Hello,

This is Corinne Henreger.

Welcome to today's inner journey,

Reconnecting to self,

Being in your body.

Acceptance of all parts of you through the wisdom and the natural season winter.

Chances are that you are more in your head than in your body at the moment.

Let's change this.

I invite you to get comfortable and take a few nice deep breaths.

Notice how you feel when your chest expands as you inhale and how you feel when your body contracts as you exhale.

Notice the temperature of air as you inhale and the temperature of air as you exhale.

On your next deep breath in,

Notice what parts of your body expand with micro movements.

It's just staying present in the moment,

Observing the sensations and movements of your body.

So your mind gets the opportunity to calm down.

Now your awareness has the chance to drop more and more into your body and heart space.

Let's stay here for a moment longer.

Maybe put one of your hands onto your chest,

Connect even deeper to your heart space and notice your heartbeat.

Continue to notice the micro movements of your body through the natural rhythm of your breath.

I would love to take you on an inner journey to explore where in your life you experience a winter phase and how this can help you create stronger roots and deeply connect you to your true being.

As living,

Breathing beings,

We all experience the seasons in one way or another.

Maybe our relationship goes through an exciting spring phase while our work goes through a more stagnant winter phase.

Our home goes through a consistent summer phase while our relationship with a dear friend goes through an overflowing,

Harvesting autumn phase.

We can experience different phases in our lives at the same time.

Honouring,

Noticing and building awareness of these different phases or seasons helps us to think deeply with our natural rhythm and create more flow and ease in our lives.

In the season of winter,

Things might feel stagnant or lifeless.

Yet looking at nature and how it works,

We can witness that this is not the case.

We need trees to degrade this growing in winter.

We might not see much happening yet as their roots grow the strongest in winter.

This helps the tree to grow in strength,

Carrying more leaves and fruits in the coming year.

We need the winter phase like the trees needed so we can root more deeply into our true being,

Grow resilient,

Let go of what no longer serves us and start to make plans for spring.

Really getting clear on what we want to plant and grow in our lives.

Many of us have been conditioned to dismiss or fear winter as it represents darkness,

Stagnant energy or lifelessness.

Yet this is the most potent time where we can dream big and plant the seeds of new beginnings.

We need the winter phase to recharge,

Gain clarity and let go of what no longer serves us.

Reflect for a moment what areas in your life feel stagnant and heavy.

Stay connected with these areas for a moment.

Now pick the one that speaks to you the most.

Keep breathing in your natural rhythm and noticing the micro movements of your body through your breath.

Envision the winter part of you that speaks to you the most and allow it to stand in front of you.

Notice how you feel looking at it.

Now imagine or envision your conscious swapping place with it and you look at yourself through the eyes of this part.

How does it feel?

What does it need?

Is there a part of this part that is ready to be let go of?

Maybe ask it why it is experienced the winter phase.

Stay there for a moment longer and observe whatever you notice.

As you connect to this part of your life and build awareness of what it really is and why it is in the winter phase,

You have the opportunity to surrender and allow all of its beautiful teachings to come to light.

It is allowed.

It is needed.

It is here to support you to grow more resilient and strong.

Let go of what no longer serves you and go for the things that light you on fire when spring is ready to emerge.

Take another deep breath in and as you exhale,

Start to notice and sense the room around you.

The weight of your body on your seat.

Sounds in your environment.

Maybe wiggle your toes and move your fingers.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

What is one action you can take this week to be more present in the parts of your life that experienced the winter season at this moment?

Bring more awareness to the different seasons of life.

Integrating action steps helps us to become more and more in tune with our deep needs so we can live a much more fulfilled life.

You are worth it and you deserve all of this and more.

Namaste.
