Whatever you were just doing before this.

I want you to know how proud of you I am for continuously showing up for yourself,

For your journey,

And for taking this time to connect to your inner being.

Gently take your hands and place one palm over your heart and the other on your belly and just pause and take this moment to let your body shift and center.

Notice the warmth of your own touch.

Experience the gentle pressure of your hands resting and feel into the subtle movements of each hand gently rising and falling as you breathe,

Realizing how every breath your body takes for you is its own gift in a way.

This time of year is intense and if you've been feeling the internal and external pressure to get everything just right,

Know that I'm feeling it too.

You are not alone.

Winter months bring forward many times and moments that make you question yourself.

You probably already know that these moments in life are fleeting and this too shall pass.

The winter season is a dark time of year where the days are short and the lists of things to accomplish are long,

But it's also a time of year to feel.

To go in and feel the discomforts of your life.

The winter months are a time when there's less external action and more introspect.

It's a time to rediscover who you are,

What really matters to you.

Take a moment to bring something into focus and as you find yourself in a brief moment of pause,

Think about one thing that is incredibly important to you.

It doesn't have to be anything elaborate really,

So long as it's something that feels like a true longing from your heart.

Maybe it's prioritizing your mental health and well-being.

Maybe it's finding your truest passion or maybe it's just being happy to be exactly who you are.

Allow yourself to be inspired by your own ideas of life right now.

Winter is a season where you give your focus and energy to what you're going to attract in the spring.

It's a season to find small moments of joy and to do what you can with what you have.

Living life to the fullest doesn't mean having your dream job or waking up every day with no problems in a picture-perfect reality.

It's really just about knowing how to be where your feet are already planted.

It's about knowing what your needs are and how you can meet them.

It's about finding contentment and inner peace right where you are.

It's learning how to build a simple life that you're proud to live in because if the joy is not in the little things first,

The big things won't fully find us.
