Welcome to this meditation for grief.

Grief can look different each day and this meditation can be used for connection,

Comfort and peace.

Let's begin by settling the body and mind.

Find a quiet,

Safe space where you can be still.

Close your eyes and begin to breathe slowly and deeply.

Inhale through your nose and exhale slowly.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to soften.

Feel the ground beneath you.

You are supported.

You are safe to feel everything here.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve.

There is only your heart doing its very best to carry love and loss at the same time.

With each breath,

Feel your body begin to relax.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw unclench.

Let your heart be held in stillness.

Now imagine a soft light gently surrounding you.

A light that represents comfort,

Love and presence.

This light is here to hold you.

It's okay to feel what you're feeling.

Grief is love in motion.

Now in your mind's eye,

Picture a beautiful place.

A place where you feel safe and calm.

It could be a garden,

A beach,

Or a quiet room filled with warmth.

As you rest here,

Allow yourself to invite the presence of your loved one.

You don't need to try too hard.

Just open your heart and trust that love always finds a way.

Perhaps you feel a shift in the air,

You see them in your mind,

Or you sense their energy around you.

They are not gone,

They've simply changed.

And they are still with you.

In every memory,

Every heartbeat,

Every moment of quiet knowing.

You may hear their voice,

Feel their touch,

Or simply feel surrounded by love.

Let this be a moment of reunion,

Of connection beyond words or time.

If there's anything you wish to say to them,

Say it now in your heart.

And if there's something they want you to know,

Trust what you hear or feel.

You might hear,

I'm still with you.

You are never alone.

I love you always.

Let these words wrap around you like a soft blanket.

Let yourself cry or smile or simply rest.

There is healing here,

There is love here,

And there is peace.

Now as the connection gently fades,

Know that you can return here anytime.

Love never truly dies.

It lives in your breath,

Your laughter,

Your memories,

And your strength.

Feel your heart soften just a little.

Let peace take root alongside the grief.

Let hope breathe again.

Take a few deep breaths and repeat gently in your mind,

I allow myself to grieve and I allow myself to heal.

My loved one is always with me.

I am surrounded by love and supported in my sorrow.

Peace is finding its way back to me.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Feel your feet on the ground,

Your breath in your lungs.

Place a hand over your heart.

Feel it beating,

Proof that love still lives here.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

Carry with you the love,

The memory,

And the quiet strength you've touched.

You are not alone.

You are deeply loved and peace is always within reach.

Thank you for this. Gave me the space to grieve. Instead of grinding my teeth and ploughing on. Much needed . 🙏🏼
