Hello everyone and welcome to this guided breathwork experience.
My name is Ben Holt and in this practice we are going to be doing Kabobati Pranayama.
Kabobati is a beautiful breathwork practice that is designed to clear out dense energy as well as open up the nostrils so that we can breathe easily and effortlessly through our nose throughout the day.
During Kabobati we will be exhaling powerfully through the nose and it will sound like this.
During Kabobati we'll place our dominant hand on the belly and we will allow for the belly to naturally inflate,
To naturally inhale and then we will pump the breath out through the nose like so.
As you pump the breath out you will feel your stomach coming in toward the spine.
This will be your diaphragm deflating as you exhale and then allow the inhale to naturally and organically happen and as this happens you will feel your hand gently rise with your belly.
Kabobati Pranayama is very similar to Bhastrika Pranayama or breath of fire but Kabobati doesn't include a powerful inhale.
Unlike breath of fire,
Kabobati is a powerful exhale through the nose and then a nice relaxed organic inhale deep into the belly.
So if you're ready to get started I invite you to sit up nice and tall with your back straight.
Get comfortable and make sure that your immediate environment is nice and safe.
Alright without further ado go ahead and place your dominant hand on your belly and let's take two deep breaths in through the nose.
Hold it for just a moment.
Open the mouth and sigh it out.
Deep breath in.
Open the mouth and sigh it out.
And we're ready to begin.
Let's take a nice deep breath in through the nose.
Exhale three-quarters of the way through the nose and begin.
Keep exhaling.
You're doing great.
Allowing the belly to naturally inflate after the exhale.
Exhale.

That was round one.
Another deep breath in and sigh it out.
We'll begin round two as we take a deep breath in and exhale it three-quarters of the way and begin.
