Beginning to settle to whatever comfortable seated position that you choose,
Laying down or sitting upright,
Allowing yourself this time today to be comfortable and relaxed with no pressure,
With no expectation,
Noticing what feels right in the body and allowing ourselves to be that.
Once we've chosen our comfortable and natural seated position,
We can now invite ourselves to soften into this position.
Now that we've arrived in the position that our body has chosen,
We can invite it to melt even further into form.
And maybe that just means there's an energetic shift or an energetic grounding.
Maybe there's a subtlety to the muscles that loosen or relax.
And perhaps our experience is different.
I invite you to take a few breaths to simply notice how the body's feeling,
To open up a conversation and dialogue with this physical form,
Letting go of expectation,
Letting go of judgment,
And similar to sitting down with a friend,
With a close friend,
A friend who has been through so much with us.
We've been through highs and lows with this friend.
And the opportunity for deep knowing and intimacy and trust is very possible with this friend,
This body.
And maybe we open up that dialogue,
A conversation with the physical form.
Maybe we ask,
How are you doing?
What do you need?
What do you have to tell me?
What can I better understand?
How are you feeling?
What do you have to tell me?
And maybe what we begin to notice is a sensation somewhere in the body.
Maybe what we notice are thoughts passing through our mind.
Maybe what we notice is an emotion or any other kind of experience.
And perhaps we take this opportunity to meet that experience with curiosity.
And perhaps asking this experience whatever we've noticed,
What do you have to tell me?
What messages have you brought me?
And maybe opening up the possibility of dialogue,
Giving these experiences or this experience an opportunity to speak,
To express.
Giving ourselves this opportunity to maybe become more intimate with ourself,
With our body,
With our mind,
With our emotions.
Sitting next to us.
And like a good friend,
We sit,
We listen,
We support in whatever way we can.
But first,
We listen.
How are you feeling?
What do you have to tell me?
What's coming up for you?
And we can ask our dear friend these questions and hold space for whatever comes up.
And whatever comes of those questions,
We continue to hold space and continue to practice non-judgment.
Continue to practice non-attachment as we listen to this friend's experience.
And maybe what we notice is sensations moving through the body.
Maybe we notice very physical reactions in response to these questions.
And if our experience is a very personal one,
We can relate to the emotion or whichever experience we may be having in a kind,
Curious way.
How can I better understand you?
How can I better comfort you?
How can I continue to support you and be there for you?
If you'd like to place one or both hands over your heart,
Beginning to breathe deeply into the gentle pressure of the hands,
Feeling the support and the presence of the hands over the heart.
At the same time,
It is a shield and it is a loving,
Tender blanket to protect and also soothe the heart.
We can begin to breathe into this light pressure,
Breathing into the heart space,
Breathing deeply into the heart.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And if we would like to guide our breath,
We can do so maybe by saying in our mind as we inhale,
I am inhaling and I am exhaling.
I am inhaling and I am exhaling.
I am breathing into my heart space and I am exhaling and letting go.
I am breathing into my heart space.
I am exhaling and letting go of the breath.
I am inhaling and I am here for myself.
I am exhaling and I am still here.
I am inhaling and I am here for myself.
I am exhaling and I am still here.
This is an opportunity for each of us to express love,
To feel love,
To be in love with this moment,
This experience with ourselves.
Be in love.
Be in love.
Maybe we say to ourselves,
Either in the mind or whispering,
I am here for you.
I am here for you.
I am here for you.
I'm not going anywhere.
I am here for you.
I am here for you.
I'm not going anywhere.
I am here for you.
I am here for you.
I'm not going anywhere.
I am here for you.
Take your time.
Stay as long as you'd like in this meditation.
And whatever you do,
As you transition out of this guided meditation,
Invite yourself to allow the river of love that flows through you to flow into your life and whatever it is that you may have coming up next in your life outside of this meditation.
May this powerful river flow through us and serve those around us as we move like the powerful waters of love.
May this powerful river flow through us and serve those around us as we move like the powerful waters of love.
May this powerful river flow through us and serve those around us as we move like the
