in with our chakras.
Just feel the connection of the base of your spine and your sit bones with the earth or the chair,
Whatever it is underneath.
Really come into your physical body.
Zone in on the sensations.
Pull your attention to your perineum.
The place where the root chakra lives.
Take a breath down into that space.
See it in your mind like a flame of a candle.
And as you breathe down into it,
You're breathing life and energy into your root.
Igniting the flames so it's bigger and brighter.
You can also pulse the muscles of your pelvic floor.
Just a very gentle flutter.
Very gentle pulse.
To awaken the flame.
Making it glow brighter and brighter.
Acknowledging your mind.
You're bringing life and energy into your root.
You're waking it up.
You're bringing balance,
Activation,
Harmony.
Whatever words resonate with you,
Feeling like you're doing something good.
For your root,
The base of your spine.
Sit with that for a moment.
Focus now on your second chakra.
Tune in to the space.
Of your pubic bone.
Below your belly button.
Midway.
Imagine that you see a light.
Golden orange light.
Being turned on right there.
In your being.
Breathe down into that space.
Bring balance.
And harmony.
Just sit with this energy.
You don't have to feel anything or do anything.
Use the intention of your mind.
And know that just by focusing on that space.
In your body.
Giving it the energy it needs.
Let the energy jump up over your belly button.
Just below your ribs.
In the center of your being.
Where your third chakra.
The solar plexus lies.
Maybe you feel a pulse here.
Same pulse that you felt at the base of your spine.
Just a soft fluttering pulse.
Maybe you don't feel any sensation at all.
Pull your awareness and your breath down into that space.
Think about the sun.
Something yellow that brings you joy.
Big,
Juicy lemon.
Whatever comes to your mind.
Put some yellow happiness in that part of your body.
And know that you're setting the intention to activate.
To balance.
Open.
Your solar plexus.
And breathe into that space.
Sit quiet and still.
Always feel free to take a deep breath in your practice whenever you need to.
It makes me feel like I'm refreshing my energy.
Bringing in a clean slate.
Renewing or boosting the power within me.
So take that deep breath whenever you need it.
Bring your focus back to your solar plexus.
Take a breath down deep into your heart space.
And imagine your chest,
Your ribs,
Your heart.
All opening up to receive your breath.
See the colour green.
Open your heart.
Balance your heart chakra.
And awaken your heart chakra.
Put some energy and love into that part of your body.
Tilt your head.
And raise your chin.
Open your throat chakra to the world.
Breathe in.
The colour blue.
Like the ocean.
Or the sky.
Use the intention of your mind to know that you're opening your throat chakra.
A balancing,
Cleansing,
Awakening that part of your being.
Smoothing it out.
Photos helping with balance still enjoying the silence,
Stillness let your eyes roll up and back look at the space in the middle of your forehead think about the color indigo for your sixth chakra,
Your third eye maybe you feel a slight tingling sensation in the middle of your forehead allow this part of your being to balance,
