This meditation is in 2 parts, designed to: 1) Reduce anxiety by helping you re-center to focus on your breathing method, by simply practicing the inhale and exhale technique by holding the breath in for 3 seconds before fully releasing it out, repeating this method 10 times to come back to a point of total control, only focusing on the breath allowing any wandering thoughts to flow in and out of your mind. 2) Embracing the flow of energy.

It can be sitting upright in the lotus position or it can be lying down or even sitting in a chair with hands down by your side.

Now softly close your eyes,

Turning your awareness to your breath.

Let's start with a simple breathing exercise first to loosen up and reduce any tension your body might be carrying.

This exercise is to be repeated 10 times for it to prove effective,

Using contract to breathe in and expand to breathe out.

On the count of 3,

Let's take a deep breath in by inhaling for up to 3 seconds before exhaling it out.

Let's go.

On the count of 3,

Let's inhale,

1,

2,

3.

And exhale.

For the third time,

3 seconds,

Breathe in.

Let's go again.

Halfway there,

5 more to go.

And for the last time,

Deep inhale and hold for a second longer before exhaling.

Now we're going to practice the energy of flow.

We can choose to go with the current or the energy to open up endless possibilities that wait us or we can resist.

Which would you rather?

Moving your energy with ease to follow the flow.

Ask yourself which in your body feels better.

The free flow energy works in harmony for the movement of water or for the plants to grow.

The very same flow of energy flows for humans.

For one,

It is safe for us to follow the energy and see where it takes us.

There is no need to force anything.

Relax with ease and patience.

All things are possible when we allow ourselves to be open,

Receptive to welcome the new into our lives.

We trust in life,

In nature,

In mother earth and in each other.

We trust in the universe.

We let go to make room to allow for whatever comes our way.

Embracing ourselves to love.

Then as the cycles give way to nature,

We find ourselves in position of ease.

The transitions in our lives no longer appear scary.

They become just as natural as breathing.
