Hi,
This is Karin Hindräger.
Welcome to today's self-exploration of your personal journey.
Today I like to look at embodiment and how embodying your awareness shifts into your lives truly opens doors for greater change.
From my experience,
If we put embodiment at the core of all we do,
We can experience life to its fullest potential.
We as human beings have the tendency to always strive for more,
Yet forget to bring the learned experience into a grounded,
Embodied way of being so we can truly harvest the fruits and live a richer life that fulfills us much deeper.
Instead,
It's always about the next quick fix,
The next solution,
The next coach and the next course and so on.
Being embodied into the experience of life,
Slowing down enough so the learned experience can drop into our earthy beings helps to create more,
Not for the sake of creating more,
But for the sake of being more,
Being more present,
Being more conscious,
More purposeful and more abundant in the experience we are experiencing in life.
It creates riches beyond what we wish for.
So the universe,
God or however we want to call it,
Can co-inspire in our favor and truly make the world a better place for us.
I'd love to share with you some simple action steps so you are able to start to embody what you are learning and start to embody the changes in your life you desire.
One major thing I keep seeing happening is that many people,
Myself included at times,
Have the tendency to hire a coach,
Take a course or read and listen to personal development talks yet keep all the new awareness only in their mental space.
The issue here is as long as this newfound awareness is only kept in the mental space and doesn't have the chance to drop into your body and become embodied,
We try to create something purely from willpower.
And wonder why we are going through a huge backwards and forwards stance in life,
Never really quite getting to where we actually truly want to be as we are not embodying the awareness and the change.
Two very simple ways to go about this is to move your body and to rest.
After a while you receive a coaching session,
Attend a course session or listen to an inspiring talk,
I invite you to go for a walk in nature and enjoy the fresh air.
Notice and observe how different your body feels with the newfound awareness and where in your physical being you experience any tension related to the newfound awareness.
Take a few deep breaths to bring your awareness to the place in your body you experience this tension.
Just observe it for a moment and when you feel the energy shifting,
Either softening or intensifying,
Ask this part of your body what it needs from you to release and to embody this new awareness into your being.
Be open to what comes up for you.
It can be a sense,
A feeling or knowing what you need to do.
Whatever comes up for you,
It will be totally fine.
Commit yourself and take some time to implement this new awareness into your life so your new learned experience has the chance to drop into your body and change your life.
Another thing I keep observing is the lack of rest.
This need to be always on and always striving for the next best thing leaves our body exhausted and lacking the ability to embody the newfound experience.
This often comes as a second step.
For example,
When you start to implement the new learned changes into your life,
You feel good how things are coming along and push through other things and feel like you continuously need to keep going.
Expecting new habits and adapting the new ways of being requires us to grow our comfort zone and our nervous system to expand.
After such expansion,
It is normal to contract again.
In this contraction,
We start to embody and bring the changes more into our whole being.
To do so,
We need to rest.
You might notice you are more tired than usual or you feel like you are getting sick or are more impatient with things that come up in your life.
Planning ahead is super helpful in these times.
For example,
When you are working on something that requires you to expand your comfort zone,
Where you experience discomfort,
Plan in some downtime afterwards where you can just be so your nervous system has the chance to calm down.
This will actually often save you time in the long run.
I can give you a personal example here.
For me,
Sharing my point of view and being visible really stretches my comfort zone.
I have come to a point where I can show up and share more freely as I love to share value and support others.
Yet I need to rest and retreat afterwards.
Otherwise,
My nervous system fries and I end up sick in bed with a cold.
As I notice about myself,
I make sure that after having photos taken or interviews scheduled,
I plan a day off where I sleep in and do things that bring me joy.
This usually gives me so much energy that next time I'm scheduled for an interview or have photos taken,
I feel more comfortable and I need less time to recover.
My clients tell me similar things when I share this with them.
They start to build interest into times where they implement new habits or lean into their discomfort to grow their comfort zone.
And when they do so,
They have more ease moving forward because their bodies and nervous system find more ease.
Another thing that is also helpful is to start to notice how often we have our focus on the outside instead of within.
The more we focus on the outside world,
The circumstances that are happening around us,
The less we are in our body and able to act instead of react.
One way you can check in with yourself and grow your awareness is to have a crystal in your pocket or some jewelry you do not wear normally,
Like a simple bracelet or the like.
Every time you notice this jewelry or crystal,
You have the opportunity to pause for a moment and check in.
So you can notice if you're focused within or on the outside.
When you notice you're focused on the outside,
Take a few nice deep breaths or do something that works for you to bring you awareness back within.
You will notice the more often you do these things above,
The more you are in your body and the easier it becomes to embody the newfound awareness into your life to create lasting change.
Our consciousness moves in a spiral and that's a good thing.
Revisiting things over time and looking at them from new perspective as we go deeper enables us to drop more into our being and release more of the fragments that are no longer serving you.
With this in mind,
I invite you to revisit this and the other recordings as often as you feel called to explore and vision,
Release and soften into more of you.
Wishing you success and ease on your journey to embodying more of you.
