
Chakra Healing - Guided Practice
This chakra meditation will help you to understand the chakras. It is designed to show you how they affect your everyday life, and how you can heal them through meditation so you can live a balanced, happy, healthy life!
Transcript
Make sure that you're laying down or you're seated in a comfortable position for this meditation.
If you're seated,
Sit with your back straight with your hands resting on your lap.
Relax your head,
Soften your jaw and close your eyes.
If you're laid down,
Lay in Savasana.
Move your legs slightly open,
Relax your feet out.
Move your arms away from your body and have your hands facing down to the earth or up to the sky,
Whichever you prefer.
Close your eyes.
Start by focusing on your breath.
Allow yourself to just let go of everything around you.
Bring yourself inside of your own body.
Bring all of your awareness,
The sensations,
Everything that comes to mind.
Focus everything on the inside of your body and let go of everything else around you.
By following your breath,
You can put your focus on one thing.
Allow your breath to start to relax your body naturally by slowing it down.
Take long,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
Breathe in down deep into the base of your abdomen.
Notice all of the sensations in your body when you breathe.
Notice how your chest rises and falls,
How the abdomen swells and then empties.
Feel the space in between the breaths.
Feel when the body is full and also notice the difference in the sensations when the body is completely empty of breath.
Just breathe long,
Slow,
Deep breaths for a few moments and allow your body to start to naturally relax.
Focus on softening your face,
The muscles in your face,
The top of your head.
Allow any tension to release and let go.
Soften the space around your eyes,
Your temples.
Let your eyes roll up and back slightly as if you're staring into that space in the middle of your forehead,
A big,
Wide,
Open space.
Relax your cheeks.
Relax your jaw.
See if you can just move your jaw gently from side to side to release any tension and then allow it to just soften and relax into a comfortable position.
Let your shoulders drop.
When you exhale,
Really allow your shoulders to pull down and release.
Breathe into the space in the back of your neck and across your shoulders.
Release any tension with your out-breath.
Imagine you're breathing in relaxation every time you take a nice,
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath.
Imagine when you breathe out,
You're releasing any tension or stress or worries you might be holding in your body.
Start to let them go with every exhale.
Relax your chest.
Allow the relaxation to start to roll down your arms over your shoulders.
Down gently and slowly towards your elbows.
Down towards your wrists until it reaches the tips of your fingers.
Your arms feeling very,
Very relaxed.
Soften the muscles in your abdomen and let your lower back start to release any tension it's holding there.
Really breathe down into the base of your spine.
Breathe down into your legs,
Knees,
Ankles,
All the way to the tips of your toes.
Bring your focus back to your breath and mindfully,
In your mind's eye,
Your inner side,
Start to imagine you can see your breath.
Imagine that there's a big,
Red cloud of energy in front of your face.
And this time when you breathe in,
You breathe in the big,
Red cloud of energy.
Breathe in down,
Down through your chest,
Down into your lungs,
Down into your tummy,
All the way down to the base of your spine where your root chakra lies.
Envision in your mind that you can see the energy,
The red,
Deep,
Rich red,
Rolling around and swirling around at the base of your spine,
Starting to wake up your root chakra.
Your thought center.
This thought center is connected to your survival,
How you survive here on earth in this journey,
Your safety,
Your protection.
It normally gets threatened by anything connected to fear.
So when we're in a state of fear,
Our root chakra is the one that tends to need more attention.
It needs more love,
More energy.
If you have any fears in your life currently,
Which we all do,
Start to think about those fears and allow yourself to release them.
Imagine that you're releasing them with every exhalation.
You're breathing out the fear,
Giving yourself some time,
Some healing space.
And every time you breathe in,
You breathe in that rich,
Deep red energy down into the base of your spine,
Swirling around the root chakra,
Allowing it to start to heal and open and feel safe and stable and secure.
Tell yourself with your in-breath that you're secure.
I am secure.
Every time you breathe in,
Think of a mantra that will allow you to feel safe.
I am safe.
You don't have to be in fight or flight mode.
You can relax.
I can relax.
I am safe.
Keep breathing in the red energy deep down into the base of your spine.
And every time you breathe out,
Imagine you're letting go of all of those fears,
Each little one,
Even if you feel they're insignificant,
Tiniest fears about all the different things in your reality.
Just breathe them out for a bit.
Let them go and give yourself a break.
Use the power of your mind and imagine that you're breathing a big orange cloud of energy into your body now.
Fiery deep orange,
Just like the flames of a fire or the deep,
Deep rays of fresh oranges on orange trees.
See them clearly in your mind going down through your throat,
Down into your lungs,
All the way down to just below your belly button where your sacral chakra lies.
Imagine the orange energy swirling around your lower abdomen,
Waking up your sacral chakra.
The chakra is all about pleasure,
Your pleasure in this reality,
In this lifetime,
The pleasure that you can take and receive and give.
The chakra is normally blocked by guilt.
Take the next few breaths to start to think about anything that you feel guilty about,
Anything in your past that you hold guilt for,
Any of your actions,
Your words.
Allow them to come to mind and then just breathe them out.
Imagine your breath is like magic during this meditation.
It allows you to just simply breathe out and release and let go.
You're breathing in the fiery orange energy deep down into your sacral.
This fiery orange represents your pleasure.
Allow yourself some pleasure in this lifetime.
Tell yourself right now you deserve pleasure.
I deserve to be pleasured.
I deserve to feel pleasure.
I am worthy of giving and receiving pleasure.
Take a few breaths to release any guilt that comes to mind.
Start to envision the color yellow there in front of your face.
A big ball of yellow energy.
Imagine that you're breathing in the yellow energy all the way down to just above your belly button.
Around your ribs,
Between your ribs,
Below your ribs.
See in your mind the swirling vibrant bright yellow color.
Going around and around,
Activating your solar plexus,
Your third chakra.
This chakra is the home of your willpower,
The place of your confidence,
Your self-esteem,
Your self-worth.
The way that you see yourself in this lifetime.
The way that you put yourself forward.
Your drive,
Your ambition.
Your solar plexus can be blocked by shame.
Think about anything right now in this next few breaths that you can release connected to shame.
Something that you're ashamed about.
Something that you've done that you hold shame for.
Breathe in the bright,
Vivid yellow energy.
Breathe it down like sunshine into your body.
Allow it to heal and activate your solar plexus.
Allow yourself to feel your drive,
Your willpower,
Your confidence,
Your ambition.
Allow yourself to feel good about yourself.
Breathe that wonderful energy in and let go with every breath of any shame you might be holding.
Now take the time to envision a green ball of energy there.
The time to envision a green ball of energy there in front of your face.
Breathe in the green light all the way down into the center of your chest.
This energy is connected to your heart chakra,
Your fourth chakra.
Allow it to spin and roll around your heart in the middle of your chest,
Activating that love energy.
This is your balancing chakra.
Your balance between material and non-material.
Your balance between the physical and the spiritual aspects of who you are.
The heart chakra is the king of all chakras.
If we could live from our heart chakra,
We would be much happier people.
Breathe that green energy into the center of your chest.
Every time you breathe out,
Allow yourself to start to let go of any grief that you might be holding onto.
Grief of the loss of loved ones,
Grief of the loss of relationships,
Of time,
Of money,
Whatever it is.
Grief blocks the heart chakra.
Really focus on exhaling out anything that comes to mind that you're grieving over.
Let it go and allow your heart chakra to heal during this meditation.
Your fifth chakra is your throat chakra.
It's connected to the color blue.
Start to imagine a big ball of blue energy there in front of your face.
Breathe it deep down into your face,
Into your throat,
And imagine it laying and wrapping around your throat.
It's bright blue energy healing and activating your throat chakra.
The throat chakra is all about our truth during this journey.
Speaking our truth,
Being in our truth,
Communicating our truth,
Being authentic.
It's blocked by lies,
Lies that we tell ourselves and lies that we tell others.
Sit,
Breathe in the blue energy and allow your mind to bring to the forefront anything that you're lying about.
Let it go.
Allow yourself to release the lies so that you can breathe in your authenticity,
You can breathe in your truth.
Start to think and focus on the middle of your forehead.
This is where your sixth chakra lies,
Your third eye.
It's your inner sight,
The eyes of the spiritual being of who you are,
The eyes that you journey with in your dreams when you ask to travel.
Your third eye is the insight,
Your insight during this journey.
And it's blocked by illusion,
Illusion of separation,
Separating yourself from others,
Seeing yourself as individual instead of in oneness.
Allow your third eye to be healed during this meditation.
Breathe in the color indigo,
A deep,
Glorious indigo.
Breathe that color into the middle of your forehead to activate and heal your third eye and allow yourself to let go of the illusion of separation,
The illusion that you are an eye instead of in oneness,
The illusion that you are different instead of we are all the same.
Everything is one.
Everything that you envision in your reality,
Even if appears to be separate,
Is in reality really oneness.
Breathe in the indigo color and see yourself in oneness as you heal and activate your sixth chakra.
The final chakra that we'll focus on in this meditation is your crown chakra,
Which is violet,
The color violet,
White with a hint of purple.
Imagine that you have a big white violet light ball of energy in front of your face and you're breathing it in to the top of your head.
The top of your head is where the crown chakra,
Your seventh chakra is situated.
Allow the top of your head to start to feel as if it's opening up to the world,
Opening up like a big flower,
Like a Pandora's box.
Breathe the violet light into the top of your head and allow yourself to connect to cosmic energy.
This chakra is all about your connection to the cosmic energies around you,
Out there in the universe,
Connecting us to all that is.
You are connected to all that is.
The only thing that stops this connection,
That blocks this chakra,
Is attachment,
Your earthly attachments.
Breathe in the color violet and breathe out anything that comes to mind that you know that you have attachments to,
Unhealthy attachments to during your journey in this moment.
What can you let go of?
What needs to not be in your life?
What attachments aren't even real,
Yet you think that they're real?
Breathe in the color violet and breathe out any attachments that you have that's holding you back from your cosmic connection to all that is in this lifetime.

I bookmarked this one! I really appreciate the healing and the learning I received. Thank you! One way you could improve it would be to revise the grammar. The verb "to lie" never takes an object. It is correct to say: lie down, be lying down, it lies there. The verb "to lay" always takes an object. Also, we wouldn't want to open Pandora's box because that would be opening all the troubles of the world.
